The game will have a commercial break, in which the Mafia choose a player to be the 8-ball, which is not publicly announced. Town must choose to eliminate a player by majority vote. If the 8-ball is lynched, it is revealed as such, and the Mafia get an extra nightkill that Night (for a total of 2 kills). Otherwise, the Mafia may not kill.

So, long as Mafia chooses the wrong player no NK tonight? But if they do than 2?

So, if majority vote for this, then mafia have to choose it right away, which takes away the advantage of choosing it later? Am I understanding this correctly?

Everyone stop voting 8ball. It may be the best option but a RVS wagon on the first page, especially one that involves following RC, is really suspicious.

I do believe that 8ball is the best. That said, I am almost certainly sure that one of Vedith/Taly/TemporalLich is scum. I’m pretty sure RC sees this too as they showed no hesitation to following the leader on D1.

Wisdom suggested the idea and RC gave first vote so we know it’s not them.

Wisdom and RC, both of u can probs setup analyze better than me and I am townreading you rn so answer me this...

Do you think that one of those 3 is scum?

If so, do you think we should change our path given that we know one of those three is scum?

We really need to be extra cautious who we lynch due to 8-ball mechanic.

If we lynch 8-ball then scum gets two kills. I understand Wisdom’s suspicions wrt to roster vote but I don’t know if it’s necessarily scum indicative.

So the thing is, doing reveal -> protect -> 8ball still doesnt let scum kill, and if we get an IC it let's them solely dictate the lynch so scum camt influence it around their 8ball. Shrug. We can do that tomorrow now.
