8. The
   Task Force Mission
   phase begins after everyone has received their Role PM.

   Player Order
   will be randomly selected, and whoever is on top will hold the
   Death Note
   first.
   • The holder of the
   Death Note
   will then choose players to "go" on the
   Task Force Mission
   .
   • This is where discussion in the game thread will begin. Players discuss which players should be put on the current
   Task Force Mission
   , and the holder of the
   Death Note
   will make the final decision. You will have

   days for this phase.
   • Once the players are chosen, players will have
   3
   days to VOTE: Pass or VOTE: Veto to majority, where
   Pass
   will allow the mission to go through, and the next phase will start. A
   Veto
   will cause this mission to be rejected, and the
   Death Note
   will move to the next person in the
   Player Order
   , and they will choose players to "go" on the mission, followed by another
   Pass/Fail
   phase. If

   missions are rejected, the mission will
   Fail
   automatically.
   
10. After a
    Task Force Mission
    has passed, the game thread will lock for up to
    48 hours
    (or until everyone who can send in an action accelerates it by choosing not to use action or sending their action).
    
11. This is the
    Succeed/Fail
    phase. If you are part of the
    Kira
    team, you will get to choose if you would like to
    Succeed
    or
    Fail
    .
    Task Force
    will automatically give a
    Succeed
    . The amount of each will be given at the start of the next
    Task Force Mission
    phase.
    
12. After the
    Succeed/Fail
    phase, the thread will stay locked for an additional
    24
    hours, and players will be given the option to use their actions. If everyone who can use an action sends me a message on whether they are using action or not, I will start early.
    
13. At the beginning of the next
    Task Force Mission
    the
    Death Note
    will move onto the next person on the
    Player Order
    , unless someone's ability changed it.
    
14. The game will continue like this until the
    Fourth Task Force Mission
    . At this phase, the holder of the
    Death Note
    , in addition to choosing the players for the
    Task Force Mission
    , you will have to give out

It's mainly just for flavor. Holder of the Death Note is the person who gets to choose who goes on the missions. Writing the name in the Death Note comes at the end of the game for the <Kira> team only, and that's basically Avalon trying to guess the Merlin. Giving the Death Notes out is like giving the Chancellor out from Secret Hitler. So I definitely took from all Resistance/Avalon/Secret Hitler.

Yes. 5 Veto'd missions will result in that mission being an Auto-Fail, not a Task Force defeat. Like I said, it's a fusion of all those games, not a duplicate.

Yeah, so I have some thoughts on this. Singleton's strategy could work, but that's if scum just allow it to and don't take any precautions towards it. It's also reliant on Rem being in the game, which is a 50-50.

That being said, if/when I run this again, Ryuk will not be able to use his ability on Mission 3 if it would allow him to win the game AND change Task Force Mission 3 to needing 2 Fails to fail.

Also, I will change the if 5 missions rejected, then auto victory for Kira, as is some variations of Resistance-like game play.

There were certain times that this game came off incredibly cool to watch and was refreshing towards different games on site, and other times it was incredibly slow, but I feel had the game kept going, it would have really picked up.

I'm excited to eventually run it again with the new choices, and I'm trying to create a version for more players, but it was necessary to run it with a smaller number of players for obvious reasons, but everything seems to come off.

The 2nd mission failed, and then the 3rd mission was able to auto fail from Ryuk, which isn’t an issue unless both of the first 2 missions fail.

Ryuk is able to use his after the 3rd or 4th, which I find necessary, but the Third will no longer be allowed to be used if Ryuk can win from it.

I also might take out daytalk between the 2. I like the idea of it being there, but we lose the “maybe there’s gonna be 2 fails by accident” potential.

Kira needs some nerfs, but if Matsuda shoots Kira, team Kira still gets a shot at L? That’s a big buff for Kira, but like, I get that too. Haha

D3 auto!win should not be a thing, so the Ryuk change makes sense. I still see team Kira gets a shot either way wrt to Matsuda.

The fact that Krazy failed M1 and made it into M2 shouldn't be a thing, and it was rightfully punished, so I don't think the setup needs much change.

I agree. I think there's a few ways scum can counter the breaking strategy, and that's a big risk for town anyways since it is 50/50, so if they take the risk they should get rewarded for it hard if they're in the right setup, and punished elsewise.

Ryuk cannot use ability Mission 3 if it's auto win.

Kira team won't be able to talk to each other to allow for situations where 2 scum are on the wagon, and they have to outguess each other, because that's always fun in Resistance.

5 fails = auto task force loss.

I also figured out things that I as a mod will be able to fix up to make it run more smoothly.
