I get your line of thinking but it's more that I think it's weird to kill obviously pro-town players, like, force the scum to do it. What you're talking about seems reliant on having an obviously scum player and them not getting online before the townie making the call. If you're obviously pro-town, you'll probably get your chance to fork anyway, when we get a scum and they kill you, except it'll be later in the game.

I also kind of feel currently like this is a bit of a distraction and the setup is well tuned enough that whichever way we go it's borderline.

I'm not really trying to shut down conversation, but I don't think it's a great plan to try to turn the game into a kingmaker situation

I think having at least two forked players alive at once is probably better because it keeps people a little more open to the team aspect of the game instead of "look at me and my powerful forks"

okay it's not *dumb*, but I think the best strategy for us here is for everyone to follow their own initiative for how they want to use their shots based on their reads and their interpretation of the best way to respond to the gamestate. in my experience, I've found that when town tries to have a centralized process that we've all agreed on, scum is going to have a lot more power to affect it than if they have to manipulate people individually. so I've come around on that, I think it's actually a great idea if there are people who have really strong townreads and weak scumreads and want to get shots to those people. just don't get weird about people not playing the game the same way you are because there's a lot of ways to skin this particular cat.

Jingle has always had the setup he's in as a pretty large pillar of how he scumhunts iirc, and I'm not seeing that here. And I don't know what to make of it, because he will play that way regardless of alignment.
