It's hard for me to reply at work so I left this until I was home but honestly a slip is... boring to me? Like, there's two options:

Scum!T3 is dumb as bricks and managed to slip somehow despite it being a feat.
Town!T3 is dumb as bricks and managed to bungle up that badly to the point that he apparently left? (I haven't read up but I saw this post before I closed my phone).

It's not very dynamic play for me really so like, beyond the initial funny moment of "haha scumslip xd" it's kind of like... oh well. I don't have a lot more to say to it beyond voting it because it's a mess that he made we have to deal with.

I dont expect either to be perfect. this is a game. every player has highs and lows both in games and throughout all their games. however, a scum read that stays from either you or pooky I do believe is a scum claim/werewolf claim.

pooky specifically is someone that is very sensitive to emotions in posts. he is very sensitive to lies and how people are reacting. he loves to playfully test people and is curious like no other player on mafiascum. I believe that he, if town, would be interested in testing us because of how fast we picked up scum reads. and as a scum read that isnt the main scum read, that should add to his curiosity in my opinion because often times scum is in the people that get heat but never get run up. that should pique his interest I think. one could say we have lurked and stayed away from most of the discussion on scummy players. what is there not to be curious about about us?

ok first things first your interaction with unwnd is weird. this one I actually can't explain so it doesn't matter how much you shade me I will not be able to explain it. I typically have a hard time reading unwnd though so that's something to keep in mind I guess.

I guess just the choice of putting unwnd at the top is strange in a very wifom-y sense. unwnd's reaction to it really doesn't help me. I think I feel really good saying that {unwnd, dannflor} has one town maximum. it seems like a slight scum tactic to be putting someone that is on the edge about your alignment at the top. but its hard to say because unwnds reaction makes me feel that your interaction isnt TvT. its such a brief interaction and I suck at reading unwnd so I dont feel confident saying this but I'm not a fan of that interaction. to confirm, I did see unwnds reply the first time around which was the post that I mentioned maybe influencing my read.

[lukewarm, echo, kazyan, celestial?] this is probably the part of the reads list that I have the biggest issue with. this is a group of pretty controversial players put this high and something that I've done in not one but multiple scum games of my own. scum that rep in and are USRs have no choice but to try to change up everyone's reads lists and this feels particularly like that. putting scum read players higher also makes the chances of them TRing you much larger just because self preservation and feeling vulnerable being at the bottom of reads lists.

I would say that in general, I don't usually start with scum reads, I start out looking for people I feel like I can trust, and then scum reads come later - there are probably exceptions to this, but I think that this is generally closer to my norm

The more I think about this post, the more nonsensical it is to me.

They present 2 possibilities for my position which are basically:

I am paranoid town, or
I am paranoid scum

i will admit, i am slightly swayed however i think i had very valid points. regardless of lukewarm's alignment, they are areas to improve on. i was just trying to figure out his alignment and he blew up on me for essentially no reason. the issue is that even now, i think all of his posts in reply to me were extremely nonsensical. i've had worse replies in games but nonetheless i was not a fan of his replies.

Lukewarm doesn't seem befitting as scum. There's a certain composition to his posts that is almost feverish. He sweats about me who has tricked him and then adds a few other prominent players. I'm not going to guess his reason but I can say from my own time spent as a tadpole I always "enjoyed" being paranoid about my peers. It's healthy and didn't seem manipulative. Maybe even add the fact I think he'd be trying to suck up to us because he knows as scum he doesn't really have a chance (in his mind).
