I kinda don't believe you're telling the whole story about your role Mastina but if it does work that way then absolutely use it.

Using it gives us benefits to our abilities that I personally would like.

Not using it gives us a pool of 8 (if it fails) to use as a broad cop check and if scum doesn’t sabotage it we have the ability for later.

Two feels like it gives better results but I selfishly want the first choice.

I don't think it's bad, I had the same thoughts and I suggested to cheeky not blind trusting the claim but it didn't seem like Mastina knew about the +1 reward at the time of claiming and her recent posting lines up so more likely town than not right now.

I've mostly been going on other people claiming Bell is town but I'm a big fan of this post. Also never playing with Elsa before lines up with suspecting Elsa as scum.

I'm gonna double down on Elsa being easily pushable day 1. In fact the scummier their day 1 play is the more likely town they are imo. This is super old meta because we're super old people though so take it with a grain of salt.

Here's the deal: we have to consolidate eventually somewhere. Game is lethargic. Aa9 is a fine choice to consolidate on because she is scummy af. Do I know she's scum? No. Am I super confident? No, because she has just always been scummy. Quickly looking through their iso I think there's a lot there to dig into - on a quick glance I think it confirms MB, Mandelbrot and probably wheme as town based on interactions. I would add Elsa to the list but feeling like I would probably scumread Elsa if they were my buddy in case they did go down D1. Mastina could actually be scum here, as Elsa pointed out early in the game, surely only scum would have raid mechanics? Since Mastina never lies about her role I believe it does what she says but there's no guarantee it's town.

Looking at the setup - if there were no such role that guaranteed success then town would have free access to a tool that outputs PoE pools of players, depending on the outcome. So surely it is a scum role designed to prevent/cloud the use of raids as PoE tools.

Also looking at cakez townread on her I'd say the lay up is for mastina to deep wolf to end game. The cakez guilty also makes sense from an NK PoV.

I may or may not go into this ISO more and I may check out Mirio but I think it's pretty clear that dude got killed because they were never being limmed.

In the OP it's stated there may or may not be a role that...idk the exact wording rn, effects raids maybe? Which implies that the role does exist. There isn't a reason to add that bit in if it doesn't. So agreed that Mastina is telling the truth rolewise. Does it make sense for scum to have the role? Why not, it makes them effectively vanilla. I don't remember Mastina being super caught up on wanting to have the +1 to succeed a future raid so maybe some validity to that? Or suggests that it isn't 1 shot.

I don't want to make any snap Mastina judgements since her oog circumstances are limiting the engagement availability here. Just something to take into consideration.

Ehh I think the setup is inherently swingy due to the raid mechanic. X night or x shot town power makes sense, especially with the Garuda raid rewards.

Scum have to be proactive both in joining raids and in deciding the success rate of raids. The rewards are obviously good stuff to have but they also want the chaos benefits to stifle town.

Now that I think about it Mastina probably town. Not for her role but for the usage. Relying on three straight raid fails to flip numbers is risky but that's the level scum really wants. Mastina claiming to succeed the raid with the reward being plus 2 sets them back from what would be an early advantage.
