What do you think about the votes on us? I wasn't thrilled with DV's but rereading my post asking to be engaged by you and marci I can squint and kinda see how he got there, but overall feels like a reach to me.

I do think it's odd that he criticizes us for trying too hard to get in a townbloc and then proceeds to buddy (imo) LLD by saying he agrees with her despite her having only voted this entire game.

I don’t think there’s anything fundamentally different between suspicion and criticism in this context.

I can elaborate on why I called your agreement with LLD buddying: LLD has done nothing but vote this entire game, which is fine, but your explicitly calling out that you agree with her feels unearned because she hasn’t expressed an opinion to be agreed with outside of what we can assume from her votes.

It felt to me that you were trying to endear yourself to her, and seeing as LLD is a very influential Town player I could see scum trying to cozy up to her.

So many things are suddenly becoming other things and it reeks of creating narratives where no such narratives exist

This post illustrates a pattern with your approach to us so far: in the post where you vote us, you seem to take issue with the post where I list out all my townreads and ask for a few of them to engage with me about the game. You immediately assume the worst and claim that we are trying to get in a townbloc instead of just having some town reads and wanting to talk to them about the game.

The above quoted post paints my actions as “creating narratives” which feels like a reach and is a buzz-phrase that gives you a convenient excuse to double down on your vote as our wagon grows.

Like, I get you're scum reading us otherwise, but this post continues the trend of picking something out and painting it in the scummiest light possible to add to your collection of "points" against us. HOWEVER, the question is whether you're doing this disingenuously or if you actually think you've found something and your confbias is causing you to see everything we do in a bad light. That remains to be seen. I don't hate your reads post overall and will probably let notty do his thing for awhile because he graciously allowed me to go after you for a bit.

And since we're talking about familiarity, I'd love to dismantle a few of your arguments that are AT BEST NAI for me:
1. I call myself Town regardless of my alignment. I believe I am actually MORE inclined to do so as Town than scum because as Town when there is widespread suspicion on me I blame everyone else for being bad/wrong or scum and double down on claiming Town. As scum I know they're right about me so I'm like "oh shit I better pick up the pace and do something to get myself townread" and pivot away from this behavior if it starts putting me on radars. Is constantly calling myself Town irritating and unhelpful? Yes and MAYBE. Look at all the great content I got out of you because of it!!!!!!!!
2. Your point about asking townreads to engage me is like an absolute tenant of my townplay and a really bad point. Everyone that's played with me should be able vouch for that. Public service announcement: while my join date is old, I took off some time from the site and just returned a month ago or so. So for me, LLD's naked votes may be something you are used to, I don't remember seeing this. If her style means something to you, great. It doesn't mean anything to me and I have no idea how to read someone like this.

This is her third game in this style from my recollection. Last time she at least answered yes or no questions, but majority of the game refused to try and sort her on principle. This time she’s not doing that, so it’s understandable to be hard to read. It was also likely a decision that was made prior to the game, so realistically no bearing on alignment (that she chose this posting style). Again, she’s welcome to say this is wrong but I’m trying to explain it.

Thats part of my heads issue with DV- immediately jumping to her defense when frankly she SHOULD be difficult to read in this instance?

As for Icebox, both heads hate drawing scum and it seeps into their tone, Bell head in particular. The snark and paranoia about me in particular is more likely to come from Bell-town, who got burned in our last game together through his read on me. He was always going to be extra paranoid our first game after, and this is what I expected to see. I think it would be more suggested and not acted on if he were scum, as he’s familiar enough with me to know my WIM as town blows his scum WIM out of the water. This is a meta read, but I think I’ve phrased it to where it’s understandable? But if they are scum- look for Giffy outright vanishing and bell feeling flimsy.

I briefly skimmed his (scum) ISO in FF14 and while he seemed to be similarly inactive early on, in that game he made more game-related posts which to me seems like he was more self-conscious about how he came across. His early game here was more relaxed and carefree, similar to his content in Isekai (which I also briefly skimmed).

I'd also expect scum!Wheme to have a more survivable and less botched claim here. Like I'd imagine scum would put their heads together to save him here as scum teams do, and who would ever sign off on claiming IC that "can't activate yet"? He would probably just claim FN outright, which would make today way more survivable for him. I find it more likely that he as Town was genuinely confused at the function of his role and severely botched it.

@LLD the bottom line is that Galron is a sure thing as far as I'm concerned and I would match rather lim the sure thing now than later? From the scumteam perspective Galron is already a dead man walking and I don't believe we'll get any worthwhile reactions from them if we keep him alive.

Limming him now means he isn't given another chance to steal from anyone and stifling Town power. Limming him now means scum is forced to perform the kill with someone else giving GL a shot at tracking another team member to the nightkill. If he somehow flips Town here, we at the very least have a fullclear on Skybird. All of these things I find far more advantageous than any potential decisions or manufactured reactions scum will make about a player who's basically already caught.

@Wisdom, regarding Dunn, I feel like Dunn being incredulous at his wagon yesterday was more warranted than his behavior in Mountain Dew because we had a literal guilty that like 70% of the game wanted let live and I would be pissed as fuck too if I were on the receiving end of votes like he was yesterday.
