We go with the cop plan and start crossing widely suspected slots, and this is our line-up alignment-wise:

We've gone through our first 4 players and most of the living scumteam is already alive. Now, we're going to start crossing widely townread slots, and scum aren't quite at threat in needing to kill yet. So this gives options.

Versus a plan that's more

"baity town --> stronger town"

Last townie here is probably eating the NK, which would almost effectively clear the above players, and protects town that is more universally agreed upon. It better ensures a townbloc forms without the WIFOM of exclusively identifying a PoE that already consists of players that are widely suspects.

There was a degree of self-pres but I also very much didn’t want to offer a free ride to potential scum that would’ve crossed in the back-to-back method, since while my thing with Dwlee was pretty one-sided ulyana/Cakez and gooey/skitter were definitely ones where it would’ve been advantageous for scum in there to try to cross right after their rival and then kick out the bridge under them.

I think Toog's strategy was correct. If you look prior to page thirty, Toog was pushing scum in the slankers. Dunn definitely qualifies as a lurker. Unless Dunn was the only slanker, Toog was definitely on the right track. Toog's comments also weren't specific enough to be scum bussing to take credit.

Since it's near impossible for Stagehands to kill the most townie looking people in the game, the optimal strategy is for them to act as pro town as possible. And since town can neither scan players since this is powerless, and has absolutely no idea which games are actually going to kill which players (but scum do), their only answer is to just kill lhf players.
