That should be fine though, since I think we're still oriented towards a win either way.
Worthy sacrifice!
You’ve managed to enter into my top town reads on tone alone and that’s always a bad thing.

Strong evidence I was town yeah but not like a cop clear
You let this by and coasted. It sucks.
Also no, the one I was bitter about misreading me was Baltar but I managed to avoid killing them by playing to the rule of thumb that my first tunnel day 1 is always on town.
You I just don’t see any town pov. Or work. Or solving. Or *ommph* also, your reason that your reads have been good to decent isn’t really true and you don’t get much like points for correctly solving for someone and then not convincing anyone to follow. In the same way that if Baltar had flipped scum I wouldn’t have claimed I had a good read because I didn’t actively push for them to die.

Also blaming kovu for drowning you in posts is insane.
Even if they barely posted in there you would barely have posted because you said yourself you were busy with life stuff.
It’s not even a good lie.

Isn't that what we said about Fey as well?

Who do we want in the hood tonight if we aren't flipping SirCakez today, bearing in mind that removes my ability to cop them for the remainder of the game? General question to everyone.
I don’t really want to shoot Fey. Because they…did whatever it is they did.
Obviously I just want rhyme and reason in there.

*shrug* it depends on how that particular role would work.
It would be a doc for example, but coordinating wouldn’t put us at a serious disadvantage if that were the case. A redirector would be interesting I guess.

I'm not sure I understand the later part, but my point was that the idea was floated of pointing our guns at SirCakez if Fey flipped town today; not that we should shoot Fey; and if we have two slots for whom a town flip would point to scum!Cakez...

Are you saying you think there are good reasons to take Fey off the table today as well?
Not good reasons no. I’m just weak to AtE.

Adding probably the #1 person trying to kill me in Bell would accomplish exactly the opposite of that
As was seen at the beginning of today when Bell convinced Kovu I was mafia for a bit
1. You didn’t do this cause you were busy it’s in your interest as either alignment to do this.
2. What about Kovu’s posts make you think they can be convinced by other people. I can’t imagine convincing kovu to vote a scum read they didn’t agree with.

This is true, I’m not likely to listen to anyone that doesn’t do much. The things that make me doubt myself is that your reasoning is terrible (and presumably, you’d be more aware of this as scum and try something better) and the fact you haven’t done anything actively anti-town.

Fey can you unpack why you got so upset this game? I genuinely don’t know if you’re upset or not. Or why you’re upset.

I think Gorilla's contempt and anger, while consistent, is also something that is very easy to emulate as scum, because the feeling is there too. Their trejectory is perfect for their anger, but being consistent isn't actually a town tell.

I'm not sure Dunnstrall so blatantly avoids bussing their entire team and keeps pushing incorrectly all game.

I am an emotional person and I do not owe you a reason other than I was upset Rhyme was misreading me. My emotions are present as either alignment and if you think that is what defines my play you do not understand the differences.
I did not say you owe me a reason. Nobody owes me anything.
I probably don't understand the differences.

You described your play as town as anger at being misunderstood. This has been pretty much the core of what has happened this game in your slot from my pov because nothing else really feels real or solvey.

Hello?
Everyone needs to do it.
What specifically have you done this game that you would never have done as scum?

Oh.
That’s life I suppose. I guess I’ll check in tomorrow but I guess if they don’t I’ll just hijack it and take responsibility for the L. I can feel an epic misread coming.

In post 3175, Meuh wrote:Considering I don't think a single person went into their reserves, idk if that's true? But maybe people would be less scared of getting into their reserves so they'd post more. (Wasn't Lukewarm on day 2 the only one who got close?)

To me it feels like compelling the players to compile their thoughts into 1 post is good so we don't get people flooding the thread. (I'm probably the one who did this the most this game so ) But if it prevents shitposting it's less good. So it's good and bad. Don't know what to make of it, but I'd definitely not be opposed to playing another postcap game in the future.
I'm also curious about the impact it had on private thread activity (and if this is good or bad for the health of the game)
In post 3176, Meuh wrote:percentage based postcaps also interest me as a way to specifically stop 1-3 players from just hijacking the thread, but they sound harder to implement. Plus harder to follow, both for players and hosts.
and also it feels like it'd punish people for trying to make a game more active when a large amount of the list aren't doing much, which sounds not very fun.
So maybe just a preset universal cap like this one is good.
Last question.

@Everyone: one person who do you want to kill? Who is essentially your top scum read. Keep it extremely concise.

In post 3078, Dunnstral wrote:For real though, I don't think I make sense in any team because I was almost eliminated on day 3. And I feel like every time the votes are on me the game goes dead silent. There were 2-3 mafia voting me at the same time on day 3
Dunnstral lost the previous game with the worst response by a mile.

I can’t either, well I can. Because. But I really thought it was a distant possibility. I should have looked more closely but I wonder if that would have helped at all.

Sorry Fey, I undermined Mena’s read of you because I thought they had weaknesses to emotional manipulation from certain angles based on my I thought limited success at manipulating them as scum. They were right this time.
