I am setting my productivity to 0% today.

You may call that anti-town as much as you want; you can consider it suspicious as much as you want. Which is fair. The scum extra kill mechanism is ludicrously strong and I am fully aware of the risks.

But I have very strong reasons for doing so. I promise that by D4, you'll know why.
I won't go 0% more than once.

But for ~reasons~ I need to go 0% today. Let's just say I'll become a scumhunting GOD.

Are you basically claiming that you have a power worth the over all productivity taking a hit?

Conversely, people probably should not declare intent to go to 100% productivity, because that is paramount to claiming either a VT or a PR with a bad ability.

As far as Mastina goes it’s just personal meta for Mastina to claim first post that their role is game breaking but they can’t talk about it.

Be prepared for Mastina to talk about it a lot in spite of that but it’s not that alignment indicative.

Also, I did confirm with the mod that there is guaranteed to be at least one VT in the game. I assume there is also more than one VT in the game, and guessing the ratio of PR to VT is probably pretty important. I was estimating somewhere around 2:1 to 1:1-- having too many VT's makes it trivially easy to keep productivity up. Since we need to average at least 75%, if we assume 2:1 PR:VT, the PR's would need to average around 62%, which honestly isn't bad.

The tricky thing is that hitting way too high is also pretty devastating for town because we lose a lot of power. So we should probably aim for no higher than 85%, which would require a PR average of 78%.

So my (almost) completely uninformed take is that most PR's should be producing between 62-78%. Since mastina is committed to 0 and is probably roughly 10% of town's PR's, shift that up 10% for today, so 68-86%.

VT being useful is kind of assuring though. Town getting ripped off the back of a slow day (production wise) is rough. Lessens the pressure on prs too.

Just to piggyback on this and really put the boot in, I never have this kind of thought. Something is either town or scum for me or neither, not....'something'. At the time I interpreted it as shade, like a scumping.

My stance on Ircher is that I didn’t really care for their posting. At the time I voted it was just a pressure thing, Townread in Uncrowned was also willing to go on it, and I didn’t feel in great company on the ydrasse wagon.

I’d probably be more into believing Ircher!town if they had come back harder against Titus. I have seen agreeable scum!Ircher but from memory can’t recall a combative scum!ircher. Not in the same way they are willing to bump heads as town so, still fine with a vote there.

Also don’t think Ydrasse wagon is as sketchy as I first thought. I don’t claim to know how to read Ydrasse but my gut reaction to the “carefree, floating, nonchalant” play is that it’s a scum thing from Ydrasse specifically. I’d go into the psyche behind that but I’m likely not pushing there over Ircher or other scumreads like fire/Klick.

Ehh, maybe I’m talking out of my ass here. I just think suspicion on Ircher stuck, but don’t think it’s unfounded. I compared Ircher here to Ircher in control when called out by LLD and I think the situations are nearly 1:1 in terms of response to pressure.

Also fwiw I don’t think SS + Ircher is a thing for any of the reasons Titus have out.

Titus could have been bussing but you would have to think they were on top of Ircher’s case very aggressively and maybe? It’s possible the Scum decided to take alternative tracks in order to not all get lumped together, but I seriously doubt all of the Scum bailed on Ircher immediately.

Ircher's role was pretty weak, and tbh Ircher gets run up D1 almost every game I play with him regardless of his alignment. I don't think he got hard bussed by his entire team, but I don't think they had much incentive to try to save him either. Best play for scum is for them to avoid being associated with Ircher at all IMO.

You’re using the NK to justify your vote, which is always suspect (it’s like you haven’t even considered that Scum make kills to confuse / frame the Town). But the single most important way you’re pointing to for identifying Scum in the game from day play conflicts directly with that vote. The fact that you’re not even acknowledging that is bizarre.

I'm voting Titus because it's a read on how she plays the game as scum. She kills threats and stays low key. I can scum read her independently of how I think the scum team played around Ircher's slip. If you think that's a scummy thought process then you're gonna have to explain why because I don't get it.

I don’t hate this Titus read. Of all the Titus!scumreads this game this is the only one that doesn’t come off as BS. That said I think you’re missing the mark regardless. Titus I town here and I’d bet Fire’s life on it.
