I want Shirou to try to express their read on me. They have a PT with me and I wanna hear what they have to say if they’re wolfreading me. I don’t want them to die before they are able to do this as I feel like that would be a mistake.

I don’t think if we were wolves theater would be our strategy. We would probably want to work together and if anything we wouldn’t be like, posturing around each other. If anything we probably wouldn’t be fighting and I would be advocating him as solid town if we’re both wolves.

Additionally we both probably try to kill Pooky. Spending money doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense if the two of us are able to try to get votes on Pooky. If we are both wolves eliminating him shouldn’t be a problem unless it was only the wolf team reading him as wolf. Getting 3 villagers to vote Pooky doesn’t seem that hard furtive would be willing to do it that’s 1.

I think one thing I could have done better was waited and be more patient but in the moment furtive was fucking weird and it looked like he was playing without an actual read on my slot so I just thought wolf. I held back for so long because I wanted to see who else was going to bite and evaluate but like it's weird and apparently I can't keep my cards to myself. I'm super impulsive so it's pretty easy for me to just abandon whatever it was I think I was going to do for a new plan I think is better.

Ideally I would like to say I would like to play to the ideal of a control mage but I think I am failing to so as I find myself continuing to post and not really being patient with scouting the rest of the player's worldviews. I really like trying to understand everyone's worldview and trying to identify what wolves want to do in the moment and look for that.

a lot of my playstyle is actually just super reactive. I ideally would want to wait and see what else everyone else is doing and then decide what I want to do based off of that.

Thinking that the most widely suspected slots are towny is SCUM INDICATIVE and REEKS of TMI or soft protecting buddies by attacking who wants to kill them. I believe the majority suspects titus at the very least, and the majority is uninformed.

Ydrasse disagreed with the majority on the objectively scummy slot being scummy. Ydrasse was scum.

If I really wanted to put effort into this, I guess I would even go look on most of my past town games and find examples of scum just going "oh yeah, that person everyone suspects? town". When you know the alignments of players it's much easier to see the supposedly town motivation or explanation for their actions.

I'm one of the best titus readers on the website? At least I was when I was playing and I don't imagine she plays drastically different in a year. Either way I can read her well so I tried to look for evidence of her thinking about the game and being a villager, I found it, and I ran with the idea that maybe wolves would jump on that slot like dogs to a bone. Freedom even wanted to swap to me which I feel like is villager indicative because it seems like they are solving and not just doing opportunistic stuff.

I actually do find myself in games defending players when they are being suspected by the majority.

I'll intellectually admit this is true because I'm not quite yet at the point I want to murder your slot so hard that I don't care about lying on what I think just to make it a more effective push, but it's not quite like that. I think scum bus a lot more often than people give credit for, there's even some hilarious examples in my not so many town games played where scum bussed one scum elimination away from the win (it was like a white flag mechanic of sorts).

The pressure scum feels to be in the "right wagon" due to their natural TMI/self-conscious approach to the game is big enough that I really think many scum if not most would choose to bus first pivot later rather than the opposite if given a choice?

It was also a passing thought because now I'm focused on what other slots do towards you and HC wanting me to team swap but remembering voting you was good was a bit weird so I pointed out

My philosophy on bussing is identical to the article raybells put out about bussing. My busses are strategic. The play you are implying would be if the wolf team played with everyone for themselves. I am EXTREMELY greedy. Gamma might be familiar with the time I was wolf with UT and Reck and while they kept trying to kill me I made pro-wolf challenges that ended in townies getting miseliminated for as long as I could even till the very end. during the furtive and pooky 1v1 I was aggainst furtive I just never made it known. It was a slot of interest because I came around to Titus town and wanted to keep the conclusion to myself.

I don't see why I would re-evaluate my gamestate read if my read on titus is I think titus is town for putting you and pooky as town. I actually think titus has continued to play her towngame she also got cold feet on furtive, just a few posts above my dead air dead villager post. I think the player is town and wolves are still going to want it dead.

haschel seems fine as well, enchant as a fos seems like a really outlandish read that only villagers would have and I think wolves are going to put enchant in the townpile

Like his play does come across as you said, but if we were to really reconsider, I don't think such a thing is impossible to fake. This is part of the reason why I was townreading him in the past as well and now I just feel like it's not strong enough.

I think STD is a solid townread. I have no complaints with how he played this day phase. His read on me has been extremely consistent. I think if he was interested in my wagon and wanted to see it or shirou through, he could have. There were probably a lot of opportunities for that to happen and he decided not to take them. I think if he's a wolf he could have easily justified dropping his TR on me at some point but he hasn't. He's sticking to it and I like that.
