Socrates my old scumbuddy! Good to see you again.
Fate, I've always liked your style of play! I hope I did your mason spot justice.
CMAR, what is this, like the 4th game in a row we've had? I expect your "claim before rereading" tactic won't apply in this game though!
MehPlus--I don't think I mentioned it, but that was some great vig work in Lay of the Lethian.
Kise, haven't seen you in a while but we had some good times in teleportation if I recall correctly!
Reaper, nice catch with the mispelling! That had me laughing, I love playing with funny people.
Haven't played with the rest of you, but may I just say that you are all excellent people and I'm very pleased to be playing with each and everyone of you. Mafiascum's finest in this game!
Not going to vote just yet, I don't really believe in random voting and wouldn't want to get off on the wrong foot with any of you.-

Yes I think Soc got caught out putting me into the scum pile to casually. His reason is not a good one at all. He was my scum partner in pypII, he should know that my "tunneling" means nothing.CryMeARiver wrote: @Soc: Have you ever played with Jack? You barely posted anything and then did a summary which doesn't match with what you know of people's meta's or with what you said earlier in the thread. AKA you were acting lazy and then threw that post together to look protown.
CMAR is definitely overeager, but I don't know if that makes him scum.
His summary of CMAR has nothing to do with what he said about CMAR earlier...and cmar was the main player he singled out. Before he said he was definitely overeager...now it "can be construed" as scum trying to buddy (because that's likely??).CMAR's vote on Reapercharlie can be construed as an attempt to buddy up to me, thinking that that is what I wanted to see out of him. I want to see how he follows up on it before I call him scum.
****
previously mentioned hasty place of me in the town pile for bad reason
****
Doesn't mention karma even though he did everyone else, votes him in next post, then it's "Also, Karma is the scumbag. Vote him. "
***
So Soc active lurked and then posted a fake overview trying to look town post.
Your comment about me is a weird rip off of CMAR's...CMAR wrote: I'm pretty sure early game tunneling out of Jack without providing any info is normal? This is honest to god scum talking about something in the QT and it accidentally leaking over into the thread. CMAR can't really remember the point, Soc brings it up out of the blue in a weird way, and now CMAR somehow knows all about it.CMAR wrote:@Soc: Have you ever played with Jack? He almost ALWAYS does this to a player in every game, sometimes he's right, sadly, not this time. Hence why I'm generally ignoring him.
Conclusion: CMAR and Soc are scum-

Claim: Neighbor
Neighbors with CMAR. He was rather unresponsive to start the game so I pushed him in thread instead. Now check back to the three quotes I posted earlier:
quote 1--CMAR says something about it being normal to for me to tunnel on someone, it "rings a bell" for him.
quote 2--Soc holds up my tunneling on cmar as a town tell because it would be too dangerous. Which is a lazy and untrue thing to say.
quote 3--now CMAR supposedly knows all about it while he didn't before.
I concluded that they had talked about it privately, fairly obvious if you ask me.
Rule 5 says I can't quote the QT, but I pressed CMAR on this and on Socrates. He softclaimed that he was also neighbors with Socrates and then claimed he wasn't allowed to talk about it when pressed. While talking about socrates he mentioned (soon after marathon day) that socrates didn't seem the type to bus, socrates played a game on marathon day with me where he bussed and it ended up being very stressful and he said "I'm never bussing again", I assume they discussed bussing given CMAR's scrambling defense, maybe it's coincidence maybe not.
Confirm vote:Socrates
If CMAR is scum I take it as a given that he is as well, and more likely to be a roleblocker/other scum role.
DGB is likely scum too.-

Why are you very confused? If you were townie I don't see why you'd be confused--it would be simple, CMAR is scum and took the opportunity to frame you--you at least sounded confident earlier that the connection between you two was obviously just coincidence. In no way would your not being neighbors with CMAR make the whole thing "goofy", since no one is assuming you are.Socrates wrote:I'm not scum though nor do I have any way to communicate with CMAR, thats the thing. I'm very confused here.
I pushed him on the tunneling thing soon after posting my case.Jack should elaborate on the cirsumstances of CMAR's "soft-claim". When did he do it?
Ok, so the reason you asked a question that had already been answered was that you think I'm scum with CMAR? Assuming you aren't accusing me of bussing now. Yeah, I'm going to say you were grasping for a response with this post.
Your reason gave me de`javu, Jack. You remember my "reasoning" when I bussed you in that game I mentioned.Jack wrote:I don't think the mod would give CMAR-scum two neighbors. And I already answered this question in my post...-

DGB is sounding like bussing.
BC's reaction is very interesting.
CMAR posted three times, but acts like he hasn't read anything? Did he post substantially elsewhere?
@fate: I will think some things over while waiting for CMAR's post. My gut read on Soc could be wrong, and there's a bit less hard evidence there than I was thinking, could be alternate explanations.-

DGB is likely scum too.
You are pretty obviously scum with CMAR, and I'm thinking soc is town or at least not scum with you too. DGB, what happened to:
You have been pushing Soc over CMAR way to hard to say this. I think my reasoning in the first quote is absolutely silly in retrospect. I was caught up in my cmar-soc theory that I've had for about half the game.DGB wrote:I'd be perfectly happy switching to CMAR, I just think it's sub-optimal.-
