I'm pretty sure Iammars investigated me last night, so if someone can revive him so he can tell everyone that I'm innocent, that would be lovely.

I agree. Except one time when it was LML and he was actually a mason. That sucked.

I thought this was weird though:

Nobody said they thought he was guilty so I don't know why he's so keen to prove he's innocent. Paranoia much?

Okay, so this shoudl explain why I think Iammars invesitagted me:
Iammars wrote:Yeah, that sounds like what I do. My N1 investigations are in this order: Vesuvan
Seol
Dragon Pheonix
Thesp MeMe
Mr. Flay
Commodore Amazing
peacebringer
Jentsu
Me thinks random N1 investigations sound good, though I will probably not be in that situation
as you can see from viewtopic.php?t=2779&start=0

I remembered that after I saw Iammars was killed and I thought, "Who would kill Iammars, Scapegoat Extraordinaire?" Anyway, I think I'm lynched already, so I encourage you to look at the people who jumped on my bandwagon out of nowhere before I had a chance to respond.

If I'm not dead yet, I'll claim, otherwise I think my role will be pretty self-explanatory when it's revealed after I'm lycnhed. Anyting else that I did that was scummy?

Oh, and I changed my voted to Pooky because I don't like it when people use "scum tells" against experienced players. It always looks like a lazy reason for a day one bandwagon to me. I know I always pray for "scum tells" when I'm scum. If I'm alerady dead, I sugggest you look at my old mafia accomplice, the Pookster.

P.S."Feliz ano nuevo" sort of means "Happy new year!"

If I'm not lynched yet, I can claim before I get lynched. I think my claim's pretty convincing, as it's something that's obviously in the game, and obviously not a scum role.

No kidding.

Anyway, I'm not scum. I think JechtMurray was one of the shadier fellows to hop on my bandwagon, so I think he's a pretty good place to start with this game.

bigbenwd, I'm not going to claim until I get like 14 or 15 votes. If that happens, everyone will hear my claim, say, "Derf, I don't know why I was voting for him in the first place," and then we'll bandwagon someone who was on my bandwagon. So let's just skip my claim and go straight to JechtMurray.

Regarding W!nt3r, Lostprophet wrote:Ah, it's the "super-long analysis/OMGWTFYOUVOTEDFORME" guy. That's usually me, but so it goes.

Your ad hom diatribe there only fuels the fire, though. If you're a townie I would strongly reconsider your tactics. If not, feel free to continue shoveling your own grave.
Nice with the "ad hominem." I enjoy people who use the "ad hominem" tactic, and then accuse other people of it:
Regarding W!nt3r, Lostprophet wrote:B). Your attitude is arbitrary and poor.
Or is that not "ad hominem?" For those who don't speak Latin: Logical_Fallacies. @LP - You're lucky I don't believe in the hypocrite vote.
W!nt3r wrote: That's why I don't mind dying. I'm looking at Antrax's article on how to be a good townie and so far so good.
Is that a claim? Like, a full claim?

The best thing about all this nonsense is that I could just claim and end it all by being confirmed town, but then it wouldn't be nearly as informative as watching people scummify themselves by calling me a scumbag. I'll give everyone a chance to unvote once more before they commit to, "CA, I think you're a scumbag so much, even though you are claiming to have an obvious role that we probably don't want to reveal, I want you to claim it anyway before I move on to someone else. And here's my reason for thinking you're scum (or the copout: I agree with Macros, or: I am Macros*)." I'll claim if it's the only way to move on.

Speaking of moving on, I recommend that we move on to lynching sinister_bunny.

One last thing: I disapprove of a bandwagon that has been started solely becase someone defended me.

* No offense, Macros.

PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:

first person to cry about nightkills is usually scumbag.
Note that this is
Pooky's
only post. I've already gone over why I think this is garbage (I don't think using scum tells against experienced players makes any sense), and he hasn't weighed in sense I've hinted at a power role. The fact that this is his only post makes it seem more like he's lazy and doesn't want to think about day one (and I don't blame him; I do my best to get through day one without saying much no matter what my role is) than it suggests he's scum. Anyway, Pooky, please come in here and confirm your vote or unvote.

Strykker
put a random vote on me and then yelled at me for not claiming afterwards. He blames for not answering questions, but then, he never really asked me any. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to respond to this one. He believes I should be run up just so I have to claim. I ask him why it should be
me
that has to claim first rather than someone else. The cruz of his argument seems to be "CA doesn't want to claim at 8 votes, so he's scum."

Macros
bandwagoned me just to bandwagon, or at least not for any "new reasons." He then misinterpreted my second post as me saying that I was cleared, so he kept his vote on me. He thinks that I might be scum because it was a jumpy thing to say. I don't think it was a jumpy thing to say.

PeaceBringer
did not give a reason for voting for me. This is not uncommon for PeaceBringer.

Smilax765
did not give a reason for voting for me either, but he was nice enough to say, "If you want to know, please ask." So I'll ask. Smilax765, please tell me why you are voting for me (if there is any reason beyond your second post). You're telling me that my posts have
seemed
like a defense. Is the fact that people might be misinterpreting my posts a good reason to lynch me, or does it just
seem
like a good reason to lynch me. I need to know why I'm being bandwagoned in the first place if I can respond to it. And no, I wouldn't guess there's a reviver role in the game, but it's possible. If there is a one-shot revival possibility, or an ability that speaks to dead people, or whatever, the reviver/death speaker can decide which cop to revive or talk to. They have a better chance of getting the information that they want if they know Iammars investigated me. It's not worthless information to the town, and I can't think of any reason why a scum would say it.

I can understand your suspicion, but it's not really based on anything
logical
. Instead, it's more along the lines of: "I wouldn't do/say what CA did/said, so that makes him scum." I promise you I will do and say more things that you might not do or say.

bigbenwd
says that he doesn't like my half-claim, where I say I have a good role / obvious role, but I won't say what it is. First of all, you need to give me a reason why I should I have to claim in the first place. Second, I didn't "look" for my role, as you said. I have my role. Sooner or later, I can prove my role. And if I were scum, and it's obviously in the game, as it certainly is, I wouldn't be able to claim it without getting counterclaimed. So if you've got some real reason to want to see me claim, I can and will, and you'll all look silly.

I don't know why
SpamWise
is voting for me either, except for "I agree with Smilax765." SpamWise is getting daykilled anyway, right?
JechtMurray wrote:What's the real reason behind CA not being an option?
No one has given a good reason for me to be an option. Most of the people still voting for me have said, "I don't see any reason to unvote, so I might as well keep voting."

I've clearly been hinting that I have a power role. I'll even go so far to say I can confirm myself, perhaps as soon as day two, probably no later than day four. If I'm unable to clear myself by day five, I've played so badly that I won't care if you lynch me. That should be enough to confuse the scum and get the bandwagoners to move on. Is that a deal?

@Jecht - have you read sinister_bunny's post? You can probably do it pretty quickly; there's only one of them. I'll even post it for you:
sinister_bunny wrote:Sorry for not posting sooner, my moniter burned out.

Right now I think the only bandwagon worth going on is the CA one to try to force a role claim if anything.
That's why I voted for him. It wasn't a random vote or an investigation. If you had read it in the thread instead of just pulling up my posts (not your fault; my bad for not quoting his post in my post), you would have seen this.

It would be a miracle if all the people on my bandwagon aren't scum. We got to Jecht pretty fast (he was one of the more shameless CA voters), and I'm still pretty happy with my vote on him. But I'd be happy moving on to Strykker, Pooky, bigbenwd, or sinister_bunny. Also, one of cropcircles and lostprophet, but I don't remember which one, and this has taken enough time that I'm not going to try to remember.
inHim wrote:As for why CA not being an option. None of his posts really clue me in to scumminess.
I'm glad I'm not the only one.

@Smilax - You need to give me a reason why a scum would do what I did. It's not my responsibility to think of why a pro-town person would say Iammars investigated me. I did what I did, therefore a townie would do it. How would you answer me if I took one of your posts and said, "Explain why a pro-town player would say this." I'm pretty sure you're pro-town; you need to drop this and start finding real scum. Also, I think I gave reasons in my 13th post.

@Smilax - Please confirm that I roleblocked you last night so we can move on and lynch someone else. I don't like you having your vote on me. I feel that since there were so many nightkills last night and you weren't responsible for any of them, you probably aren't scum.

I am voting for mikeburnfire because I think he is second scummiest after Hez. I also wanted to see your reaction, and I believe that Hez sort of claimed. Now I think Hez is backtracking on it. I'll

Let's assume they're masons for a second. Masons lose their value once they're out and there's a cult in the game, since they're usually easy cult recruits. The cult recruiter probably went into this day knowing that DG and elvis_knits were either masons (or, they are part of the cult). I'd be willing to bet that the people who voted for DG aren't cult.

Now, if there's another mason group, now would be a good time for one of you to counterclaim. Then we off the badger crew.

I've got some rereading I've got to do, but I think this is a good plan.

I agree with this. I'm a big fan of trying to lynch roles that can either recruit or kill at night. The scum are probably very eager to lynch the masons over actual threats to the town. Who seems most eager to lynch masons... ?

Lynching DG is dumb. We can't stay ahead of cult recruitment, and both scum teams want her dead. Helping the scum out is really bad.

What are we doing tomorrow? Lynching the other mason?

I am also willing to bet that if DG is not recruited, the cult recruiter is on her lynch.

Lynching people that ALMOST ALL OF THE BAD GUYS WANT TO LYNCH is bad for the town. Just FYI.
