"Criticize the ideology of the bourgeoisie!"

It looks like all of our quotes are unique from each other, but we can draw lines that may connect some of them.

Sorry for the late first post, forgot about the game :)

Here's my theory on the game. We have Maoist and we have the people of China, however, It would be all too easy if everyone with a quote that's pro-Mao or pro-people of china is scum.

My guess is, there are some within roles within us that have taken the Mao way to a whole new level... like a cult, if you will. I'm thinking that's the "history" behind who's our scum.

Perhaps we should start analyzing the quotes and develop "groups"?

On the otherhand, the Mod could just be messing with us, and our quotes have no real purpose but to cause confusion and add flavor. There's also the possibility that people have faked their quotes to match others.

Shamrock- mlaker doesn't seem to be on your list. And I think it's helpful if you keep track of the master list of quotes, it's easier if one person organizes the information.

So with that, our List of lurkers narrows down to:

So Thok is stating that we have possibly 3 groups here? It's probable, with a game this large.

As for the quotes, the only two that seem to have the same quote are Glork and Vismajor. I agree that as of right now, we can't pull anything significant from it, but we should keep tabs just in case we can draw connections from quotes to roles later on in the game.
SoS wrote:I agree to the general consensus that the posting restrictions don't mean anything.
General consensus?

Tamuz, Glork, bacde, CES, and you are the ones who think the quotes are useless.

Tamuz: "Chairman Mao is the red sun in our hearts!"
Glork: "Follow Mao Zedong Thought!"
CES: "Long live Chairman Mao, the Great Helmsman!"

Look their quotes match! :?

Bacde and SoS have no quotes...

Why does everyone like to pick on twomz?

This is the third game now that Twomz under heavy fire from you bandwagoners.

Despicable I say, because he more than often (75%) turns out to be a townie.

Am i the only one who thinks Twomz hasn't committed any serious offenses? Sure he posts scummy, but he's obviously a vet so he knows what he's doing, despite how he sounds.

I think you're deluding yourself Y. To think that you have the game so easily is....

I'm in multiple games with Twomz, and I feel that he gets picked on unfairly every game. I've grown used to his "scummy posting", especially since I've been accused of it many times when I was a townie/pro-town.

What I see is Y trying to distance himself from anyone who says anything remotely scummy. He HAS stated that this is his first 12 person game, it wouldn't be too unbelievable that he's using the age old distancing-tactic on a larger scale.

As for accusing me of craplogic and irrevelant facts, It's called
metagaming
, and it's just as viable a skill as post by post analysis. I don't want to seem like I'm trying to save Twomz from a lynch, just that I think the town needs to reconsider Twomz because he's just the way he is.

I've been in 4 games with him, he's died in 3 of them, and revealing upon his death, he was townie, that's where i got my numbers. He claims 100%, I don't believe him and although it's true that each game is mutually exclusive and his chances of being scum are just as likely as any one of us, I would like to point out that Twomz play isn't different from his usual.

You're the only one pointing it out, Y.

Have you considered that scum may be laying low avoiding attention?

Why dont you focus your efforts on them instead of Twomz?

He's been trying to contribute and defend himself against all your bandwagoning, and it's gotten us nowhere.

I don't like the way you go about doing things Y. It seems to be a distancing tactic regardless, because you don't take any responsibility.

I do not support the Twomz Bandwagon, because many of us don't have opening quotes. If he were scum, It would've made no sense to make such a play. Sure he's been scummy here and there, but playing with Twomz has taught me that that's just how Twomz plays.

@Glork - I just wanted it somewhere.. and chamber's always a good place for it :)

However It's noted that bacde is against Twomz lynching.

I'm going to throw a
unvote, vote CES

My vote on CES is to leave a paper trail, and to note that I noticed scummy behaviour. Something to use if something surfaces in the future.

Here's the thing, will his claim save him?

If it does, then we're on a very bad lynch bandwagon.

He hasn't done anything super scummy, and although I'm a fan of just getting this day over with, is this the best move for town?

Just because we're deadlined, we shouldn't be stupidly voting just for anyone.

A no lynch is bad, but a bad-lynch is just as bad... Am i just being inept or can someone understand what i'm trying to say?

The current one on CES, someone explain to me why we're voting for him.

I'm thinking it's more likely that there were 2 parties of scum, possibly mason-style with one of them as a recruiter, and perhaps 3-4 SK's?

It's likely that the two parties are down to 2/3 recruits in each, which means we have plenty of wiggle room. Hopefully we can get scum to kill each other off.
