More defense of dram. For at least the second time, Benmage has used "attacking dram" as a primary impetus to in turn attack that player; this is a CLASSIC chainsaw defense. I mean, it's textbook worthy perfectly chainsaw.

I did a little lookup of dram... not very impressive. I've only really been in games he's modded. Looking quickly at:

: He's much more active an involved in this game. It does have his spam buddies so that might be a reason. Plus the mechanics is nightless, I think the entire game only lasted a week.

This is just the beginning of a long discussion in which Benmage repeatedly attacks Sir Bastion for not voting for dramonic when dramonic was a viable wagon. (Note: neither did Benmage.) This is the very first thing that stood out to me; I came to these reads by seeing we had a scumflip and immediately ISOing Benmage, since that is usually as illuminating as it was here.

Why would Benmage push St Bastion as scum for this? The whole exchange reads as if dramonic has

already flipped scum.

Of course, he has not. Benmage is reaching for anything to make Sir Bastion look bad, and my theory is that knowing Sir Bastion pushed a scum counterwagon but did not vote was too tempting for Benmage. He gave away his hand. He knew that lurkerpartner dramonic was likely to die at some point and his goal was to sully as many town members by association as possible, starting with us (Catfish) but most fully realized with Sir Bastion.

I'm really baffled at the amount of people still voting me. Despite the mechanics of the game adding up in my favor, I also feel like I've played pretty obviously townie game.

I know this is just me talking. But I don't think I push a mislynch on EC if I could've coasted one on dramonic(yes wine there cause dram could hypothetical be scum/a scum partner.. so that really only applies to his insight.... )

And this is the kicker, of course. Benmage realized he was about to die and that he'd incriminated his partner and injected a little WIFOM into the mix.

Benmage has several documented cases of chainsaw defense of dramonic.

His main mode of such defense was "pushing lurker lynches is scummy," and yet he magically forgets this when he pushes EC (town) as scummy for lurking, eventually leading to a mislynch.

Despite defending the crap out of dramonic, gives no actual read on him.

Makes several attempts to tie town players to dramonic as scum while not calling dramonic himself scum. Pushes counterwagon to dramonic while fencesitting on dramonic.

Hoppster and Sir Bastion get major townpoints from Benmage's flip; Duplicity, Oversoul, and Primate get minor townpoints (in order).

Dramonic himself has not only lurked, but played solely defensively and reactively; not only that, he actively declined to comment on the dueling cop situation when he posted in the middle of the debate.
