I refuse to believe there are this many investigative roles.

Staeg - Reck - Gay Cop
Nacho - UT - Straight Cop
Dybeck - Oprah - Gay investigator
Unknown - Orientation Revealer

Pretty sure there was another one somewhere. Didn't SRG claim an investigative role?

There's just no fucking way there's so many. Dybeck's is by far the most fishy, and Staeg's flip makes Nacho's more believable.

Why the fuck is there resistance to lynching Dybeck? Does anyone actually believe him?

Umbrage. Read this post.

No, seriously, read it.

Dybeck claimed Oprah, Gay Cop, then changed his claim when countered.
Staeg claimed Reckoner, Gay Cop, and flipped it.
Nacho claimed Untrod Tripod, Straight Cop. He has not been countered.
Nacho is telling the truth, and is therefore Town.

Also, judging from the lack of AIDS deaths, it appears to be some sort of status condition, rather than a kill/poison effect.

Additionally, Spyrex got AIDS the same night as I did. Probably a mod mistake, but they addressed it to both of us (rather than BCCing it).

Here's my setup spec regarding AIDS: There's a modified SK out there. They win when every living player has AIDS. They can infect two people per night. There's both a blocker (NS) and a healer (Shidaji).

The constant nagging for a case not based on flavor strikes me as incredibly scummy. It smacks of "Shit, I didn't think this bluff would be called! Panicked OMGUS, activate!"

Let's not have a repeat of the Aftermath, folks. I carry enough shame for that game, without making the same mistake of not confirming suspicious late-game Masons twice.

Kuribo, I may be an idiot on occasion, but I'm not a derp. The difference is in repeating your mistakes; I tend not to.

Both Jason and Ray have been coasting like mofos all game. I might buy it that they were trying to avoid notice to spring Masons late in the game, but they didn't indicate as such. They've simply been laying low without really good reason.

Lol, there are still people calling DGB scum. Yeah, because it's a good idea to counter fake claim real Masons. I don't know whether she's for real or not (I'd usually think lolgambit, but that claim looks excellent and in line with flavor, and she immediately called shenanigans on Mason claims) but it's definitely not scum. Way too risky, especially as she might be forced to out one of her buddies

Ray today, Jason tomorrow. Should put us one away from eliminating Mafia

PE: "Fuck all information?" Her claim was immediately full, and was based on two famous gays. Unlike yours, which was belabored and nondescript

Hey, Ray just slipped. Read it again.

His insistent framing of DGB's claim as 2v1 gives it away. Let's pretend for a sec. Pretend Ray/Jason are for real. How would that result in "Remov[ing] two conf-towns, lose one scum"? AT BEST for DGB, she takes out one Mason, and the other is inviolable, in exchange for her getting lynched. Not a fair trade at all.

But no, Ray knows that if he and Jason fail, it's both their asses. For them, it IS 2v1

It makes sense to get DGB's hypo-partner UNLESS we decide to lynch her. But we need it if we're going to lynch Ray. Scum already have auto-kill targets even without the townDGB's mason partner (Nacho, me), so the harm in advertising it is limited AFAICT.

Okay,
this

Okay. Seven left. If it's 4:2:1, we lynch kuribo, that makes it 4:2, we go straight to LyLo tomorrow with 3:2. If it's 5:1:1, we're in better shape with 4:1 tomorrow. Started with 17, but with an unusual third party, kind of hard to guess the starting number of scum.

I'm pretty sure Spy, NS, and Icerink are Town.

What are you smoking? I didn't want Nacho dead much longer after he claimed, and not at all after Staeg flipped, and the way dybeck and Staeg claimed sounded in conflict. Imagine you're an investigative role and THREE other people claim investigator in a 17-player game. You'd think that was ridiculously investigation heavy too. So fuck off, pull back confirmation bias, and evaluate it objectively. That's WHY I claimed, because we may be in MyLo and I want you to have plenty of warning.

The role's existence isn't really debateable. It's revealed someone's orientation every day.

Oh, and last name is Levin. Harvey Levin. Had to check the PM again, I've never heard of him before

See, but he can't win as long as there's a Townie we can protect with NS's condoms. So we take out Kats first, with kuribo rendered impotent (ha!) Meanwhile, he still counts against scum for their required ratio to win*. Take out Kats first.

*7 alive right now. It's either 4:2:1 or 5:1:1. However, from the Mafia's perspective, it's either 2:5 or 1:6. We kill kuribo now, and it's 2:4/1:5 after lynch, 2:3/1:4 after NK. If we hold onto Kuribo, he's a placeholder for a Townie against Mafia. This SuperAIDS shenanigans is an unknown variable, but we're better off hedging our bets against the more threatening faction.

That's reasonable. Super-AIDS shenanigans kind of negates the reason to favor putting him off until tomorrow, making it pretty irrelevant which goes first.

There's also the possibility that Super-AIDS is halted by kuribo's death.

DGB claimed Mason with Kuribo. Icerink claimed to have targeted Kats N5, but there was the chance he'd been roleblocked or other shenanigans. My successful action is evidenced right in the Mod's day opener. Ergo, PGO claim is crap. With four left, and third party gone from the game, the Town/scum ratio is 3:1. Katsuki is the last mafioso

You can't possibly tell me that Town would stick by a gambit fakeclaim that was proven wrong by now-confirmed Town. Town would hve admitted their gambit on the spot. Katsuki didn't; it stuck by its claim even more tenaciously.

You win the gullibility crown.

Why are you protecting Katsuki? My role is clear, proven, and un-CC'd. It supports the Cops and provides no benefit to any known scum roles. You said yourself that you have Spy as confTown. You're obviously Town, as you'd have gleefully hammered if you were scum and Kats Town.

So what's the fucking holdup?

So what's the fucking holdup?

Your role is clear, proven, un-CC'd and IMO completely void of alignment indicator since we lack any form of information on how the scum's actions/kills function exactly. Also I could be careful scum trying to not get shot back in the face by a vengeful townie for all you know, it's not like anything about me has been put in the open?

I want to discuss with SpyreX as to the proper approach, I'm not particularely comfortable with assuming you're town and assuming kats is scum in mylo.
Also I need shit clarified with our mods.

So hold your fucking horses.

Okay, let's have an exercise in logic, shall we?

From your perspective, you are Town. Stop me if I'm going too far.

You have claimed to know that Spyrex is Town. Stop me if I'm going too far.

Therefore, the last scum is either Katsuki or I. Stop me if I'm going too far.

Katsuki has been proven a liar not once, but twice. Stop me if I'm going too far.

The function of my role, that of publicly revealing one person's orientation per night, is not disputable. Stop me if I'm going too far.

This function helps the two, maybe three, flipped Town investigators perform their job. Stop me if I'm going too far.

No flipped scum roles benefit from my ability. Stop me if I'm going too far.

If I were the last scum, then the scumteam was Gay Godfather, Bisexual Roleblocker, Gay Orientation-Revealer. Stop me if I'm going too far.

The above set does not include anything that benefits from my ability. Stop me if I'm going too far.

In the above set, my ability is actually counter-productive for my team. Stop me if I'm going too far.

In the above set, the orientations are Bi-Gay-Gay, which makes the two Town Cops unequal in power. Stop me if I'm going too far.

Katsuki was revealed as straight at day start. Stop me if I'm going too far.

Katsuki as the last scum member makes the scum orientations Bi-Gay-Straight. Stop me if I'm going too far.

That makes the Cops balanced against each other in power. Stop me if I'm going too far.

Katsuki has done absolutely nothing this game that wasn't directly related to its own agenda. Stop me if I'm going too far.

My nameclaim is among the most pro-Gay-agenda people in the world. Stop me if I'm going too far.

Katsuki has failed to nameclaim. Stop me if I'm going too far.

Therefore, when having to choose between Katsuki (an orientation-balanced, selfishly-motivated, evasive, twice-proven liar) and myself (orientation imbalanced as scum, anti-scum ability, pro-Gay nameclaim) the only logical deduction is that Katsuki is the final scum, and it's time to end the game with a Town win.

-----

One final logical argument:

Why would I, the last scum, use an active ability on a claimed PGO? If I were wrong, that would be end-of-game for my faction.

Stop me if I'm going too far.

Scum would have won if there were two left. Third party won and left the game. Ergo, one scum left, and we just lynched it.

Even if there was some non-Town left, there's only three players left. One night kill would make endgame.

Jesus, that Mafia QT is long. The Mafia team was made of the stuff dreams are made out of. I have NO idea, however, what could possibly have possessed you to counterclaim the Masons. The likelihood of two sets of Masons was so low, you were just begging to be strung up, no questions asked. The WIFOM just could not have been worth it.

Also, fuck you, dead QT haters.

To be fair, they requested their mason fakeclaim before they knew there was already a set of masons in the game.

Yeah, but to actuallyuse it once actual Masons claimed is crazy. Win lose or draw on that particular day, that's not a wise long-term move unless it's LyLo or MyLo.

And I
THOUGHT
DGB was trying to get me to claim Masons with her, to back her play as it were. I just assumed it was a gambit. She tried to do something similar to that a day or two into the Aftermath, and someone (I forget who) actually did back her play.

At that point, I was believing DGB, but was hedging my bets. With conflicting Mason claims, we had two scum, period. I wasn't going to substitute in. Like I said, I was believing DGB, but wasn't going to take the shot for her partner if she was lying. Hence why I issued a flat denial that I was her buddy, and backed the demand that Kuribo lock himself into the claim.

You were in no way confirmed. No one, not even me, one of the only Townies who thought you might be Town, thought you were confirmed. Any delusions of you being confirmed were pathetic figments of your self-aggrandizing imagination. Stop grandstanding, you unmitigated tool.

By that logic, scum would never claim Miller, either, so anyone who claimed it is by nature confirmed Town.

And yet, people do.

Umbrage, you seem to have difficulty understanding the meanings of some words. You use the word "confirmed" when you should use "probably" or even just "maybe". You use "never" or "always" when you really mean "rarely" or "usually". Work on that, k?

Much more pressing is the inexplicable hubris, though. Adults admit their mistakes, take responsibility for them, accept the suggestions and advice of their peers, and grow from experiences like this. It's why people are happy to play again with someone like myself, despite my admittedly subpar Town game, and you get blacklisted for your dickishness.

Alternatively, he read a good game, then noticed that one of the players was being a complete jackass and replied.

The likelihood that Ythan is

you is nonexistent, and the fact that you apparently believe that idea fervently suggests some serious paranoid delusions.
