I've explained why F-16's CC doesn't make sense as scum. I get that it's maybe something a you or kuribo would do, but I don't think F-16 cheeses like that as scum. Desp and I had no reason to CC Katsuki yesterday if we were scum. If we were scum, we'd have gotten the same net result, if not a better net result, by letting it play out without interference. There was 0 scum motivation for getting involved there, unless you want to argue that we really just wanted infinite town creed for getting involved in something that was an objectively bad move for scum.

VCA isn't fully done, but what I have so far in terms of high-level analysis:

Scum didn't move together as a unit day 1. Like, it's literally impossible from my POV given the set of claims for scum to have been moving in lockstep with any more than 2 at a time. It took forever for wagons to form, and wagons were very unstable, which indicates that scum were likely misdirecting behind a lot of loud town voices.

That VC I posted is interesting b/c of the p5 wagon. If you assume p5 town b/c of the vig claim, then you have all potential scum candidates split between two wagons, with only you not voting at all.

Scum knew that this town was imploding.

They went ahead and let it happen.

The question is how they used their votes to facilitate that process.

Just a heads up – I graduate on Sunday, family's in town yada yada. Participation until Monday is gonna be meh at best. Dunno what Desp is up to – we resync'd a few days ago and are on the same page, but I haven't gotten into his head about the RG/FoxHound situation.

I have a few thoughts in my head about what's going on, but I'd rather hold off on ending the day phase until after I can run a full breakdown of position/interest given all possible alignment combinations.

I was starting to get paranoid that Beli was a godfather, but scum cleared that one up for me. At this point, it's a question of whether:

1) The veracity of my assumption that you aren't a godfather to me/Desp.

2) The veracity of my assumption on CF (FoxHound's investigative results point towards CF being town, I think, based on the vanilla goon PM in the first post).

3) Whether RG/Foxhound is scum theatre.

4) Whether CF's read on Tammy is right.

I think penguin's pretty much just scum at this point. I never liked Clyton's posting much, and penguin's done stuff that's only made me more suspect (in particular, how she interacted with Tammy about my alignment looked a fair bit like white-knighting). Additionally, for penguin to be town, if you're not a godfather of some sort, FoxHound/RG would have to have decided to scum theatre from a relatively strong position (magenta lynch was going to happen, and penguin's in a much weaker position than Tammy). It wouldn't make sense to make that sort of move there.

I'm leaning towards it being RG/Foxhound scum theatre over Tammy being scum at this point. I've thought Tammy was town at more points in the game than FoxHound/RG. RG's been pretty scummy for a while, and him pushing a bus on Nacho for a long time seems like the sort of play Nacho would set up. Also, there's the fact that the day 1 positionality put Tammy in the center of just about everything with FoxHound buddying it hardcore in a way that looks suspect.

What was that one role that Cf kept referring to in the other game? Something about a Godfather that can look like whatever it wants?

Is it possible there is a role in the game that could change what its rolename would appear as? CF seemed awfully adamant about something along those lines existing.

Empking had a rolecop godfather in U-pick, but that was b/c that setup was built around town having 3 rolecops.

I think this setup would have a straight-up godfather over that. It would also seem weird that he'd choose something like a miller to fake over, like, anything else.

Yes except the underlined is exactly what would make it a viable option? Magenta still got lynched, no one showed any interest in voting either of them.

But it put them under more pressure today. Scum think about the game more long-term; taking a play with an immediate short-term game at a long-term cost at a juncture when a win would almost be guaranteed would be really bizarre decision making.

The part you quoted is referential to the penguin-town hypothetical. I'm saying that making that play wouldn't make sense in that gamestate because penguin town implies tammy-scum, and going for a moderate to high-risk play with another viable and relatively easy to achieve mislynch on the table would be dumb.

We didn't talk to much. I had graduation yesterday and was largely absent from the thread. What you've just posted is a pretty compelling argument against the second case, but what about the first and third? Does the information provided say that either of those aren't possible? I'm arguing that the Scum/Scum instance is most likely.
