There were some early posts that I thought were genuine but they were too few and far between. Since D2, all he has done is lurk and coast through the game.

Okay, first off let's lay out all the possible scumteams. You (Singer) are conftown, we can only be scum with Arthur or else we would have hammered him, and Feu can only be scum with PN or else they would have hammered him. That also leaves Arthur/PN as possible scum that are cross bussing. So overall, three possibilities:

1) PN/Arthur
2) Feu/PN
3) Sugoku/Arthur

PN is confscum to me since I have my vote on him and there's been no hammer. I'm not sure whether his buddy is Arthur or Feu. Regardless, I do want to lynch him first for strategic reasons as well as for being confscum.

The first vote I cast is LYLO was on you which I immediately unvoted. My initial thoughts was that you were just coasting through the game as well as the LYLO without really pushing to see who is scum and you've only started doing that now after you've been confirmed. It was partly gut as well and partly the fact that Pie and I had the team narrowed down to {Singer, Arthur}. Clearly, we were wrong but at that time, I anticipated visiting my family today (which got delayed so I have time). I didn't really have time to read the entire game again and made what I thought was the best decision. You were uninvested in the game and hadn't read ~100 pages so I didn't feel overly worried about losing the game although I did believe that you were most likely scum at that point. Had this not been a quickness game/had it gone on longer/or if I was dealing with someone emotionally invested in the game, I'd have exercised more caution. But I immediately took it back because it didn't feel right.

The next vote I cast was on Arthur which I took back because I didn't want to screw up without talking to Pieguy first. Arthur's posts felt manipulative to me and it felt like he was trying to make me feel like I had to read him correctly when I don't have an awesome track record at all. I'm still not sure he is town but he is the one player I feel has been making sense this game and playing well whereas Feu's posts have just been frustrating lately as well as the things that they've been passing off for scumhunting.

The final vote, the one I made with no intention or retracting was on PN. I was pretty sure Bert was scum based on how he disengaged from the game. When PN showed up and didn't vote Arthur even though from their POV, Arthur should be confirmed scum, it set off alarm bells. I re-read Bert's ISO to see why I had an initial townread on him D1 and realized that it was pretty weak.

From D2 on, Bert has barely done anything at all that was a genuine effort to figure out the game. Just ISO him to see what I mean. He doesn't have any reads that he is developing. He isn't questioning players and overall has a complete lack of interest in solving the game. This is compounded by the fact that Bert is posting in other games abundantly. He is also posting up a storm in site chat. I've played with Bert before and he is one of those players that prefers playing town to scum and tends to disengage from the game as scum. He's been plenty disengaged the entire later part of the game. One of the reasons I haven't gone after him earlier was that Mollie hydras with Bert and was so sure that he was town earlier in the game and I wanted to give him that space. As the game went on though, it became increasingly obvious to me that this is Bert's scumgame.

The final nail was how he reacted to suspicion from me both earlier and today. When Bert gets voted, he gets overly paranoid. This is especially true when I suspect Bert and Bert thinks I am at least pretty decent at this game. His response was muted. I felt some of it was genuine but wasn't sure. Today though, when PN started posting, their posts were the most empty ones in the game. This includes the two posts I quoted above where SXTLHGaiden just trolls about self-hammering. There is zero effort to push the lynches of either us or Arthur both of whom should be confscum to him. He plopped down a vote on Arthur and that was the extent of his contribution. Both heads have checked out and for Bert, being as disengaged as he is, points to him being scum.

I am going to head but @ Singer, let me lay this out very clearly so there is no ambiguity.

If you lynch Arthur, there is a 90% chance from my POV that you are losing the game for town regardless of Arthur's actual affiliation.

Let's say Arthur flips town -> We lose.

Let's say Arthur flips scum -> You die tonight leaving me/PN/Feu. We vote PN and force them to crossvote. Feu will most likely vote us over PN. This is why I don't trust them to win the game for town. Arthur's flip doesn't matter to me at this point. Even in the scenario where Arthur is scum, voting him is as good as a gamethrow from my POV.

On the other hand, I am not going into LYLO with any pre-concieved notions. Once we lynch obvscum PN and you die, we are left with Sugoku/Arthur/Feu. We'd be conftown for not hammering Arthur and once Arthur and Feu cross vote, we'll take our time making the decision. This is what I meant when I said that we should lynch PN first for strategic purposes. Because I don't trust Feu to make a logical decision if they are town. If they are scum, well. We'd lose right when you hammer Arthur.

But I do have the game winning strategy and I went over it with Pie and it is pretty obvious here that is our best shot at winning. PN scumclaimed. I don't know how better to put this to you. You've been playing mafia long enough to know that annoyance and impatience aren't scumtells or even alignment indicative. That's more of playstyle/personality stuff.

You are going about this the wrong way. We aren't getting lynched today. Our alignment doesn't even matter. There are two choices for a lynch on the table: PN and Arthur. Evaluate their posting, compare them and try and make your decision.

It is unreasonable. If I thought you'd genuinely evaluate it and see where I'm coming from, I probably wouldn't mind but I don't think that's what you are going to do so I won't. You don't even need to know the answer. But if you want to, ISO me and check it out one of the first four times that I answered it.

I obviously have no idea why exactly Slandaar copped us. I speculated on it a couple of times though which again you'll know if you ISO me.
