Yeah but that happened four days ago. Why was Marquis still so against that idea? A lot has happened since then, and knowing that a lot of my doubt of your alignment may or may not have been subsided by allowing me to see what gave them such a town read on you. Denying me of that is forcing me to take the word of yet another one of my current scum reads.

Though Desperado ironically being recruited into both after Sugoku specifically said they preferred not to cross recruit means that I might be able to trust someone else.

Though in hindsight, it's seems kind of silly to not want to cross recruit because that only meant they had more information than anyone else in the game... that's very heavily scum motivated...

Yeah I didn't actually realize that was an option until Sugoku suggested asking of you would recruit me and by that point I figured it was more beneficial for me to town read you than you to town read me? I hate feeling manipulated and even more so when I don't really have a choice about it (since I didn't choose them to be in the neighborhood).

Oh, I wanted to recruit two people I knew irl to see if it would make a difference in how I might read them in the game. Having a town read on Desperado honestly didn't have much to do with it since I didn't have one, yet.

Recruiting you to our neighborhood also wouldn't allow me to see what Sugoku thinks is so town about you. The option for solo interaction with you is unnecessary when I can just get it in game and allow everyone to see it. To suggest that I would need it now to better my town read on you is scummy in it of itself.

My point about AtE was that it was completely unnecessary as a hydra to give us any explanation. He said he didn't want to replace out but if beast kept going who cares? Apologize to your hydra partner not us. It felt like a really contrived way to make us more sympathetic to his pressure/stress.

I asked if anyone had put thought into it and even commented that I wanted to find out why Juls was voting them (not sure if that particular thought was in thread or the neighborhood, though). I looked at everything she commented on and tried to figure out if she was just speculating on game design or legitimately thought they were scum.

I certainly didn't give an ultimatum because it's entirely possible he did two town neighborizors to balance the unknown.

All of you (including two confirmed scum) were active during that time WITH DAYTALK. The whole thing feels staged to me. With knowing that he wouldn't get a result (there was a votecount at the time), and the potential for towncred.

Just like when you asked "if not [forget who] will you vote singer?" Trying to get people to agree to lynch me before you committed for the win. This also could've been to let SAD know who to be around to vote for if it came down to timing.

For the record, this aggressive behavior and hastiness looks incredibly feigned and like you don't actually care about me making "the right choice." Your attitude is what's making me focus on you now so if you really are scum and lose because of this, gg, don't be a dick to the person deciding your fate.

I still don't even know how a reputation for town-telling got started from one game... I guess that's been sitting I'll with me the whole time. Not much to say about PN since I don't really know anything about them. I tend to get apathetic when I don't feel like my play has an outcome on the game so it wasn't really a scum tell for me. Also still don't know what the "slip" was.

I don't really want to get into a discussion about how I felt like I was being goaded into making a premature decision while on vacation, so I'll just leave the last few pages at that. I accept Sugoku's apology and hope we can move on from here.

I read the last few pages in the dead thread and now I'm really embarrassed I didn't have more patience. You all had such confidence that I would make the right decision in the end, but I didn't. I've been phone posting and trying to keep up and read arguments, but I must've glossed over SAD's post in the crossfire. I'm kicking myself for not really being the kind of person to hold my own in games. That singer is few and far between, and certainly hasn't shown up for a few years because I've fallen off the mafia scene. I misjudged the kind of game I was replacing into and wish I didn't allow myself to get overwhelmed. Thank you all for letting me play and dealing with the loss in a mature manner instead of calling for my blood. After reading the dead thread I certainly feel a lot more guilty for making a rash decision, but hopefully everyone can find some closure in this.

@Falcon...I completely understand getting upset and impatient in lylo, and I'm not gunna lie, it clouded my judgement a bit (a lot obviously), but you had completely justified concerns, and I'm sure you weren't happy about me being the one to make the final decision. I wish I had done an official V/LA sooner, but like I said, I expected the game to be over by now and just didn't think it through. I appreciate the apology and hope we can both learn from our mistakes.

I guess I really just wanted to apologize for being underwhelming and hope I get my mafia chops back up to par...and maybe make better choices with which games I agree to replace into, lol.
