OH, right right right. I misread the author's name as d9p. Huh, so that IS you. Wow, I always wanted to meet someone like that...CaptainBlicero wrote:

so that I can lynch him and beat him with sticks or be lynched and beaten with sticks by him. Either way.Holy crap, I forgot this site existed.

Well, I might as well make a choice here. Perhaps this is just me venting from the time I was lynched for forgetting I was in a game (a mistake I will never ever make again), but I'm going tovote: indentureddjinn. Partially in the spirit of the game moving along, and partially because laziness = bad in mafia games.Holy crap, I forgot this site existed.

I bet the hound can only hit every other night or something (good observation, CB). But then they would suck. They must have some sort of plus side to them, or else they would have no chance against the Moriarty mafia, who kill every night.
Any thoughts?Holy crap, I forgot this site existed.

I have to agree that Arminger's playing style isn't a good reason to lynch you, but I think the point was more that we found Arminger suspicious before, partially, perhaps, due to the way he was acting in contrast to the way he usually acts.vote: UT

Sorry, sorry. I've been busy this week due to finals, and the only time I checked up on mafiascum this week, I only looked at Alphabet. I didn't notice it was day yet here, mainly because the night *did* last 11 days. That sort of thing throws me off in these games (check any other games where there was a night over 7 days in length I was in. Don't even start to say it's scum-like behavior) Been in a rush and all, but on the bright side, I think I may have scraped a C in World Civ.
That said, thanks for the poke, LM. I'm not *really* sure what the logic behind the bandwagon is, but I'll come out and claim anyways. I'd appreciate some logic other than the lurker thing, though.
I am Sir William of Bakersfield's personal bodyguard. If he was targetted at night, I would die instead. On the downside, the group that targetted him would know that he was Sir William after that night (for obvious reasons). However, the idea (I think) was that a doc would pop out somewhere and protect him. I get bonus points if he survives the whole game, regardless of whether or not I survive. If we BOTH survive, I assume massive bonus points come my way.Holy crap, I forgot this site existed.

If I had ANY knowledge of Holmes at all, I would've kicked some butt. Seriously. Did you purposely give all the evil roles to people who had never read Holmes books?
By the way, can anyone (good or evil) think of a role I could have claimed in retrospect?
Still, being the last man standing was cool. Although... apologies to Meme for killing you. You put on a good show. I was sure you were some pro-town special role in whose death I would benefit.Holy crap, I forgot this site existed.

Hah, sorry about that. I wasn't trying to be cruel. I actually was feeling the game was kind of hopeless for me the last night, when I killed you. I was *sort of* trying to kill the mafia, for fear that you would kill me sooner or later. On the other hand, I knew if I DID hit Moriarty (which I did ) then I would be screwed. What were there, 11 people left after my lynching? Also, thanks for the 3 points even though I was lynched 8)...I don't think I'veeverbeen sadder to read my name in the morning death scene.
For my roleclaim, I was thinking about BSing my roleclaim as being Mr. Stapleton, but that I became a vigilante once Sir William was dead. Is that vaguely plausible? After all, look at my kills:
1) Blessington, Nurse
*Stapleton dies*
3) Watson, doc, shot and hounded at the same time. (I could come up with an excuse )
5) Harry Sutton, Mafia
7) Moriarty, GodfatherHoly crap, I forgot this site existed.

...and the hound mafia, who was completely useless, had no way of actually surviving the game. I'm glad the Morans hit Sir William and all, but I feel like there was no real way of actually surviving the game and "winning" by ordinary mafia standards. Still, I got the "alive" points, so I'm not complaining. As to the story itself, everything depended on the Moran family sending signals to Moriarty early on. Had this taken place, the Moran mafia would have been formidable, and Moriarty, protected by his thugs, could really have devastated the Town.Holy crap, I forgot this site existed.
