Erm no. In this game, it is almost necessary for millers to claim in their opening posts. In other games, I agree with TTH. Probably better to just take the hit if the cop happens to investigate you.

So...you're intentionally doing something you think is anti-town, voting for someone you think is town, because you're afraid of how it'll look if you change it. You could unvote right now, or you could have moved your vote to someone else if you're rather, and you're not.

That itself is scummy. Scum worry more about how they look then about doing the right thing for town.

I think you're being too hard on Triforce here. Triforce being so open about his own introspection and feeling scummy hits home with me so much. I feel that way in a lot of games.
Also, what do you mean by this rvs bit? RVS does not strictly mean "no reason attached". It generally means a weak or lazy reason.

Also, if you really think that the "third or fourth" miller to claim is more likely scum, then why didn't you vote for them in the first place? The same reasoning that you're now using to say Kindness is probably town already existed when you voted Kindness in the first place, and so is the same reasoning you're now using for this.

I do agree this inconsistency is troubling. Disconnect between intentions/vote.
