I don't think that this is true; if Katsuki planned on game throwing based on a personal grudge (or wanted to policy lynch because he thought having you alive decreased chances of town winning), I'm fairly sure that he would have taken some public digs at you by now. If you're referring to this because of AFB, I think that he hates you less than you think he does.

Reads are generally influenced by personal opinion, though. Players eventually get default-reads associated with them.

It's very rare that someone articulates an early scumread of you, kuribo, fferyllt, etc. Early scum reading me is par for the course for a very large number of players.

If Nacho is scum, scum are voting to lynch a strong partner, or lynch elsewhere. If Nacho is town, scum are voting to be accountable for a town death, or voting to be non-accountable. In both cases, scum want to be on the Fate wagon (or at least off-wagon). Secondly, that game was a long time ago and my big mistake was trying to listen to the idiotic lurkmass around me and shooting for them instead of listening to my own reads (which would have resulted in Zdenek's, Jordan's, and Hiplop's deaths). I've decided to believe in myself more and my scumhunting has significantly improved in the last few games I've played.

I'm already voting for Fate. I found his platform to be very reasonable (although now that it's been made clear that half of his platform doesn't matter considering the day ends once a King is elected, I'm reconsidering my stance). But I really like the 'I will take the popular opinion into consideration but will lynch based on my own opinions.' He's taking accountability and I would never vote for a puppet.

I mean, you said the benefit of this yourself. It's following the town consensus. It essentially allows us to turn this into a regular game of mafia which eliminates the possibility of scum being elected king and killing in ways beneficial to scum and then weaseling their way out of the consequences.

Okay. I'm not sure what it is you're trying to say here. But I think both scenarios I mentioned involve meeting a town consensus. The second one doesn't hold the king accountable (except in determining whether he will vote outside of his own reads to meet the demand of the majority or risk doing his own thing).

This entire opening is super empty. 0 attempt at scum hunting, but a lot of noise about how to approach king-electing. I've previously talked about empty theory talk is a good way to look engaged for scum without actually driving the game forward in a meaningful way. Brian's stance is also really weird and unstable (it's hard to get a sense walking away how much Brian wants kings to declare a target while running vs. after, and how much accountability that person should have versus the town that elects the king).

Terrible response to hiplop's post. Asking a somewhat diplomatic question like that when someone you're scumreading calls your reads terrible screams "I don't want to make enemies."

I was ignoring Hiplop early on because I know he sometimes looks like lynchbait. But him asking to be King when he hasn't done anything worthy of being voted King raises my eyebrows and I think he's probably worried he's going to be lynched. He hasn't really stated a strong case on scumreading anyone and I don't see him as a serious candidate of being voted King today (mostly because I don't think he's done anything particularly townish and there are many other players in this game who will be considered before he would). It feels like he's doing it specifically to avoid death.

I didn't like Bro's entrance. He discredited Kats and most of the basis I've seen from him is based on some outside feud that seems to only exist for Bro. His support for fate felt mostly like pandering. I also felt that I can kinda see why other people suspect me, whereas he's mostly latched onto the idea that I've only focused on setup theory, which isn't the case as I've been looking for people's mindsets regarding the current setup, jabbed at Camn's early reads, and pressed Kats for his preferred lynches early on. I don't know if he just views me as an easy lynch or was just glazing over my posts. I also haven't really seen anything in his posting to make me think he's town.

His stance on hiplop doesn't make sense, given that hiplop was never really on the table to be killed. Also, the idea that scum-hiplop would behave in the way he hypothesizes is really bizarre - hiplop's kind of trolly, but he's not dumb (despite him playing up a schtick that causes people to think that).
