The issue I'm having with Brian is that everything he's posted so far is the "theory to look engaged but not really alignment-indicative" stuff that I post as scum. If Brian did some scumhunting with that, it would be fine, but being 100% in theory land is bad.In post 367, Kagami wrote:I think skybird and implosion are more likely scum than brian.

Because reads are influenced by personal relationships, and the fact of the matter is that, to my recollection, you've never townread me. That's almost definitely tied to the fact that we don't get along. In post 375, Katsuki wrote:

Those personal reasons being that we've never had an interaction in any game or outside of a game that was positive, and the majority have been to some degree toxic.-

YOU were the one who helped the entire scumteam with my lynch. In post 378, BROseidon wrote:

I can't think of a game where I've scumread you as town.
As for our interactions, you were toxic in general in Always On, which the vast majority of players agreed on. As for Tales of You, I can't remember that game anymore because I lurked through the entire game until I came out with my role results as it directly contradicted scumAP's claim, but DESPBROS couldn't understand the existance of godfathers in the game so.
Not sure what interactions we've had outside of the game but meh.
And your results in Tales of You were because you were role blocked, and if you hadn't lied about being confirmed not to have been blocked, you wouldn't have gotten lynched.
My point generally still stands unless I'm just wrong about you not liking me, though (which I don't think I am)-

I like it more too, but, like, it's really bizarre that it hasn't happened. Yeah I feel like have to address this b/c it's pretty terrible:In post 714, Brian Skies wrote:I didn't like Bro's entrance. He discredited Kats and most of the basis I've seen from him is based on some outside feud that seems to only exist for Bro. His support for fate felt mostly like pandering. I also felt that I can kinda see why other people suspect me, whereas he's mostly latched onto the idea that I've only focused on setup theory, which isn't the case as I've been looking for people's mindsets regarding the current setup, jabbed at Camn's early reads, and pressed Kats for his preferred lynches early on. I don't know if he just views me as an easy lynch or was just glazing over my posts. I also haven't really seen anything in his posting to make me think he's town.
1) It wasn't a discredit - it's me being honest. I don't see a world where Katsuki doesn't shoot me first. If people are fine with that, they can vote for him.
2) My support for Fate has to do with who, as town, has the best relative reads day 1. Fate's really, really fucking good, especially early on.
3) I was the first person, IIRC, to bring up the "holy fuck he's literally only talked about setup theory." I've also only mentioned that at points where it was true. It's no longer true at this point.-

Okay, time to restart this tiff a bit.G[o wrote:dz post_id=7941300 time=1464049711 user_id=15399 post_num=1008]I've had a look at some of the games referenced in this. I skimmed over this "Tales" game that you say Kastuki dislikes you for. I think you calling someone else an idiot is a little hypocritical, but I'm an idiot, so what would I know?
The reason that I'm calling you an idiot, and think that you have to be if you aren't scum, is how you've treated my interactions vs. other players. With a lot of what I said day 1, it was highly contextual meta circle jerk around this player base, and you immediately were like, "OMG I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT BRO IS DOING KINDA SCUMMY." When I say, "you're clearly missing context," your response was "lolk"
Meanwhile, you've straight-up admitted to metaing other players, specifically SirCakez. I could dig through your ISO and point out every other statement of "I'm reading this person's past games in a meaningful way," although I can't recall off the top of my head if any exist other than SirCakez (I'll look into it later, since it's probably useful).
So, why the asymmetric treatment and lack of intellectual rigor if you're town?-

wdyt of hippo?
The issue is that, both here and in f2f, you provide very little content. I don't read off of body language in f2f or individual posts in forum mafia - I try to tap into the narrative of the scum team and use that to track who they are. It's hard to do that with someone who just doesn't attach themselves to the story of the game in a meaningful way, especially without meta context to fall back on.-

The reason the wagon sprung up is that Nacho was really obviously scum, and got by day 1 largely because he's Nacho and people don't like killing Nacho early, even when he's REALLY FUCKING OBVIOUSLY scum.-

Hint: It's because Fate deserves a shot.In post 1127, Kagami wrote:Before the spiffeh wagon, katsuki, votes in this game meant nothing. The kings were just going to kill some random scummy-ish person, who even if scum, the scumteam probably wouldn't feel too sad losing. They would vote for whoever and pretend to do things knowing that there was no accountability.
The spiffeh wagon has direction and meaning. A vote for spiff is a vote for nacho's death. Unlike a normal game, however, there remained an alternative of voting for non-accountability.
If Nacho is scum, scum are voting to lynch a strong partner, or lynch elsewhere. If Nacho is town, scum are voting to be accountable for a town death, or voting to be non-accountable. In both cases, scum want to be on the Fate wagon (or at least off-wagon). This is also why I find it more than a little odd that Fate is calling out the Nacho wagon for being scummy, when there is little incentive for scum to be on it.-
