Heh, too true, hey? Don't worry, I'll try to be a little more active than Nanook has been. I'm aware that's not difficult... but still.

Okay, I've been keeping up since about page 32, and I have to admit, I'm not quite sure what to think of the Zindaras vs. The Fonz case. Obviously, I'd love to side with the Fonz, but he could be scum.

And I think it's more likely that he's scum than Zindaras. I don't think the voting thing is that big of a deal, it could have been easily explained and dropped. However, he continues to fight the case, partially because other people bring it up, but I think if he didn't want to argue about it, he wouldn't.
Unvote
, 'cause I don't know where my vote is at the moment, and I think I may be voting The Fonz in the near future.

Did Nanook say this? "I am pro-Town."

Okay, I suppose I should actually contribute, and since I'm surprised I'm still alive, I'll just go ahead and put up some information, so that it cannot die with me.

I am a cop. I'm not a generic, run-of-the-mill cop, but I am a cop nonetheless. I'm not going to go into how I'm different, I'm just saying that I am in case a real cop thinks I'm claiming being him. I'm not.

That said, I have three confirmations. Unfortunately, one of them is obvious (RafK). I also have a scum, but, likewise unfortunately, it's Yosarian. However, I can say with assuredness that I have investigated YogurtBandit as Town, as well as VanDamien.

So... that's done. Now you see why I am put off by this turn of events... I have nothing to go on but the posting.

Ww...hat? My claim is fine. According to the mod, we've had four nights. I've been given four alignments, and four names (of the people that Nanook inspected... I wish he hadn't inspected RafK, but that wasn't my choice.) So... I'm afraid it doesn't have a huge hole in it.

You guys are funny.

1. Ever think about the fact that maybe we had a cop head-start? I don't know, 'cause I wasn't here.

2. If you're going to lynch me, do it. It lets the Town know that you guys are in fact retards, and then confirms the three people I've named.

3. I can only tell you what I know. And guess what? I wasn't HERE. I don't know why he's inspected four people, but he has.

Maybe you guys shouldn't be jealous that my ability defeated the quick-night. But it did.

obv. You know everything about my role, and you've found me out. There's no POSSIBLE way I could have done it.

I'll claim when I'm at Lynch -1. It's bad for me to claim, but it's worse for me to die. It's also pretty bad to be voting for the claimed cop ;)

There is a reason to put me at Lynch -1. I'm not going to fully claim until then. That's the reason.

My posts do not contradict each other. Again, if you understood my full role, you would get it. Unfortunately, you don't, so you're talking out of your ass.

Finally, I am fully aware of the rules, and I'm hella enjoying myself.

Threatening
the claimed cop! That's even better than just
voting
for him! You must consider yourself a bona fide badass.

I'm holding nobody hostage. I got tired of you "coming after" me, I realized it would be a waste of the Town's time, so, I decided to prove that I am in fact Town (and, simultaneously, I hate being a cop, 'cause I'm always afraid I'll die, and the info I have will be buried with me.) Instead of letting the Town accept that I'm the cop, you persisted to attack me, attempting to waste MORE of the Town's time. My win condition is to kill scum. Because of me, it's slightly less likely that we'll mislynch. Here, I've even constructed a list of people who are scum:

Thoth
Pinky
Zindaras
The Silent Speaker
Sacred
Nightson
Niempie
The Fonz
inHimshallibe
Blight
Mastermind of Sin

Unless there's a godfather, each and every scum is on that list, and we should only be lynching off of that List. You see, now, why I'm so put off by the argument between the Fonz and you - you're both on the List. It's confusing, and all.

I actually have a little bit more respect for you now, Zindy. You're a pretty cool person. But you need to back up off the claimed cop (i.e. Me). There's no reason for me to claim, so I'm not going to. And you might still be scum, even though you're cool. Hell, I'm testament to that, 'cause I'm scum occasionally.

Because What the Fuck? That's an excellent reason. Lesse... yep, you're on the List. That's good. I'd hate to think that the Town was really that stupid. Hell, I don't even think I'll count your vote as getting me to Lynch -1. At least, for purposes of claiming.

Okay. I've now written up three different drafts of my response (this is my fourth). They've ranged from very polite to excessively vulgar, and this will probably be a combination of the two. While I'd kind of be suspicious of me, for instance, I wouldn't be a complete
fuck-up
(Blight) and not give absolutes that I knew nothing about. Like Blight. The Fuck-Up.

Since two of the drafts have included full claims, though granted one of them was a puzzle you guys would NEVER have figured out. Hell, you guys probably wouldn't have figured out there was a puzzle. You would have figured out there was a red herring (I italicized letters in the post, ultimately spelling out "Red Herring lol".) and then decided there was nothing more, when in fact that post was genius. So I'll dumb it down.

I'm Papyrus, some Egyptian hero of legend or some shit. For some reason, Papyrus decided to defend a huge-ass pile of sand. I don't know why. Maybe he's high. Or retarded. Or both. Probably that one.

Anyway, I can send in - wait, wait wait. I have to gloat right now. I have to inform Blight that he's about to read the paragraph that makes him look like a fuck-up for telling me there's no way that I could have gotten a N4 result. Blight, you are a complete retard. I hope you die.

Anyway, I can send in two names per night, or none. The mod makes a list, in order, of the names I send in, which means order matters. Then, once per night, I get the guy at the top of the list's alignment.

"Hur, hur! Y wuld nanook wanna revive scum!?! lolz pwned" I don't know, dipshit. Maybe he sent in VanDamien (at the time, someone else) and Yosarian, in that order, and didn't figure it out until N2 that Yosarian's bad news? Did you consider that while you were posting that feebly constructed argument? I don't think you did.

"lulz theres no fcuking wai taht nan got in an inv on N4" Unless, you know, Nanook sent in two names on N3, and then N4 happened and I got a result. Unless that took place. Then you're totally right. No. Possible. Fucking. Way.

Looking over my post, this is as nice as it's gonna get. You got your fucking claim, and I only swore, like... five times every paragraph, or so, instead of every other word, like the last draft.

Have fun. I hope you rot. And I hope it hurts.

Making sure that you got that one in there before everyone thought that your fragile ego was crushed? Refreshing the page time and time again, just to make sure that your public image wasn't too badly damaged?

Cute, but ultimately fruitless, dear Blight. You fucked up, you fucked up big time, and now you wish you didn't look like such an asshole.

Well... Papyrus certainly is a difficult fellow to track down, even with all of the internet at one's disposal, is he not? Let's take a look at some of the things I've found, and you can tell me if that's enough flavor, or if you'd like me to find more pages.

There's this site, which would have you believe that Papyrus is a hero who's sworn to help children learn how to read... while interesting, I don't think that's the Papyrus that I am.

And then on the second-to-last paragraph of this page, Papyrus is (again) an animated hero, but this time for a comic book. His movie was apparently released in 1998 (So sayeth IMDB.com)

That what you were looking for? Or no?

Oh! You wanted me to claim it out of my PM! I get it! Well... oops. Now it just looks like whatever I claim is going to sound like it came from either of those sites (probably the first one, 'cause I'll be buggered if I can find more about the latter), or that I've begun making stuff up to fit the role! Silly, silly me.

(That whole post above can be summed up in two words. But I think it had a lot more flair than "Eat it" does. Don't you?)

I'm sorry. I'm still in a "sum-up" mood. You want me to claim?

Fine. I'm an animated hero who teaches children how to read. I have done things like deal with "The Angry Moon God," explore "The Magic Coffin," and survive "The Dark Night of Seth." Because of my... adventures... I investigate two people or none every night. And yaddah-yaddah-yaddah.

There. I flavor-claimed. Enjoy ;)

Obviously, I'm all for not lynching me. By going through to night, I give the Mafia RB something else to think about.

I think Nanook wanted Yosarian alive because he was about to get results off of him, and then he could either spearhead a lynch on a known scum, or have a buddy (albeit one-sided) in the Town. Either way, he's in a little bit better of a position than if Yos is left for dead. See what I'm saying?

And yes, the "helping kids read" thing is bullshit. I'm not going to claim any flavor, 'cause that's all the flavor I have. You all should have realized this, of course, but being the persistant fools that you are, you kept on, resulting in me insulting you - for being, in fact, persistant fools.

That's my piece. Like Zindy said, you can lynch the claimed cop, or you can... not. I do hope you guys aren't
completely
retarded
, and realize I was telling the truth after my name is revealed.
I'm pretty sure that if I have not heard of him it's not an important figure.
Let us all bow before the God of Egyptology. He knows
everything
there is to know. He could not possibly be wrong. Ever. He's obviously right. I must not be Papyrus, and my lynch will reveal that.

Please remember that paragraph if/when I'm lynched.

The problem that keeps occurring to me, though I was optimistic about it at first, is that I don't actually think the RB will have a problem. See, they just RB RafK and kill me... and then I'm dead. Problem solved. So... the doctor should think about protecting me.

Not DO protect me. Think about it. Make there a chance you will and a chance you won't, so that there's a chance the scum'll waste thier kill, and a chance they won't.

Egypt

Heh... okay, this'll seem coincidental, but it's totally true. I'm gonna post a hypothesis right now, and then give evidence: If MoS is scum, inHimishallbe is most likely scum, too.

This page (which, really, I accidentally visited. It was entirely random,) is rather interesting. I read it with the mindset that MoS was scum, and maybe that's skewed my ability to detect scum, but, let me point out what I see.

He attacks the Fonz (distancing? Maybe. But read on,) and says that he wants to hold off on Nightson (who, correct me if I'm wrong, is giving off a Town vibe, and didn't Albert and he confirm each other?). I'm a
huge
fan of backing Townies early on as scum, buddying up to them and when they die, using their Townieness to give myself +1 Awesome.

The next post, inHim is all "Rahh! That's the scums! Teh VOTES!" (I do funny voices... they're funny, dammit. No symbolism of intelligence in them, just something to amuse myself.)

However, inHim, in his next post, attacks Nightson. Their exchange is effectively the following (again, voices are purely for my amusement.):

"You're the scums. 'Mod confirm' my ***."
"It was 10 minutes fool."
"Nuh-uh CZECH* THE TIME!...
"Oh. lulz. You're still scums."

Then MoS responds to inHim - which I don't think inHim expected or desired. MoS continues the distancing, and then when the Mod makes his deadline speach, MoS is quick to prove his townieness by mocking the Town for getting this deadline imposed. Not that
he
wants a deadline, but, y'know, c'est la vie.

inHim then disregards MoS's response, but makes sure everyone knows,
inHim wrote:I'm still not on the level with MoS,
Okay? He's not on the level. Him and MoS? Not equals. Unequals. Distant unequals. Oops... did I say "distant"? Hmm...

This all happened on one page. I know, I'm lucky. I guess that's why they call me Kilroy.

*Yes, it is actually pronounced "Check".

Did you not bother to read the linked page? If not, I have no sympathy for you. It's really very clear if you actually... read it.

I am seeing if you being scum fits with what you did, and, if you'll look, it's actually rather compelling. Not only that, I noticed you and inHim have an interesting exchange, along with Nightson and inHim.
MoS wrote:Didn't we revive The Fonz? How do you know if I was "distancing" or not, when you haven't seen his role?
I... very specifically put a question mark after the word. It seems weird to bring that point specifically up. More on that later, I suppose. (Like, later in the game. When one of the three of you is dead.)
MoS wrote:How was I "buddying up to" Nightson? HE MADE A BELIEVABLE ROLE CLAIM.
And that's all well and good. Anyone can make a believable role claim. It's how people react to the believable role claim that tells you things about them. You made a very non-committal response to Nightson's claim of being Mr. Carter. Your statement allowed you to go one way or the other, and it feels to me (yes, intuition is unprovable, but that's what you get.) like you intended on siding with him in case of a 'wagon. I can't prove that, since Albert was kind enough to have the two of them confirm each other.

It's interesting, now that I think about it, that you
didn't
try to throw any suspicion on Nightson. It was actually pretty easy back then. Y'know, before Albert and Nightson had their exchange. You haven't really been one to give reasons - since I've shown up, you've voted for me, Blight and me again. And you never once gave an actual reason. You had your whole "You're clearly bullshit" line, which I thought was rather clever wordplay on your part, but, aside from that, you're throwin' your vote around like it's a gosh durn'd hot potater. Now why would you be doing that?

I'm sure I had another point, but it's early, and I'm running on Mountain Dew, so... **** if I remember. Oh - I did think it was interesting that Nightson doesn't feel like unvoting me, even if he believes that I'm a cop. Really? You're that petty? Oh, well.

Oh! That's what I meant to do before I hit submit!
Unvote, Vote: Mastermind of Sin

Blah. How about you listen to me? I have no flavor. I've claimed it all. I'm a fictional hero who defends the desert, or Egypt (I forget specifically which it says, but probably Egypt).

Oh, and I'm a fisherman. It occurs to me now that maybe when the mod said "Ficticious", he meant "I made him up". I don't know. He didn't specify.

Anyway... yeah, that's all I have right now.

For my next performance, I shall be doing, "Kilroy's Rebuttal, in E Sarcasm," followed my "Rebuttal, Part Deux" for my other fans. Enjoy.
You do remember that Nightson, a claimed investigator, features on your list of scum, the list that we should lynch off, right?
Oh... oh I see your point.
Everyone
on that list must be scum! What a fool I've been, saying that some of those people are Town, some of those people are Scum... thank you. I see the light now. Thank you.
Fake edit:
Oh, rapier wit! A fake edit! How comical! Oh, were I a man of
half
your intelligence.
Kilroy, make up your mind already! Are you trying to pull a flavour disappearing act here? First you say you're Papyrus, then you call it all BS, now you're Papyrus again. It just looks like you're using flavour and information in general when and how it suits you, just to get you out of a tricky spot.
Ahh, see, I was unaware that but a single person on this Earth, fictional or otherwise, was allowed any given name. My apologies - for a moment, I thought myself a
different
Papyrus than the one I had mentioned.
Your claim has been modified so many times, I'm pretty sure that a good deal of people (me included) don't know what to think anymore.
I lost
you
!? Of all people, I mustn't lose
you
! If you don't understand something, what hope do the rest of us have? You make sure we are all aware you understand
everything
- your sum-ups are a testament to that - and without you, we would for certain be lost!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Indeed, my name is actually Papyrus, I am a fisherman who is sworn to fight baddies and fight for Egypt (modified to avoid direct quoting, obv.) I lied to the Town because I thought it was obvious. Apparently, I'm just that good at lying. Or ya'll are stupid. It's one or it's the other. A flavor claim from me is pointless. I thought
that
was obvious, too, but... I'll just stop overestimating your collective intelligence.

Again, the case on me has no merit. I mean, Nightson has even admitted that he is willing to vote for me, even if he believes I am a cop. This shows not only pettiness, but stupidity, and anti-Town behavior. As my incredibly unobservant, trying-too-hard-to-appear-protown friend (Sacred) has pointed out, Nightson is on the list. That's... a defense? "You haven't cleared me, thus, you're scum"? What? I'm sorry Nanook didn't investigate Nightson. Guess what? I don't plan on it. I'm pretty confident he's pro-Town. I'm not wasting a night of investigation on someone who has been acting in a very pro-Town fashion. Any of the other people on the list (with maybe some exceptions - don't waste time asking, I won't tell you who,) may or may not recieve an investigation from me.

We should definitely decide on a lynch - even if it's me. Stuff needs to
happen
, and sitting around saying, "Kilroy's an ***. Kilroy's scum." is doing nothing. I am scum, or
I'm not scum
. If you're really curious, and really stupid, lynch me. This will auto-confirm three people in the game (hopefully, one of them will not be modkilled due to inactivity.) If you do not do the Mafia's work for them, as someone else whose name escapes me has put it, then you will get another investigation result tomorrow, if I'm not dead.

Right, but what Thoth is saying, is why didn't Nanook just decide to wait to play his revive vote until he learned the nature of Yos. I don't know the true answer, I've given the best explanation I can think of (that doesn't have a synonym of the word "stupid" in it,) and that's that.

I'm really not scum. If we lynch another scum, though, maybe we'll see a pattern emerge. I know, it's a little much to hope for, but it's not totally out of the realm of possibility. A theme amongst scum would be terribly convenient. It might explain why Imhotep is teh scums, as well.

That's all I have to add. I'm off!

I can see how MoS is in a difficult position: several confirmed (or mostly, in Night's case) townies are calling off the bandwagon of me, but, he has to leave his scum vote on a Town (me) or face death come the deadline. It's definitely a dillemma, Mos: Take your vote off me and hope someone else besides you gets lynched, or leave your vote on me, which can only lead to bad things in the future.

Hmm, what to do, what to do, eh? The difference between us, Sinsy, is that I don't care if I die. If I do, it confirms several people. If I don't, I keep investigating. Not so for you.

Don't you hate it when you try to beat one person in your post, and then multiple
other
people come and throw it in your face? I'll perform a sign of good faith, though, and
Unvote, Vote: Blight
. I already wasn't a fan of him, I just thought you were scummier. But it seems like we can get things going on him, less so on you.

Now your choice is even harder. Continue to be a dense anti-Town fool and keep your vote on me, or Unvote, and look like you're following the herd to stay out of suspicion. I
love
this.

Mastermind of Sin wrote:Kilroy, I care less about dying than you do. What I care about is whether or not the town lynches scum. I intend to make sure that we do lynch scum, and that's you.
There are two things wrong with that statement. For instance, a Townie should never not care about dying, unless of course his death will further some pro-Town cause. In my case, it confirms several people. What does your death do?

The other thing wrong is, of course, I'm Town.

Yeah. He can't
truly believe
you're scum, 'cause he doesn't know. There are very few absolutes in this game. The reason he won't say whether or not he'll hammer you is because it then informs the Mafia (whether you're Mafia or not) whether he thinks his role is a power role for the Town or not.

That said, I refuse to hammer Setael. I don't care what consensus you all reach. Not doing it. I'll vote Setael - actually I won't. There's enough of you to get something else going, and I'm really not feeling a Setael lynch. I am feeling a MoS lynch, which is the direction we should be going.

You guys don't actually seem to realize - I don't think everyone on that list is scum. If they were, we would have lost. That is where all the scum are, however. And my reason to lynch/not lynch people is based on the results I get.

Setael: No, he wasn't. I decided to investigate a confirmed Town. Are you stupid? I investigated him 'cause I could. And before it's asked, I'm not saying who's getting the magnifying glass tonight.

There's also no need to be s...

Bleh. Too easy. Point being, don't ask stupid questions if you don't want me to call you stupid for it. And yes, asking me if I investigated off of my list (as in, away from the list) is stupid. Of course I did.

Oh, and something that just occurred to me: Now that it's over, who was in the cult? That would probably assist re-reads.

Yeah, I don't ever investigate people, or tell people my results. I just sit here and let my ability go to waste.

Oh, wait, that's right, I
don't
do that. I actually use my ability, and just confirmed The Fonz, who was under suspicion yesterday. What's wrong, TSS? Afraid that you're coming under scrutiny next, since I didn't follow everyone's expectations and investigate MoS? He's a rogue cop! He's investigating at random! Kill him, quick! Who knows who the **** he'll investigate next!?

(Oops. Please disregard the whole paragraph. I feel like such a fool. TSS was talking to Kill Roy, his imaginary friend who isn't in the game. Silly me.)

That's funny, TSS. I'm starting to think MoS is right, though, so I'll
Vote: TSS
. I'm pretty sure it was popular opinion I was going to investigate MoS last night - that's probably why I lived. Hell, MoS himself was looking forward to having me investigate him, so that he could be "proven innnocent".

Awesome. All right, we should really get some activity going. Someone vote TSS and see how he reacts.

Also, I see a few things going on. 1: The Cult is still going strong. Just because they've lost their leader doesn't mean they're dead. B: There was nobody in the cult.

That's about it. Maybe III: The mod threatened them with modkill if they spoke about it, but that doesn't seem too likely.

Your arguments are so clever. Saying that I wanted to lynch me is exactly what I meant. Oh, how original.

Oh, that's right, that's not the first time you've made yourself look like an ass by doing that. I forgot.

Note that TSS is (I) Stalling to come up with a reason to lynch MOS and (2) Not being specific about MOS' actions, therefore allowing him some leeway in case MOS defeats him in logic on any specific statement. Note these, and lynch TSS.

I'm here, but MoS has done a well enough job of showing the idiocy inherent in the system. Or, at least in Setael and TSS. I did like Setael's "Whaaaa! Wh-wh-whaaaaaaaaaa!" post (that'd be number 1240). But I don't have anything to say to it - just wanted to make fun of him because he's a crying baby-scum.

All righty then.

You really think that anyone believes you anymore? Hell, I can't speak for them - there might be some complete retards in this game who think you're not scum. That is entirely possible. However, anyone with any intelligence can see that you're flailing. You wanted to shift attention off of yourself by voting for some lurkers, hoping this would appease everyone, then when it didn't work - and the Mod owned you in the very next post - you decided that you'll attempt to take advantage of the fact that new people are coming into the game. You're hoping they won't actually read and/or use their brains, and follow you because you're the loudest and most annoying person here.

As for me being "open scumbuddies" with MoS, I think it would be hysterical to see what you would do if I was lynched and came up Town. Hell, you'd probably go right on like you'd never said I was scum.
TSS in the Future wrote:"See? This just proves MoS is scum, because he was trying to buddy up with the Town Cop."
Anyway, I look forward to getting the replacements in, and watching you flail as even
more
people call you a stupid, scumtastic retard. Which you are, don't get me wrong.

I've been thinking about what Dusk said, about specifically asking for
my
major points, so she can go review me... you wouldn't really
need
major points if you were going to go review someone, now, would you? This does put me in a good way, though, because now I'm not confused as to whether Dusk is scum or just an idiot. It's the latter. That, or RafK is the most G-Tastic liar in this game. But I'm pretty confident I investigated him... ugh, now I have to go look.

Indeed, I have. Dusk is confirmed Town, and thus, if she pursues me, confirmed idiot. Here's a thought, Dusk: Do you really want to lynch the Cop who's claiming one of the more (if not most) powerful roles in the game? I get actual results, and I guarantee tonight's investigation - who can be found in post 1185 - will be useful knowledge, indeed. So, in essence, I'm not asking you to do the right thing - I'm asking you to not be an idiot. I'd hate to see that RafK was traded down.

Plus, The Fonz is on my side (tentatively, of course). How can I be wrong?

You want to see if you agree with the general consensus... and then what? What if you don't? I try to make my own opinions of people, and then convince others I'm right, not just go with the flow, which is exactly what we don't need at this point in time.

Also, I never called you scummy. Do not accuse me of things I didn't do. I in fact said you were confirmed Town. I said if you attempt to persecute me, I will call you an idiot. Hell, I'm on the verge of calling you one, anyway, because instead of actually contributing something, or spending time reviewing the game, you waste time telling me something I didn't need to hear because I don't care, and asking a question that was utterly pointless.

Dusk, surprisingly, raises a good point, and I'll explain my actions before anyone else picks up on it. I am only indulging myself in public ridicule of others because I believe the case to be closed, and obvious to anyone with a wit about them. TSS is the scum. It doesn't get any more simple than that.

Now, back to Dusk. I find that arguments that I'm winning don't aggravate me, and arguments in which I have no leg to stand on do aggravate me. I suspect it's similar for you. Consider why I press the issue, and you... don't. My feelings are further confirmed by your insecurity - you took time out of your day to respond to what I said... without actually saying anything. You could have said, "I think Kilroy is scum because..." and I would have continued to call you an idiot, but at least it would have been progress. You could have said "I think TSS is scum because..." and, surprisingly, I would have retracted my statement (according to the forms that I'm waiting for Nightson to get back to me on.) But no, you chose to respond without actually saying anything. I applaud your insecurity.

Y'know, when I saw MoS's thing, I was like, "TSS, like an idiot, is gonna 'fix' that, isn't he?" Then I checked my "watched games" thing, and was like, "Hey, czech it out! MoS is still the last poster! It's been a couple hours! I'm proud of TSS!"

O disappointment, why must you plague me so?

In other news, we should definitely get some kind of activity going, and, in the absence of that, a deadline.

Oh, and I'm not lurking, I just have nothing to say other than TSS is idiot/scum. And that's both, not either/or.

Everyone notice how much The Jester is scum, and lynch TSS please.

***,
damnit
, Jester, you really are an idiot, aren't you? You're making me think TSS is Town. Now I'm just pissed off, 'cause I really want TSS to be Scum, but... Jesus, Jester. I'm actually okay with postponing a TSS lynch to go with Jester.

For those of you who aren't seeing why The Jester is scum, he just said that we should lynch the Cop based on the result of another player. A player, might I add, I have
never
said I investigated. I am pursuing TSS solely because I
think
he is scum. In fact,
Unvote, Vote: The Jester
. I'll revote TSS if that doesn't catch on (or if TSS is already dead, I'm not sure...), but I think we should start looking at The Jester.

The Jester wrote:We lynch Kilroy.
Kilroy = The Cop
Ergo, "We lynch Kilroy" = "We

Maaaan, life
hates
you right now, doesn't it? You realize what this means, right? If Jester turns up scum... TSS is probably Town. My, my, my... you just FUBARed. Know what that means? Look it up.

On a side note, good to see you back, MoS. I was hoping you'd pop in and throw a vote on before Wednesday.

The Jester wrote:when I said Lynch Kilroy, that was before I thought of you as being the cop.
The Jester wrote:I looked back on page 1 to remind me of who died and who was what. Sacred was a mafia framer. So why would we have a mafia framer, without a Cop who investigates. So if I have this right,
Kilroy's claimed cop seems to make sense
, cause the mafia framer would only have an impact on him.

Now,
if Kilroy is cop
, and thinks TSS is mafia, and Setael is defending TSS. Then I'd think Setael might be the partner? I guess when we find out TSS is scum we can confirm Kilroy, if not, lynch Kilroy the next day. Cause it seems one is mafia, one is not.

Nightson, why do you think I'm mafia?

Also has White posted in here yet? I haven't seen it, but Vote: TSS It makes sense Kilroy telling the truth, if for some reason TSS is Town, than
We lynch Kilroy
.
Not only did you think of me as the cop, you mentioned it twice in that very post. And... "if" I'm the cop? You really think there's any doubt? Come on, now. If I'm scum, and lying about being the cop, then the real cop is the biggest dumb*** in the world.

But let's presume, for a moment, that you are Town, Jester. Are you telling me you're so bad at this game, you not only don't bother to look back and see if the claimed cop ever said he has investigated anyone, you don't even look at your
own posts
to see if you're about to make yourself look like an ***hole?

I call bull**** on the bulletproof claim. Please hammer him, if he's close.

Sorry. I got sidetracked while writing that. The point I'm making in my second paragraph is that even if he is Town, he's a detriment, 'cause he's not going to bother to look back and see what has happened.

You mean Nightson, the flavor-cop and RafK, the truth-teller? I'd have to go with neither, since neither of them claimed the ability to investigate one person every night and tell whether they're Town or not.

Not that right now is the time for in-fighting. Right now is the time for lynching The Jester.

I really don't think he's derailing it. I'm sure we can find someone to fill the spot, if he refuses to put his vote on.
You're
assisting the derailment of it, just, by the way.

Look, I think everyone wants this day to end (Nightson's been the only one to verbalize it, but I'm sure it's been felt.) Setael hates MoS. I hate TSS, who returns the favor. The Jester is our common enemy. If we're going to end the day, that's what has to happen. Standoffs = descent into immature mud-slinging. Let me get my investigation through, I really think it will help this situation.

that we've had some discussion? There are fifty-six freaking pages of "discussion", you brainless idiot. Also, DG voted for you because voting for you is, in fact, a no-brainer. Come on, let's just lynch this guy.

Yeah, in your position I might figure now would be a good time to go back and actually read the game. Of course, I would have actually read the game long before now, but, we're assuming that I acted like an idiot, which is what you did.

At this point, I'm up for Jester or TSS. I'd really rather lynch The Jester, though. This day needs a deadline.

I am protown, and I am not and have never been any of the following roles during the course of this game: cultist, cult leader, mafia, werewolf, serial killer, psychopath, survivor, lyncher, jester, or any other sort of role that is NOT 100% protown in its objectives.

Well, obv. This is a tough call. On the one hand, TSS followed perfect protocol for being a Vig and having someone else claim Vig... but he's claiming to be the exact same thing as Blight (unless you're not?)

I'm also following Nightson's motorcycle of thought. I think we lynch TSS like the crazy killer that he is.

First, the code:

09/773/4380/4

02/156/3462/6

07/582/1470/7

99/110/7200/8

The first and third numbers are ISBN numbers of two books, Mastermind and Sin, respectively. The second and fourth numbers are irrelevant. The slashes are similarly irrelevant.

That said, I was not roleblocked. I got a Not Mafia result on MoS. Now for

Thoth
Zindaras
Nightson
Jester

[quote=The Jester]Kilroy voting with no reason.[/quote]

Is that... a statment? Are you dictating what's happened in the game? Because if so, you're doing a hell of a job so far. Especially since the above is incorrect. I said exactly why you're scum yesterday, and your bulletproof claim doesn't inspire much confidence at all.

Setael (I think) [Whoever made the list of who the scum is]: Granted, there is a possibility that someone investigated is a Godfather, and being a not-terribly-good quality player, I will leave that to others to determine. However, don't put more than one person not on the list on your list. I defy you to prove I'm lying, and since you cannot (because I'm not), that (my) list is terribly accurate. Don't make drastic changes, thank you.

Here's the position I see the scum in now: they were restricted to choose between killing and doing their action. That was all fine and dandy, because TSS was Vanilla, so he could send in the kill and the others had free reign to do as they pleased. Now TSS is dead, and suddenly both Dusk and my investigations go through. This says to me that there's one of them left, and the only way they can stifle the information flow is if they decide not to kill. This leaves us in a good way. So we keep lynching (and investigation) off of the list, and by tomorrow, about, we've got this game in the bag.

Plus, The Jester seems like uber-scum, so, that's fun. I think I'm voting him. Yeah, I probably am.

Well it is strange but not just because the RB didn't do his or her job last night (and this is likely due to either being able to kill or use a power not both in one night action).
Of course, Kilroy never actually said he was blocked, and, indeed,
has

Unfortunately, I can't tell if Dusk is just bad at this game, or if she is actually the scum. Alternatively, the main reason Jester's under the limelight is because he said we should lynch me, made a few comments as to how... I don't even remember. I wasn't the cop, or some-such, and then when people started wagoning him, he claimed a high-scum-risk role.

I think both are equally scummy, and we may be talking about two different scumsters. My thinking is: We can no longer trust the information Dusk is giving us. If we lynch Dusk and she is Town, then we suddenly can trust everything. If Cult, we have to attempt to decide when it happened and what we can believe (meaning Setael would, unfortunately, become a target of suspicion again.)

Lynching Jester would just be fun, but it would also get rid of a potential killer (if he's Mafia.)

My investigation is free tonight, so we can lynch whomever. I'm for a Dusk lynch, myself.

1. Kudos on the avatar. L is a G.

2. Don't explain yourself. It isn't helping (with me, anyway,) and it makes me feel like you're trying to buddy up to me so I won't want to lynch you.

3. According to Mgm's initial message (sent months ago, so it's probably accurate) I got a "Not Mafia" on RafK on N3.

4. I don't know. I get "Mafia" (I assume, I personally [me, the actual person behind the username] have never investigated scum.) and "Not Mafia." This could very well be a shield for the Cult to unknowingly hide behind.

(To answer a question I imagine will arise, I was told that I got a "Mafia" result on Yos2 way back on N2.)

And yet you continue to explain your actions. I'm not asking you to. Please stop.

I don't know what I would see if I saw Cult, because, as far as I know, I haven't. And if I have, then no, I would get "Not Mafia," or "Mafia," perhaps.

The problem being: We can no longer trust anything Dusk tells us. Who she investigated, and what she got, can both be lies (and quite probably will be.) If we lynch her, either way, we get information.

Zindaras: I think Dusk is Scum. If Dusk is not Scum, Dusk's death tells us who isn't scum. This, in turn, helps us deduce who is Scum.

Thank you for paying attention to the first installment of "Remedial Mafia for Stupid Idiots." Please save all questions to the end of the game, as wasting time with you is starting to bore me.

Could you (Dusk) be any more Scum? And yes, DGB is correct, I use the term "Scum" to mean "Anti-Town." I don't even think I have to list the reasons, but they're all right here on this page for anyone to look at (page 71, in case mine is the top of the next... I really hate that.)

Anyway, yeah. I don't know that we can trust Jester, is the thing. Were I in his position, for instance, I'd betray all of you after getting your trust. Since I assume most people will revert to this behavior, I'm hesitant to trust him. I say we have him lynch Setael. Or we all lynch Dusk (admittedly, this puts Jester into the night with a kill.)

Oh my God, Dusk, be more scum.

Hey, I have a plan: If Setael is lying about being the Bomb, and Jester lives into the night and he and we work together to kill the Cult, we should totally go for a Happily Ever After.

I'm just saying. It'd be fun.

Or we could lynch Jester and, if he's the last Mafia, then just start No Lynching. Obviously there are more of us than there are of them, so it would be able to pass, and I'll start investigating
everyone
and if nobody comes up Cult, then we can just call it a draw. I'm totally fine with winning with the Cult.

I'm surprised how simple that sounds, and how I didn't think of it earlier... oh, well. Or you guys can have your squabbles, and I'll just go along for the ride.

Dudes, whatever. I'm not going to argue with you when you're being obtuse. I clearly said I have no idea what I'd get if I investigated cult, because, as far as I know, I haven't. Reading comprehension FTW!

Also, for the funniest player, you're really hostile and... not that funny. Just a personal thing I've noticed. Why would you not be fine to win with the cult in a "We refuse to kill anyone and you don't have the ability to," situation? Personally, it's... wow... huh... I had a thought. Anyway, like I was saying: personally, it's totally cool with me to win with other people. Why you're vehemently opposed to letting the cult win hand in hand with us just bothers me. It's a frickin' game.

So, do your Setael lynch, and let's see what comes of it.

Will you have? Odd... Honestly, I won't have. I suppose it's fair enough, though, to act the way you are acting if your win con differs from mine.

Either way, progress > what we're doing right now.

What do I think of the Fonz? I like him. I don't think he's scum. I'm pretty confident DGB is scum, and if the Fonz is scum, too, then this game is screwed. And The Fonz doesn't overreact.

What scum are we dealing with? I don't know. I don't have inside information. Obviously there are killers. There are people I still haven't cleared, for myself. It might be one of them. But I think it's DGB.
