Titus has quite a presence in games i've read in the past, no i will not be providing examples but all games are completed, and those who are familiar with her really should know what i mean. i don't see that here. she's tunneling, because she's a tunneler and she knows it, but there's no wider sense. there isn't any wildly connecting McMenno through associatives to find his scumteam, from her point of view.

I can easily see town coming back from a V/LA to the game thread more than doubling, then deciding that instead of trying to read through the entire thread that they haven't seen yet to try to catch up on the game, they'll instead sheep their strongest town read and try to catch up based on what's going on now instead. Trying to force a case on him not being willing to sheep onto his scumreads over this is scummy as shit, especially since his scumreads didn't exactly look strong beforehand.

Ok so I've been thinking... and it's almost 100% likely that there are two scum teams because it's been so hard to push any wagons through and because nobody on a scum team really wants to lynch anyone that they don't think is town, because town is the biggest faction and the biggest enemy at the moment. Also, they don't want to be seen to be pushing a rival scum wagon because that would make them a NK target for the other scum team.

It's quite possible scum have day talk, given the amount of fluctuation of wagons and the timing of how it happened. like somebody else said, whether that's a passive ability or whether it's encryptor-enabled is anyone's guess.

Basically I think the best play for scum today would be to be on a wagon without leading it, because leading it would be dangerous if it flipped scum. also, they need to buddy up to rival scum until town is no longer a huge threat. Or at least, they need to seem like they are not a huge threat themselves, so that the rival scum team well target someone besides them.

And then the best play for town is to be on the wagon of somebody who is pretty scummy. But also keep in mind that any wagon is going to be difficult because nobody on the scum teams really wants to be seen as pushing it. It would be pretty bad play for scum to be super active, but it would be pretty good play for town to be super active. Obviously that doesn't mean that all the active players are town but generally speaking.

I think scum are less likely to do stuff like grandstand in a situation like this. Unless it's to save themselves, like Nahdia. I'm still undecided on that slot. Speaking of which, somebody said there was a claim in there? I think we need to get all the claims on the table. I'm 100% sure that scum has already been writing them down meticulously, so us townies might as well have something like that too.

You know what's opportunistic? A wagon on a player returning from a week-long V/LA. It's a 100+ page game, if you've been actively scumhunting you should have a better top scumread than the lurker who's been a complete non-factor.

How did my mini-wagon come to consist of my top three pre-V/LA scumreads? Did I manage to call scum that early? Probably not, but I'm still fine with my scumreads on everyone on my wagon.

NC's scumread on Titus has poor reasons, but I'm not sure if it's coming from a scummy place. A weird application of meta to be certain, the fact that Titus (according to NC) isn't usually consistent in their reasoning doesn't make them scum when they are. I'm not TRing Titus for the record, just disagree with NC's case on her.

I'll try not to TR Ankamius too hard for their defense of me, as it would be easy to pocket me right now, but they managed to exactly pinpoint my motivations for the sheeping.

I don't expect people to TR me for sheeping a townread, but it's certainly better for the game if I try to latch onto something to get back into the game instead of waiting for me to slog through 70 pages while the day is still going on. A night would allow me, and other players, at least some chance to catch up to the backlog. We're not going to get that night, or any advancement to the gamestate, if we don't get a real wagon going.

Gonna townlean Firebringer. I don't like compromise lynches and I'd normally be pinged by someone attempting to lynch their TR while trying to wash their hands of the result, but my gut says their frustration is genuine and their behavior makes sense for town in these extreme circumstances.

I don't know about the others, but I don't like that he called out Nahdia for assuming scum had daychat and not Creature. His excuse was that any talk after the first mention of this being a scumslip was pertaining to the conversation about assumed daychat, so it isn't a slip. However Creature was not talking about that conversation at all and even throws in a nevermind afterwords once Creature realized what he did. This is about scumreading Magna, not Creature though. He's also twisting my words to pretend that he's scumhunting.

MOD - Life has kicked me in the teeth today and I'll be driving like 12 hours tomorrow so consider my normal weekend V/LA started a bit early.

I have to laugh at the amount of "Let's lynch Magna" appealing to repetition going on - just repeating an empty mantra isn't a very good way to actually show how I'm supposedly scum.

I've laid out over and over the many ways zakk is so obviously playing his scum game to a tee and while I understand why "tone" players might get sucked in I can't for the life of me understand why Andrius and Titus don't see the clear writing on the wall.

Zakk's response to the 1v1 was a long and empty kettle of scum posting - pretending to be all for the 1v1 while leaving escape hatch after escape hatch like "Oh, I will just be wrong I guess" that he'll lean on whenever I flip and the mob comes for his scummy neck with rope. I also appreciate his "Oh, I have tons of games I just can't be bothered to show my alts but if you find me directly lying since I can't back it up to be scummy so be it" routine ... good for some laughs after a hard day today and a hard day tomorrow.
