I'd buy it.In post 3797, Toogeloo wrote:I feel like gerry has an important scum role and he claimed without pressure to avoid getting pressure in the first place. On another site where I play Mafia, as an example, a scum with a one shot assassination would often claim something super important just to ensure they live one day and get their shot off at night (there, assassins are an extra kill that can't be stopped by any means).
He's emulating stubbornness in order to avoid having to worry about fleshing out his claim since he figured he would have been fine with just a Mason sound claim to begin with and wasn't banking on actual Masons existing in the game.

Definitely scum in the lurkers at deadline.
Likely scum in the people trying to secure anyone but Creature's lynch.
I'd even start suspecting Tammy/Toog in a few days if one of them isn't dead because Toog fighting the Creature wagon was stupid as crap.

I'm not expecting to argue; I'm stating the facts that people were missing at deadline and thus made it difficult to actually throw together a lynch; Toog voted someone he didn't want to and Tammy had to finally cast a vote in order for us to secure a lynch.

My confusion stemmed largely from THE THING where he did next to nothing all game and plied away at his own trade, engaging as he willed in an almost-Tammy style where he had 2 maybe three reads when we killed him for his PR. He said he was less active in larges and someone corroborated that though I can't recall if it was THE THING oranother. He was in STRAHD as well and was killed N1. He did his little reads dance and called people scum but was overall low-impact, though maybe that's more of the clash of the personalities and less of him lurking.

Ok.
[Creature, Firebringer, SlySly] were all (temporarily) with me in a game that is now over.
I think Firebringer is town because his attitude of I DONT APOLOGIZE and I PLAY MY OWN GAME make good sense with what I've seen there, especially in the conversation we had after the incident in which [Creature, Fire, Myself] were force-replaced from the game. Creature was close to zero-involvement there too.
The Friendly Serial Killer schtick I used D1 after SAD called me a SK was something I used there as well.
Now that the game is over we can talk about it and I have no more secrets.
[Fire, Creature, Sly] should also know my role based on things that were said in this thread and related play."This is the true face of a man who plays paladin."-
