I'm still having trouble seeing it. I think wanting to avoid a quick, relatively information-less lynch is a common concern for most townies. Although it can just as easily be faked by scum, I liked his kneejerk vote in response to Super subtly egging him on to hammer the vote. If there was anything that pointed me towards a scum-Boon, it would be this post where he takes a strange double position on the wagon. But even then, it just looks like a bait to me.-

I feel like you have a skewed perception of me based on me getting to replace 30+ pages into a game and finding scum relatively quickly. Even then, I still had to fight tooth and nail to get the lynch I wanted. I've never been good at' pushing a game forward' or 'generating content', whatever either of those are supposed to mean. If this game is lacking, it sure as hell isn't a byproduct of anything I've been (or haven't been) doing. In post 392, Dunnstral wrote:I have you in the "useless" category.
Because I don't like his vote on Gamma and a lot of his posts just look like empty filler. At a glance, I guess I can see why you'd think he's trying to solve the game, but to each his own I guess. I don't know why you'd call out half the playerlist for not pushing the game forward or generating content, among other reasons, and then just handwave another player with 'I probably don't care,' especially when another player calls them out for probably needing to be on your list.In post 392, Dunnstral wrote:Why do you think he should be on the list? Because I don't. Not sure how I read him yet, though. Probably don't care, I can't see myself voting there over other people
Thinkbig is on V/LA. I agree that Thinkbig doesn't look very good right now, but I don't think his interactions with you are that bad. I also think it's likely he just ignored you than running away with his tail between his legs. If I would vote him, it would be because of his early vote on Gamma where he said Gamma jokingly creating his own counterwagon was scummy, which felt forced to me. Even then, it's not a strong read and I'm not really interested in the wagon. Your vote here just feels flat and like you're looking for an excuse to jump on his wagon since he voted you.In post 392, Dunnstral wrote:Thinkbig comes in and throws shade at me in 87. "Quick vote change" isn't really something scummy (especially since I just joined in), but Thinkbig is implying it is
I turn on him pretty hard, he then disappears, never to post again
No but really, having just played with him as scum where he lurked and avoided confrontation all game long, he's scum here.
Sure, I can buy Papa Zito being scum. But you do realize that in the RVS stage, a lot of people make offhand comments and accuse people of being scummy without even meaning anything by it, right? Once again, I feel like you're just scumreading all the people who jumped on you when you replaced in.
Your Vifam read doesn't really mesh with me. Explain to me why Papa Zito's response to you in 86 was insufficient as a response to Vifam's 84 considering you kneejerk voted PZ. Considering the question he asked, what information do you feel like Vifam should have pushed for?In post 392, Dunnstral wrote:comes after post 84 from him, but there's no comments on thinkbig, or papa zito (who he was talking to, and who he was given an unsatisfactory response by) - What I'm talking about here is, Vifam for some reason drops his question in 84 after papa zito's 86, even though that's a pretty half-baked answer, and he never prods further. Thinkbig stuff probably warranted a response, as well
He just doesn't like to explain anything. Frustrating, I know.In post 392, Dunnstral wrote:GuyinFreezer is pretty useless;
Rejected. You don't get to accuse half the playerlist of being useless, throw a bunch of mud around, and then avoid giving a read on a player with a half-assed gut read. Especially since you're not only whiteknighting Boon, but accusing Desp of tunneling Boon for nothing. If you can't explain it, point towards the posts that are pinging you in this direction. In post 392, Dunnstral wrote:GUT town Desperado and I don't care to look further there today; aka I'm not willing to lynch there over others
PV's current playstyle is new to me. I'm used to him lurking as either alignment, and even then, most of his worthwhile analysis never came until much later in the game. I agree he hasn't done anything, which is why I called him out on it. I don't know if his behavior is because he's scum, or if his reads really take ages to develop. In post 392, Dunnstral wrote:PeregrineV here reminds me of another game, where he was scum. Well, I've called out scum on page 2 before. And I've correctly scumread mafia on day 1 on multiple occasions. I've also nailed the scumteam while the rest of the town was too busy running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It doesn't make me an expert scumhunter, I just get my reads when I get them. Also, this isn't a dick measuring contest. In post 510, Dunnstral wrote:

This is what I thought you meant. I don't like the word 'make', because it sounds like you were trying to force yourself to read him a certain way, and I don't know why you would feel the need to do that. You deliberately drawing attention to it just makes it worse for me.In post 658, Not Chara wrote:

I don't know what from your posts gives Desp the impression that it's a scum stream of consciousness. When I read through your early posts, it didn't bother me that much. And your later posts, particularly the ones in response to the pressure on you, give me the impression of a townie speaking in my head (regardless of whether I agree with anything you've said).
This bothered me as well. But I figured you probably hit the Q+ button a few times. You immediately responding to it makes me believe it wasn't intentional, and I agree that Desperado's post was probably the worst of the bunch, but only because I didn't like his explanation for it here. Thinkbig's post just looks like a kneejerk response that could easily be from either alignment and Super's post just looks like an obvious joke not to be taken seriously. In post 259, Not Chara wrote:In post 47, Desperado wrote:chillin

I've indicated why I was voting you here when I asked Desp about your vote on Vax. I don't like your vote because while I think Vax did mock Vifam's suspicion on him, I find him being overly defensive or discrediting the read to be a stretch and don't see how you could have jumped to that conclusion. Desp told me he wasn't bothered by it when I brought it up to him, which I found unsatisfactory, but didn't press because it's not a strong read. I also indicated to Papa Zito that I was serious about my vote on you here as well. I also don't like you attempting to look busy by fluffing up the thread asking Frogger about his Scummy award or you 'cheerleading' the reads lists given by other players, neither of whom listed you as a suspect. In post 662, Superhans wrote:In post 100, Boonskiies wrote:@Super - why are you so play putting him to L-1 page 4? Early posting was mostly joking around with no scumhunting. My experience with PV is that when he's town, he just lurks and comes back later with relevant content. Here it seems like he was trying to have a presence without actually making a meaningful contribution anywhere. This continues for 18 pages until Chara and AJ call him out for his vote on a non-existent slot (interestingly, Chara only scumread/voted me for this in one of her opening posts and seemingly ignored PV). He then immediately reverts to this behavior until here, which is likely just his response to being pressured by Papa Zito and Gamma. I don't know if he legitimately believes in a NotChara/AJ scumteam or if he's just reiterating the concerns that have already been expressed by others. In post 859, Fro99er wrote:

My townread on Chara is not strong. I just think that if there's scum between the two, that it's possible that it's only AJ (or that AJ is not her partner). This is because AJ has spent most of his energy pushing suspicion on players voting his slot or chainsawing Chara. In post 860, PeregrineV wrote:

257 came before 415I have not seen the reverse.
AJ, on the other hand, has mentioned a strong townread or defended her on multiple occasions: 415, 427, 562, 584, 596, 601, 639, 641, 647, 849. 645 and 649 were deflections directly related to his townread on Chara. 708 was an attack on a player that voted Chara. 715 was a direct response to a question you posed to him about Chara. This means that 14/18 of his posts mentioned Chara or were related to his read on Chara in some way. None of his other posts indicate an interest in anything unrelated to her.
What about AJ's townread of Chara makes sense to you? Why do (did) you think there's a likely team between the two? And why does the bolded matter considering Chara has never stated a townread on AJ?-

I find the entire bolded part a stretch. She called out two naked votes on a slot that barely managed to make an RVS vote, and failed at even doing that. She's right that the slot's behavior was mostly NAI. She also hasn't done much of anything with it other than pointing it out, so I don't know why you're so hung up on it.In post 916, PeregrineV wrote:In post 871, Brian Skies wrote:I've only seen two mentions of Aj's slot in Chara's posting. What about AJ's townread of Chara makes sense to you? Why do (did) you think there's a likely team between the two? And why does the bolded matter considering Chara has never stated a townread on AJ?Lots of people who play mafia tend to townread people who "protect" them (see this site, for example). In 257, Chara, calls out the votes on the AJ slot. As one of the top items of interest when she replaced in. I can see AJtown seeing this as defending him, and thus make Chara a town read. I can see AJscum calling his scumbuddy or townChara a townread for doing it.
What is hard for me to see is why townChara makes many of the posts she did (682).
Why do I think they are a likely team? Because of Chara calling out the votes on AJ/Malachite. Why bother, unless she had a read on the slot?
And AJ does townread the slot for that. Which I think AJtown knows better.
And Chara suddenly says AJ could be scum(659), but is still voting ThinkBig (273).
And 841, where somehow their reads are matching up.
Eh. 682 is okay.
If you think AJtown knows better, why not vote him?
Why does Chara have to vote AJ with an offhand remark when she's actually stated a scumread on the ThinkBig slot?
In 841, it's clear Chara made those reads first. So AJ could just be buddying up to her and her reads. Either way, if you think they could both be scum, why not vote AJ?-

I'm unopposed to the ThinkBig wagon, by the way. I just don't feel like it's more likely to flip in either direction. From what I've seen, the guy just seems busy and apparently celebrates every major holiday. Useless != scum. And just because he didn't self vote as town in the game he linked doesn't make him scum here. That's a fallacy and you guys were wagoning him right after he said he was going to celebrate his birthday (I'd be pretty irked too). Why someone needs 5 days to celebrate their birthday, though, is beyond me.
I just feel a lot more confident in an AJ lynch.-

Well, I wouldn't be so focused on you if you learned a new trick. But since you apparently only know how to do three things, then yeah, you're scum.In post 1109, Aj The Epic wrote:Look at you all setting up lynches. It's so adorable. I wouldn't have to focus on defending Chara so much if you wouldn't insist they're scum. And saying "Aj is only focusing on those who vote Chara" is kinda disingenuous because that's at least half the fucking game at some point or another, considering people like Brian Skiies only states "Vote AJ" anymore.
The game is 40+ pages now. Surely you can do more than just attack people for their reads on you or Chara. I remember you entering the game with a comment about forced run-ups, but you never bothered to follow up on it. Did you even do it?-
