I'm about to go hit the hay, but yes.. that's an RVS (but I wish I could call it a PL bc I don't think my nerves can stand the bricks in every single post he makes).

As for thoughts I haven't developed much of them yet. I'm half asleep and some players are still not geared up while some have yet to post.

Also, if we assume 2 scum teams (as was the case in the original version) then everybody's going to scum hunt for realz. It's how it's done and whether there's selective scum hunting that will probably point me one way or another, and that requires the game gets serious and have actual wagons and stuff (no, yours is not a serious wagon from what I see. There's no real case, so it's half pressure and have "for the lolz").

Let me explain further.. in a hypothetical situation where there was a JK who is targeting player A, and then YOU targeted player A with a kill, your action DID happen, and a Tracker will see you visiting them. HOWEVER, your kill will FAIL, because the JK prevented it.

So, similarly.. action would happen but will fail on the Ascetic. a Tracker already claimed they did see dave visit SQ, because the action DID happen. A Watcher though would have not seen anyone visiting SQ, because the Watcher targeting SQ will be blocked.

Aw shucks!! I totally forgot that I invited you in. I guess that makes me responsible for this mess. OK, I'll up my game here sooner than later then.

The key point that I'm still missing here is whether there are 1 or 2 scum factions. I know there has been 2 NKs already, but that could very well mean 1 scum faction + a SK. It could also mean a few other things, but most likely a scum faction + SK or 2 scum factions and no SK.. unless a 3rd kill has been blocked (which I can neither confirm nor deny because I honestly don't know), so I was waiting for N2 results to give me a better view of it all.

Now why would I care if it's single or multi-ball? I know YOU (Chara) already understand, but someone else might (and WILL) ask, whether it be in all seriousness or just to appear like they're asking questions. Well, it has to do with how people are voting and interacting.

For example, Nero got shot and flipped GF of the syndicate. Yes? It thus makes those who pushed Sly the hardest unlikely to be members of the syndicate, and I'd also lean than everyone who voted him might not be too. The syndicate didn't want to lose the two roles that would have been immune to investigative/informative roles. Are you following?

BUT ... can I automatically TR the entire wagon just because of this? The answer is NOT YET. Why? Because I do not KNOW it's single ball, so it might as well has been the "other scum team" pushing Sly for the lynch regardless. Of course the SK (if existent) could have been on that wagon as well, but certainly you can see the difference between "one scum might be on the wagon" as opposed to "the entire second scum team might have been on the wagon".

There's also the matter of fake claiming/fake crumbing coming from some players who might or might not be Town. I do understand and don't object to Town faking in some situations (and you know I do it all the time as Town), but it doesn't make it less confusing for me to sort out, and especially so in early game and with this many players (which in-turn opens the way for many possibilities).

If I try to focus on one thing and keep another unwrapped I'd look like tunneling or WKing, while if I choose to expose all and lay down all possibilities I might be pointing out stuff that went unnoticed by scum.

In short, I have some observations, and even some reservations, but it's far too early to out anything now. Like, remember how I slept on Wraith's crumb in our last game until he tried to fake claim another character? (Yet THAT also backfired because he was still Town) but anyway, my current file is a mess and I don't even want to out my strong TRs for fear they might get picked on, so I literally have little room to wiggle here.

Give until D3 and I will probably start giving you some good analysis with some degree of confidence.

P.S. I had played a similar game on another site (actually, that was my very first Mafia game ever), and I have followed the first version of this game closely, and yet FA seems to have changed a LOT from the two previous versions I saw. For instance, Vicious was a Usurper in the former, so it would have served him well that the GF was gone so early, but Sly didn't flip a Usurper Also the Bebop group were already in a Masonery in the original version, and were in a neighbourhood along with a traitor in the second, but they don't seem to have an already established "meeting point" as of yet in this setup. The original version had only one scum team, but 3 SKs of different killing flavours, while the second had 2 scum groups (and a SK.. I think??), so again.. too many possibilities for me to say I'm standing on solid ground just yet.

That's not as specific as you take it to be. There COULD be more than one SK, and thus controlling 50% of the votes doesn't prevent THEM (or rather "either of them" to still pursue there win-con). That's why I mentioned the very first version I played in, as there were THREE different SKs.

Actually, there were 2 plus Vicious. Mafia killed with guns, Vicious with a katana, Maria Murdoch with a syrup that turned people to apes before they dies, and Vincent killed with a knife (standard SK).

Here we have the explosives/chemical flavour, so it could be the Space Cowboys (or whatever that terrorist group was named) or the Teddy bomber. Waiting to see if there is someone changing into an ape before they're dead.

But even assuming it is confirmed MB (as in TWO GROUPS of scum) then we probably need to flip one of the other group to start making connections, and everyone on Sly's wagon is still a suspect by definition (unless cleared by other means, that is).

I was a spectator and was given access to all PTs in that game. She specifically told me NOT to play in that first game because I knew too much about the setup already having played with her in the original version.

However, I joined this one since that game was cancelled midway and a lot has been exposed about the roles anyway, so considering the tweaks she added to this version I'm on equal foot with those who played in it or those who spectated it with enough interest.

One minor phenommina that I did see in multi ball was the designated mislynch getting double teamed by both scum teams. Both sides dogpile, then see the others players (of another alignment) dog piling on as well and it seems like this weird consensus forming out of the blue, but it's really something much sillier. Have we had a number of wagons like that in this game?

I'll take you on it, on the condition that if Ram flips town we lynch you. I like to play it dangerous anyway, and I've just finished a game where we did that kind of shit (on Titus flip none-the-less) and I lost. The other wagering party was also Town, and none-ether-than our beloved mod.

I just hate these kinds of preflip associations that take things our of context, and will always feel like they're deliberate manipulation in order to setup lynches.

He was Town JK and I was Town Vig in the first, and I almost shot him (but Nero managed to scum it up more so I did him instead).

In the second he was Town and I was Scum, and I got him lynched on D1 because of this same way he plays. (Funnily enough, Nero was also my scum p).

So, third time lucky.. with Nero ALSO flipping Scum here, I think I want to give Ram some slack. (Of course it could be argued that we're both scum together, which is as plausible as me town him scum from a mere statistical PoV, so scratch everything I say and keep pushing me anyway).

Titus, we have similar play styles (that's you and I) but there's a distinction at some parts, and this is one of them. I do not want to (in fact I'm not even capable of) doing much work at the time being. I want to be lazy and not invested for now. I could do reads (pulled out of you know where) if you want me to. I did it in Gistou, and I can do it again. It won't mean shit though.

So, if you want quality reads you'll have to wait for D3. That's when I said I'd start reading through all the shit, while having some flips to make the connections.

smith's entrance is confusing. He said "first" (and that's it) when he was 5th and 9 min after the first post by SQ. He added another post for his RVS post, then he quoted random and agreed we should not shit post in a 3rd post (when that random post was before smith's opening post).
He waits a bit then switches his RVS vote to SQ (is that not shit posting?).

BTD (of the MV hydra) makes a post that -if this was single ball- I'd perceive as Town-minded. Otherwise, MV are not on the team that wacked SQ. You don't say that in the open and then go and shoot the claimed PGO yourself.

Meanwhile, the Not-Not pair (Chara & Fury) are either having fun or starting an elaborate distancing show. That changes later to an explicit TR on Chara, but I'm not yet decided on Fury.

Obviously I don't like rb's entrance, but I'll try to keep my personal emotions out of this, so...

EoP 4: Wheme+Titus+Chara are Town. MV maybe so.

The one that got ruined, where Drixx was some kind of a Poisob Doctor and Rach was on one of the Scum teams (the one that had the Traitor planted in the Bebop neighboirhoud). Sly's entrance post was extremely weird on it's own. Stating Not Fury is obv!town is probably an attempt to buddy/pocket her, but is it because he thought she was Town or on the other scum team? And why pick her over everyone else?

Also Majiffy makes his entrance in this page and “Holy shit 32 slots” isn't exactly inspiring. Did he not know what he was signing up to? Even more weird is it took him 21 minutes to get caught up. I wish I could read 10 pages in 20 minutes and actually comprehend them.

2 posts from Rach and they both annoy me. She is trying to revive the pizza joke in the first (I take that as an attempt to keep the trolling alive) and is calling Nero town in the second (Let's not kill each other first??). Rach is DEFINITELY on the second scum ream if there is one.

Next few pages are a poor excuse for a wasted lifetime.

354 is Ramcius being himself. It's also a semi-town claim. You don't go against 2 confirmed townies like that, and not when one is Titus when you're scum. It's practically a suicidal attempt.

Also her assertion she will flip Town feels genuine (yes, I'm that naive and shallow). This is probably why I won't touch Rach unless we do get a 2nd Mafia team flip.

1391 points to Town!Gamma. He misread Nero, but he did peg Sly for scum, which makes it likely that his TR on Nero was genuine. He also misread Doggo, but he refused to SR SQ for their tunnel on him, but what is really GOOD is he did have the low posters as null (i.e. didn't assign dave a TR “just because”). I like that (regardless of wether I agree on every single read or not. I only skimmed the majority of them tbh, because I wanted to get a read on Gamma, not my reads influenced by his).

@Math: I like the new playstyle much better. I really do. Just one more thing: You need to stop saying “obvTown”. Seriously. I mean, Titus is obv!Town, because she would have been totally busted if she was faking and playing the way she is (leave it at that). Maria is obv!Town (well, not by this point but she claimed later and it would be suicidal to fake claim that). But -generally speaking- you are too generous with your obvTown title you hand it out to scum practically every single game you're Town. I don't remember you using that term in Inception though (maybe I missed it, but I just don't remember you defending someone and calling them obvTown), so there's one reason why I thing you're Town here. /End of friendly poke. 1454 was a decent lynch pool from rb. Of course, he was wrong on one and I think he is wrong about the other 2 alive, but still he included both flipped scums in a 5-names list (aside from unspecified lurkers). In 1457 he adds 2 more names and while I have a Town lean on Gin I have conflicted feelings on Fury.

So Gega actually TRs dave for a reason. Well, I have no idea how to read someone based on their RVS vote, but I'll consider leaving dave alone for the time being. 1487 almost made me retract that thought though.

Page 63 Clearly shows NF is NOT syndicate, and (now that it's very unlikely there are 2 scum teams) I can only assume Fury must be Town.

1556 is a good post by Gin. I still think Gamma is Town, but Gin here is actually reading not skimming, and is trying to find genuine contradictions not just mudslinging.

1580 also makes Rach Town IMHO. (The N2 lack of NKs helped me a great deal of realizing there is only one scum faction here).

Oh, and dave might be Town as well. Not a confident read, but him visiting Maria and she's not dead makes him likely not Scum. Also, I can't see rb follwing Titus around coming from Scum (again, assuming the most likely case of only one Scum faction here).

FWIW, I am closing to the point when Nero got vigged and have formed reads on most slots already, but I need a little more time to verify I didn't miss anything between that point and the end of D1 that may be AI.

Also, "someone" said I was demotivated "Scum". If I weren't too polite to say sit, I would have responded with "demotivated Scum, my arse". (Notice that I AM well mannered, so I won't be responding in such a vulgar manner). Like, at least learn something about my Scum play. Go read some games or ask some people before you pretend to know how I get "demotivated" when my scum partners get lynched (literally the whole team was dead by D4, except for me on one game and I still pulled it off somehow).

But anyway. if you're too impatient and think that I'm Scum, and -more to it- the last of my kind, then by all means GO AHEAD and lynch me. At least it saves me from "skimming with perception" through like 5k more posts in the next 72 hours. It should also provide me with a little bit more time and energy for my "other activities", so to speak.

I didn't use my role to target anyone yet. I was (and still am) demotivated by the uselessness of it. I see people having cool stuff, like protective, investigative and informative all around, and I'm stuck with what would be as good as a fruit vendor. *Shrug*

Remember when rolled Nurse in wake's role madness, and I didn't start picking it up until Drixx got killed and I became the Doctor on D5/D6 (don't remember which). Well, this one is worse. At least I was in a neighbourhood with Drixx himself in Wake's game, and I had hope for my tole to eventually become useful. Here' I don't have such hope.

Oh, and I just remembered.. I think it was D2 when I crumbed my flavour while responding to Chara.. problem, It doesn't give me much info. It tell me "my target got targeted by someone else" and that's it. Who? I don't know. What action? I also don't know. However, if I'm being tracked and something happens to my target I'd be needlessly implicated. That's as bad as a "visitor" (which is even less than a Fruit Vendor, because -at least- the Vendor leaves a trace to their target).

So, let's say I hypothetically visited Maria last night, and she got RB'd. Now what evidence do I have to prove it wasn't me?

OK, let's say I targeted either Doggo or SQ on N1, and they flip dead. How am I supposed to prove I didn't shoot them? And what info do we gain by me saying "someone else" targeted them?

I could go on. If I visited Titus and said she was targeted, we already know that because dave is LOUD.
