I think I am missing things in the interaction between NMS and Flood because I don't have a flipping clue about the players involved and their exchanges seem to be heavily meta-based. I personally think it's not great to auto-assume someone is town no matter who they are, and wonder what the purpose is there.

My initial read on Nos wasn't a "I have things stopped him from being a strong scum read" but more a "I have things in his ISO that I don't like but aren't strong enough to be hugely indicative, want to see more and work from there but he's > rand to be scum", his play since then has been significantly worse though and I'll go into that when I get home.

Sunlit never really stated that the same players were making both statements from him, that's something you've made up out of his post and then used that to push him on. He's not accusing people of being scummy from having those stances at all. He's complaining that he's being read in completely opposite manners by players so he feels like he can't win regardless of what he does, that's what his post was about and that's completely understandable from him regardless of his alignment there. That statement from him being the reasoning behind your vote/push/focus on him feels like an opportunistic push rather than assessing him properly and the statement that you'd not really looked at his prior stuff because you'd not scum read him at the time and the way you've phrased it suggests you're not actually reading his or anyones posts with the aim of getting a read on them, comment of "rest of his ISO I haven't seen or don't care to see" just strengthens that; if you're town there's absolutely no reason to not want to be reading his ISO or questioning him to strengthen / weaken your read there.

I still can't wrap my head around 186 and why anyone would ask such a question and it still feels incredibly forced to me every time I read it. 361 still feels utterly useless to me, especially in light of 412 and 424. He tries to twist it around on me with 'you'd have me believe' as if anyone could possibly have an agenda on how someone else's reads were represented. Not to mention I never even gave him those categories, he figured them out on his own. He also implied there was more to his question that I was to believe, but his response to Regfan in 424 indicates otherwise. His response to me in 364 is hilariously defensive and tries to discredit me by calling me 'completely unrelated.' I endorse Regfan's opinions of Nos in 481. In isolation, Nos' 366 and 368 seem fine to me. But after going back through Sunlit's 283, it felt like Nos was mostly cherry-picking easy things to attack rather than trying to understand Sun's position on his statements, most of which I found reasonable. 398 stands out to me because it's the inverse of my own opinion. I generally got the feeling Sunlit was just responding to how people had conflicting views on him, which was fine to me. If there are any other reads or interactions in thread that you feel like talking about in general that would be pretty helpful; would definitely be nice to hear you going over content that you want to go over rather than just responding when engaged.

I feel like hip wouldn't just blatantly latch on to LLD's sakura thing if he were scum. Pretty sure hip was scum in Legends of Hidden Speakeasy, and I'm fairly sure that his finesse abilities are more than he's displaying here.

Ceph and LLD are actually two reads I feel would be wrong if I had to pick ones. Ceph is like a half meta/half gut amalgamation (god what a fun word).

LLD is just gut. I tried to rationalise this in some other way while typing it, but no matter how much I think about it, it just boils down to gut. It could be just because of how confrontational and aggressive she is, and I just naturally townread it, but that's not really an inherently town thing. Could also be just how quickly she departed from RVS. Initially thought she wouldn't have done that if she were scum, but idk just feels town.

This should really be a nullread, but I bumped her up just because she felt town.

I don't think that Prism and Tammy interacting or talking about her scumread on us is particularly productive at all. We aren't Prism's strongest scumread, the chances of us getting mislynched Day 1 is practically zero, and Prism's read on us (you aren't doing enough!) is not one that invites interaction - either we will catch up and alleviate her doubts and everything will be hunky dory or we will catch up and she'll have problems with our posting, and then the things we will interact about will be a bit more substantive/useful for the thread as a whole.

I know that there's some contention over my slot and I'd like to speak towards that and what it means for me, Regfan.
Out the gates, I did have stronger posts. That's just the case. I immediately was met with more than one townread.
However, as I slouched, so did opinion of me. Only natural, right?
I don't really think so. I feel that the shift in perspective on my slot from a universal townread to being near the bottom of most lists was a scum-oriented effort.
That said, it does become difficult to parse out just exactly who is town duped by it and who is scum taking advantage of my play not being consistent to where it was the moment we began.

Your 595 is a response that I called you out on in my own post 668. You then immediately scramble back from your Dreal vote and double down in your post 684, appealing to emotion right there with how you're building yourself as this unfairly attacked person. It's a more substantial response, which is why I was better off with it, but, now, in retrospect, it does look a lot like you were making very flimsy get-off-my-back replies to BSkies, then, when called out on it, you dropped a wall to hope to appease people. With your vote on Dreal and little substantial content to support it, your annoyance in response to BSkies comes off as faked.

But in this case I have JaeReed backing me. I thought my points which made me doubt Desperado (which I raised in our PT) were maybe just me, but then Jae later confirmed that they, too, off of the very same reasons, now doubted that scumread. JaeReed also sees many of the same things I do in terms of other reads. They supported my readslist when I made it, they supported my pushes, they have been there along-side me and even though I don't trust myself I trust them. And we both can confidently say beyond a shadow of any doubt Varsoon is town.
