Elli has a big PoE list, and has been mostly silent on you. I want to know his stance, and I want him to sell me on it, because I wanna hear his pitch, not just a one sentence blow off.

I town read both these people, but questioning them and forcing them to answer me in full gives me two advantages.

First, if they're town, it helps me find their perspective and compare it to mine. It eliminates some of my biases and empowers me to make better choices. Additionally, it generates reactions from around the conversation, similar to your reaction here, which helps me get other reads.

If they're scum, it helps me pull my head out of my ass in time to not lose the game incase one of them is fooling me. Never stop asking questions, don't rely on assumptions. Eventually you'll run out of time to ask those questions and need to just go with what you have.

So like, I'm playing the game by forcing interaction points around me and around other pivots,a nd when the Wheels turn, I'll read what happens.

And right now, it is hard to read whether your apathy is real or force faked. So either nut up and start making content, or replace out. Because honestly, your scum read on me appears to be formulated based on one post, and I'm a really easy target to scumread right now. All you gotta do is say "Godfathers will pick LLD Statistics LUL" and point to one post and say "This gives me bad vibes" and suddenly you're on board.

1. The read on PA hydra is NOT a meta read. I don't know why people are getting the impression its a meta read.

2. Nothing to sell. The 6 names I had left are purely the product of PoE and I'm figuring out stuff within them. I AM at very confident on almost all the towntown people at this point though.

Furthermore, I can engage with your post and try to understand where you're coming from and voice my concerns over it; it does not matter how much of the game I have read--I can see one post and still be capable of engaging with it and voicing my stances on it and questioning its poster.

I can get questioning Elli and Chesskid in those ways, but

why didn't you just write that to them?

It still strikes me as an incredibly roundabout way figure slots out and, if you townread these people, still looks a lot like giving up agency to allow these so-called townreads to sway you one way or another. In this way, not only could it be a means of distancing yourself from whatever conclusion you come to on those slots, but it also allows you to build a false comradarie between yourself and these other slots. The truth of the matter is that you can not possibly know anyone else's alignments and, if these questions are meant to help inform reads on those particular slots (chess and elli), all good, but you're going out of your way to play this whole "They are my townreads" angle and over-explaining the if-they-are-town and if-they-are-scum scenarios.

I'm also not a huge fan of your defense for being picked as scum. I'd actually forgotten that was the mechanic in this game, so you mentioning it really strikes me as you being incredibly cognizant of it when I'm not, though that could very well be due to the difference in our levels of engagement in this game. Also, I've no idea of your stats, so I'd never say that. In fact, if anything, I hate relying on meta, so I'd double never say that.

I guess I can point to two posts and say they give me bad vibes now, that's more than before. Double, even!

These last four I don't have especially town reads on to varying degrees. Elephant in the room, my issue with chesspig4 is how quick they are to jump on anything that suggests narrowing the lynch pool. Add in their nitpicking things, and I just can't see them as town at this point. The way one of the heads objected to us choosing to bodyguard them Night One yet scum reading them later...reads aren't static? It feels very artificial. Their objection to LLD's claim, other stuff I could probably dig up if it weren't time for bed.

I'm less enthused about lynching elsewhere for strongman-hunting reasons, as if scum have more than one strongman shot, our role feels pretty pointless. Which, Cabd was involved in the design (*cough*, poison doc), but with no other active protective roles in the game, I don't see that as super likely.

Ellibereth, you say you being town means chesskid is town. How sold are you on that? Because I don't get the sense that you two are 100% on reading one another, and if chesskid is scum, there's a 2/3 shot he didn't get to pick his buddies anyways. How are you reading him based on his play here, leaving out all the 'pick your scum team' bullcrap?

Elsewhere, I'm OK with an ActionVoyage lynch. Lucky is specifically disconcerted that UC Voyager hasn't interacted with him, and their jump on us wasn't impressive.
