The 'Wrong Place at Wrong Time' should have clued you in, but the role implied that you'd show up as the most negative result for you. Bit late to change the wording but we thought is was clear (and the other player who got the role realized it as well).

It concerns me that both scumteam were immediately "your neighbor is on the other team" but the entire town seemed adamant about that being unlikely <_<

Scumteams knew one of them was scum, so it was fair to assume the other is too to retain balance. Town didn't know about either.

Why? I've been in at least 3 games with a neighbor vig mechanic. The other two were town/scum. There can always be something to balance it.
