I'm really sorry for replacing out. I should never have signed up, but I really liked the player list. I didn't have time in the first place then was never able to catch up in real life after getting sick which made mafia impossible. After forgetting a night action in one game and putting off another game I was an IC in at the same time as this game, I knew that I really just needed to take a break.

So I'm very sorry Cheetory but thank you for running the game!

I honestly really liked some of the mechanics, and I think the role interactions were cool!
As much as I complained about the flip phase taking away discussion, I think it is something that would be cool to have implemented in other setups.

it was where you just voted aritophanes and demanded his lynch because you were too lazy to actually think the game through.
my misreading you was related (you never once scumhunted this game) but a different matter entirely.

TBH I was struggling to think of reasons to push you as scum >.> I was kinda hoping that in a lylo with you and Xtoxm he'd just quickvote you tbh

I think the only big town problems were the power roles probably not playing optimally (not their fault since all the town roles were new); lilith not outing the people she'd dried and thus allowing Aristophanes to be doubted, acryon not outing all sensor results, and Spiffeh missing half his actions.

On the other hand, they had the unforeseen interaction between Elbirn and Spiffeh's roles that gave them the upper hand, plus they got a tracking guilty on Zito who may not have been lynched that soon otherwise.

Otherwise, town's play was pretty damn good - there were very few easy mislynches, and with the exception of Aristophanes they took a lot of effort.

The game itself was really good - my only irk with it was the scum's roles being less to do with the flavour, as all of town's roles were very much linked in with the whole paint mechanic, whereas our roles were a roleblocker and a visitor. Other than that, great fun!

Anyhow 1) mafia can paint town or scum, 2) we actually had a townie who was always wet, 3) we lynched the only scum in that group the day I got that result anyway, and 4) easy to say when literally none of us have ever played the role I played before.

Also am I missing something or did AA literally never say they were a "freshly coated" VT? Seems that could have been very helpful after I claimed and gave my results... Could have given us a better understanding of things.
