Even if it fills today, the pre-game phase will still be 72 hours after everyone confirms their role PMs, so the actual-factual game won't really be running for at least 4 days out.

Right now it's at 14/21 full, but the last third of the slots are likely to fill slower since everyone really excited for the game pre-in'd and all that.

I'll add you to my list of people to PM about it. With Varsoon's penchant for wedding flavor the mafia and some of the crazy cool stuff I've got in mind ... expect a very enjoyable romp through Roland's world.

I can't wait for the mini-series or whatever it is they're doing (it keeps changing) to finally make it to a watchable form. I feel like the only real way to do the series justice would be to cast well and just film 7-8 movies as fast as possible (mostly due to Jake). Whatever we get will be better than nothing, but almost certainly a let down.

I mean ... 11.22.63 by Hulu was pretty good, but that was just one book and there was so much cut out and so many changes ... I have no idea how a mini-series can possibly span 6 Stephen King length novels and the petite by comparison 1st book in the series.

It would have to be going towards Lord of the Rings films length in my opinion to work for each book. The first book didn't have a huge amount of substance to it and could be done in a couple of hours without as much backstory
