• ONE: FUNDAMENTALS
  • All site-wide rules apply. Read and respect them.
    
  • There is no personal communication outside the forum postings (regarding this game) unless your role specifically allows it.
    
  • Do not quote your Role PM or any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, co-moderator, backup-moderator, or fellow players. Paraphrasing your Role PM is acceptable.
    
  • Be courteous and respectful to all your fellow players and the moderating team.
    
  • Play to your Win Condition.
• TWO: DAY PHASE
  • Each Day Phase shall have a 8 days deadline.
    
  • Votes must be
    bolded
    or they shall not be counted. Abbreviating someone's name is acceptable, so long as I can discern who you were voting for without trouble.
    
  • Unvoting is not required, but is much appreciated by the mods. If you control more than one vote, Unvoting will unvote all of your votes, unless you specify which vote you unvote.
    
  • Once you have reached a simple majority (half of all living players plus one) that person becomes the King. The game thread will be then locked.
    
  • If deadline is reached and no one has received a simple majority of the votes, the player with the most votes will become the King. If there is a tie, then whichever player that attained that number of votes first will be declared King.
    
  • King will PM me name of the player he/she wants executed. If the King fails to do so within 24 hours of thread lock, King will be executed instead.
    
  • A deadline extension may or may not be granted; just ask.
• THREE: NIGHT PHASE
  • Night Phase shall last two days.
    
  • All groups with Private Topics (PTs) will be able to converse during the Night Phase.
    
  • Any role or faction with night abilities may choose to use them by PM-ing the mod with their choice.
    
  • If no action is received, no action will be taken. All actions received after the deadline has passed will not be valid.
• FOUR: CAPITAL OFFENSES
  • Do not quote your Role PM or any private communication (either real or fabricated) with the moderator, co-moderator, or backup-moderator. Paraphrasing your Role PM is acceptable.

IT IS UNFORTUNATE THERE IS NO LYNCHING IN THIS GAME SINCE, OUTSIDE OF COMPLETING MY ROMANTIC NOVEL ABOUT THE TALE OF A YOUNG PEASANT TENTACLE DEMON, OUTCAST BY HIS FRIENDS AND FAMILY FOR HAVING A FREAKISHLY LARGE MEMBER, AND HIS FORBIDDEN LOVE AFFAIR WITH A HALF-FISH-HALF-HORSE PRINCESS FROM A FARAWAY LAND (IN ALL GOOD BOOK STORES SOON), ROPING SCUM FUCKS IS THE SINGLE GREATEST PLEASURE IN LIFE. Hmmmh... I do not know if I've played with anyone in this player list before, so I don't really know who the most kingly person is. For now, I think I will vote for Kastuko because his signature has a game about cupcakes and I think anyone who likes cupcakes has really good judgment and therefore is probably fit to be king.

On another note, I am hoping to earn whatever town credit it may afford me by mentioning that everybody should claim a target and a cop result at the start of each day phase (regardless of your actual role). I am guessing cops will not be a major factor in this game but it does not hurt to potentially have a game-changing piece of the puzzle later on.

I have also considered the idea of keeping an unofficial

"real"

votecount... i.e. Having each player vote for who they really want to lynch with something like "

PISS LOCUST ON: XXXXX

" where XXXXX is the name of a player and "piss locust on" is a vote (in line with the flavor). I would be fine with keeping a tally of who pisses locust on who (an unofficial vote count), and perhaps at the end of the day, the player who has the most locust pissed on them can be chosen by the king? It would require the king not being arrogant enough to reject the majority, though. But it also means that it doesn't really matter if, say, we elect scum as king because they don't choose the lynch, we do. 'tis just an idea that could be considered.
