Looking back at myself I can easily see why GenX and others might see me as scummy.

--I'm trying to encourage town coordination at night which can be interpreted as scum trying to telegraph and control the town's moves
--I made a list of role preferences and asked for other player input which can interpreted as me trying to "look townie" as Espy suggested
--I picked the Backup Vig which a role scum would prioritize getting their hands on

Then again Espy's suggestion of picking with little thinking or discussion could be scummy in itself. At the same time, I

agree with him at this point because I feel there's more to be gleaned from the picks people make than from any discussion beforehand.

That said, town is dilly-dallying too much in picking up certain roles that could be very dangerous in scum hands and I'm getting uncomfortable.

Personally, I think it's better for Tammy's neighbors to remain annonomous for as long as possible to have spies in the rooms. If we out them now, we just give scum 3 targets to aim for which will limit the effectiveness of the neighborhood.

I'm not sure exactly how this is all supposed to work. SpyreX wants to permanently roleblock me, but others have said that they want me in the room to be locked down so they can confirm that the room was locked down (by me trying to vend to someone outside of said room).

Since a room can only hold up to 7 people it would be best if everyone avoided the Labratory except for Tammy's neighbors so we can ensure they're all together.

I understand Spiffeh's point, but on the other hand, if everyone avoids it, then it's obvious who the neighbors are. I still feel we should keep the neighbors secret for as long as possible to keep scum guessing. If Tammy's hood is on point about scum, the neighbors will start dying. I want them to have to guess as much as possible to hit them. Tammy could choose two other people to join them for a total of 7 in the laboratory. (Tammy + 3 'hood members + Andrius + 2 more)

Oh yeah, I said it before but skybird is a very easy scumread and is mislynch bait a lot. I looked back at musical mafia the other night and my read on her was inconclusive but that she was lacking a certain oomph that I expected if she were town. I also said that I would only trust spiffeh's read on her, which I think I'm going to reenact in this game.

No, we are just discussing who should be with whom in the rooms. I was of the opinion we needed other people in the Laboratory besides Tammy, the neighbors, and Andrius so it wasn't obvious who the neighbors were 'cause I think we should keep them private as long as possible. If what Gen X says is true, then the general population won't be able to see who's in the room. Then the question becomes do any of the roles allow a person to see who's in a room.

When I looked at your ISO, the only mention of Yanko was in post 513 where you called one of his posts bad. Why was he your first vote? Also, you’ve pretty consistently called Yanko/Toogeloo scum but your vote isn’t on that slot and has moved around quite a bit. Why?

SpyreX - You are all about RBing me because you think I am scum. But you aren't voting me, nor have you voted me yet. Your ISO also seems pretty empty. You've called Andrius and UT town but I don't see much about other reads. Also you are still looking at the numbers picked for the draft and calling someone from the #1 group and one from the #6 group as scum. just because someone is our "best read" doesn't mean that we're obligated to vote them. sometimes lynches that we want are in vain, and we can't really get them and have to settle for something else.

I did go to the kennels and I also told the Mod I wanted to vend food to the room. But since Spyrex was intending to block me and was in the room, I'm guessing my vend didn't go. I have a pm into the mod to get some verification on that.

Goatmeal is lying about not picking a room. According to the Mod, someone who doesn't send in a room will be sent to the first unoccupied room. On the plan, the Radio Room was listed as being open so that is where Goatmeal should have ended up.

Mechanics

It needs to be alone and in close proximity with the life-form to be absorbed.

After the lynch each day, but before night, there is a 24-hour phase called the Room Phase. During this time every player has the chance to send in the top three rooms they'd like to go to by PMing me.

At nighttime, there will be a PT created for every room in the game for players to discuss inside of. Various roles also interact with the rooms, this is described inside the respective rolecards.
A maximum of 1/3 of the living players may go to the same room. If there are more then that, the overflow will be send to the next room on their top three.

If a player does not pick a room, they will be sent to the first unoccupied room on the list.

If every room in a player's top three is filled, then they will go the first room on the room list that has a spot

We talked with GenX in the kennels last night about blocking MoI. There was a disconnect between Wraith's plan (3239) and Andrius' plan (3117) as you guys have already noted. There was also the disconnect about where PV should be. This gives both GenX and PV a "reason" to be non-compliant. I really want us to have everyone on the same page tonight with regards to the plan to prevent this from happening again.

Yes I did vend and I'm pretty sure it didn't work. At least no one has complimented my on my wonderful lasagna dinner yet.

I would love to see more from Skybird as she's a small townread but I can't recall anything of note she's done recently.

I'm here reading and trying to figure things out. Tonight I am going to vend to a single person in the Kennels and it won't be Spyrex. I've been thinking about his role and it only blocks people if they try and target him. I was blocked N1 and 2 because I tried to vend to everyone in the kennels. Tonight I'll vend to a single person and it should work. My point being that Spyrex can say he's going to block Players A, B, and C, but if none of those players target him they should still be free to do other actions. I don't know if we have cleared anyone from being a shooter N1 because Spyrex blocked them but if we did we need to rethink that unless they took actions on him. I still don't have a good read on Spyrex and it concerns me because with the way his role-block works, he could block scum and as long as they don't target him, they are still free to do other actions. He can follow the plan and know he's really not tripping anyone up.

I'm not sure where our next lynch should go. PV and GenX look bad for breaking the plan. Dreal looks bad in general. I just don't think it's going to be that easy.

Let's suppose UT/Spyrex for a moment Spiffeh. Who is the third scum?

Exclude anyone from the lab, anyone in the kennels, Drealmerz and Creature and FA, you get a really small pool.

I've been thinking about Spyrex as scum. His role is purely a defensive role. He targets three people and if any of those people target HIM, their action will fail. So for him to say he is blocking people isn't accurate. He only blocks them if they target him. Now look at who he's been touching as he calls it. UT, Fire, and me N1 (2466) and UT, GenX and me last night as he posted in 3535. But then in post 3636, he calls UT and me town.

Touching UT doesn't make any sense anyway. UT does not have an action unless he is scum. However Spyrex calls UT town as early as post 990. Why would he touch someone he's town reading, especially someone who doesn't have an action?

Skybird, I got no idea on Spyrex but using his role on UT makes sense. He cannot interfere with any investigative or town role, only scum.

I really don't like how 1shot VT has done nothing since replacing in. I'd have no problem voting that slot, but it would be more PL because I didn't have a read on the slot before he replaced in.

Why do you think using it on UT makes sense? If I had the role I would be targetting my scum reads. His targeting doesn't do anything unless they act against him. So its pretty harmless unless they try to NK him. But it could give us some more information. If the NK is missing, we could look at his targets as another piece of information. He has claimed that he was town reading UT and me. The only possible action we could take would be a NK if we were scum. I know I am town. Personally I'm not sure about UT tbh.

I'm V/LA this weekend but will be checking the thread as often as I can.

I had a big discussion in the kennels last night about Spy's role. IMO he has been acting like if he targets a person, that person will be blocked. But they are not blocked unless they target him. I wanted to make sure we didn't over look this point. And it has also made me concerned that he was scum. I really don't know if he is or not. I was reading his ISO looking for examples of him talking about his role as blocking people vs. just targeting him and ran out of time. So maybe I'm looking for something that isn't there or I just didn't find it because I was in a hurry.

Spiffeh asked me to target Spyrex last night. Unfortunately my guests arrived earlier than expected and I forgot to send in my target. Because I am compulsive, the mod randomly chose for me and I targeted PV. I know that is not per plan and I understand if people want to lynch me for it.

I don't think the scum team would be afraid of killing you to confirm your alignment. The reason I find it odd that you weren't killed over Titus is precisely you have more clout and would be more dangerous alive. Correct me if I'm wrong but dreamer is the only one suggesting any kind of serious concern about you. Anyway, I'll come back to this later.

I've sometimes expressed a desire, or at least thought it, for some people to be in a game because they'd know I was town and fight against my attackers when I've been under attack. We are on Day 3 and have over 190 pages of posts. I don't see why Spy would slip that much in your estimation from 3 posts.

In the radio room last night UT and I were comparing scum reads. I asked him a question about Toog and DGB. It doesn't make sense to me and I wondered if there was some long range scum strategy. In the same post I stated that I thought PV needed some pressure. N1 in the kennel he had some weird posts. It was like he was trying too hard to look town. Since then he's been pretty non-existant. I don't know if UT saw it and didn't respond or didn't see it until day started. My post is the last one in the thread until the mod closed it. I did find it strange that UT would ask me, the VI, what the plan was going to be.

I also have to say for someone who wanted the tree stump role, I don't feel UT has done much with it. Is it possible he took it just to keep Tammy from getting the role?

I think Wraithe is town just because it would be incredibly unlucky for town to have assigned night planning duty to two scum. Also, there were some discrepencies between Andrius' plans and Wraithe's plans early game. (ISO me if you want a few examples, I pointed them out, there may have been more.) I think if they were both scum they would have been the same to avoid suspicion. Plus Wraithe's play has felt town to me.
