I'd disagree (duh). Scum have a shit ton of options provided that their PRs don't actually die immediately, and with all the town actions floating around false semi guilties are pretty easy to come by.

The biggest thing scum needed was to kill watch inventor early, or at least before watch immune died. Failing to do so made it more difficult, but as seen, not impossible. Losing watch immune and strongman by day two SHOULD make it really hard to win, which isn't. a balance issue. Scum also had the option to make it nightless for as long as the tracker inventor lived, which means that towns power in late game was somewhat limited.

Were it goon as last scum, it'd be more townsided than I'd like. But scum have a very villagery looking PR, and a lot of night options, even more so if they receive PRs. So no I wouldn't say townsided.

Also I considered that it might be an outside perspective of someone who is already spoiled, but when a player in game echos what I was feeling then I feel more sure that it's isn't just because I'm viewing the game from outisde or w/e.

Uh I had the second most posts in the game so calling this a lurker victory is laughable.

I started lurking because I thought I had no path to win and stopped trying. This is also why I kept killing TWIE even when it wasn't going through. I didn't feel like idling the kill every night to avoid town cleaning people and having to get like 5 mislynches in a row. Since TWIE kept getting protected this ended up happening anyway.

For whatever reason Town saw this as a reason to townread me. I was given the opportunity to kill TWIE and enter LYLO with what I thought were favorable odds with Vax and mhsmith, so I took it. As scum it's not my job to keep the game from apathy. So don't act like it's a DISGRACE that I won by "lurking" when town are the ones that let it happen.

And Katsuki was TOWN when he lurked, got lynched, and cried about it. I was scum and had no incentive to "keep the game active". The situation is completely different.

Also like look at the fucking position I was in after RC's lynch.

You don't think you would be demotivated in that position? People in the dead thread all thought our loss was a forgone conclusion and so did I.

So anyone pissed at the significant drop in my activity can shove it.

Being able to play nice is a priviledge not a right. If I could go back and not try hard as scum ever I would happily do it for the opportunity to play my preferred alignment without having my username hung around my neck.

As it is when I try to play nice I get lynched. As either alignment. I came back intending to change my meta and do things differently and I just got pressured or lynched every game.

If I had the chance to play the game without being a bully I would take it, but as is I'm held to a standard that no amount of attempting to be town and solve the game will ever match.

Dude as your friend, can i just tell you are kind of full of crap to excuse bad behavior?

Like okay lets say that everyone is out to get you, because that is definitely how you feel.
How do you react to it? Do you make the game unplayable and piss everyone off in order to meet your win condition?

Or possibly acknowledge your feelings are clouding judgement and your reaction isn't healthy to yourself or the people around you.

Take a third option. You put yourself in 2 scenarios. You say "Either I am a bully and make everyone suffer so i don't get lynched or I play passive and I get lynched" thats False dichotomy.

You don't even have to avoid using emotions in your play, you can have fun and be charismatic without the need for some of your stuff man.
