Its a really grey area. If the marquis cop dies the game becomes mountainous while deaths are skipped so its eeeeeeh.

Arguably Hiraki CCing you was a major factor cuz you were rolling the town pretty hard until that point

Also being able to kill the more talkative members of the town fast and easily crippled town.

Didn't know the death timer mechanic shuts down when the marquis cop dies though

It doesn't, but marquis cop is the only role that functions without that mechanic.
