This is the point that was lost.

It's a cold morning in Maplewood Village, but discourse is heating up in the common house. Many of the good people of Maplewood are standing and shouting, even pointing fingers at each other. Suddenly, there is a knock at the door, which is strange because the townspeople would just open the door and walk in.

If you want to open the door, turn to page 45.
If you want to barricade the door, turn to page 66.

Spoiler: page 45
You take a deep breath, brace yourself, and open the door. Your jaw drops to the floor and your eyes strain to open wide at what you see before you. There, before the common house, is a HUGE PACK OF WEREWOLVES CARRYING PICNIC BASKETS!!

If you want to invite the werewolves in, turn to page 54.
If you want to slam and barricade the door, turn to page 66.

Spoiler: page 54
You invite the werewolves in from the cold. They stream in, and you are astonished to see Patricia walking in at the end of the line. She is wearing a beautiful green hunting dress, and carrying a longbow and a mandolin across her back. She smiles and winks at you as the werewolves start setting up a feast on the tables. There is a bounty from the forest - truffles, pine nuts, seed cake, wild rabbit and fowl, and plates piled high with cold cut venison. Wild blueberry preserves and sweet mustard on the side, an hot mint tea and elderflower wine to drink.

If you can't wait to dig in, turn to page 69.
If you think all werewolves are evil and must be destroyed, turn to page 88.

Spoiler: page 66
Terrified of the obvious evil outside your own sheltered space, you upturn the furniture and barricade the door. No one can get in or out. You put your back to the door, clutch your weapons tight, and stare into the eyes of those that share your confinement. Slowly, your strength fades, and you have no choice but to open the door, hoping the menace has given up and left.

Hungry, tired, scared, and out of options, turn to page 45.

Spoiler: page 69
A particularly sexy werwolf smiles at you and compliments you as your plate is loaded and your glass is filled. Music and good cheer fill the hall as Patricia strums her mandolin and everyone sings along to her song.

If you want to sing along too turn to page 70
If you've had enough, turn to page 88

Spoiler: page 70
You give your voice to the song, and it rings out true and lovely from the common house:

Werewolves are people too
They look like me
and they look like you

Just because they're hairy
doesn't mean they're scary
Werewolves are people too

So take their paw
inside your hand
and lets make love
across this laaaand!

'cause werewolves
are people toooooooooo

'cause werewolves
they need love tooooooooooo

People are werewolves too
They look like me
and they look like you

Just because they're furless
doesn't mean their worthlesss
People are werewolves too

Kiss their cheeks
and keep them warm
Don't use your teeth
or do them harm

we need each other
like sisters and brothers

So do no haaaaaarm
and lets be waaaaarm

make love to a werewolf
make love to a human
make love to a werewolf
make love to a human

cause werewolves are people toooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Werewolf and human voices blend and merge and it's more beautiful than you could have imagined. You realize that it's almost winter, and we need everyone in the village to work together if we are going to survive the cold New England snow. You decide to stop trying to blame and kill, and start planning a great THANKSGIVING with all your neighbors.

The End.

Spoiler: page 88
You have had ENOUGH! You flip the table in front of you and, with your mob of enraged villagers, surround the nearest werewolf and rip it apart. When the bloodthirsty work is done, all you see before you is a pile of gore.

With all the werewolves destroyed, you return to your homes. The winter progresses, and you find that it is harder to work alongside neighbors who helped you (or didn't help you) murder your mutual neighbors, mothers, children, spouses, and brothers.

You also find that the New England winter is COLD and UNFORGIVING. Without the skills and resources that everyone in town works together to provide, Maplewood quickly runs out of food, heat, and, most damningly, hope.

Spring comes, then summer. Eventually, those who left Maplewood come back to check, and they find almost nothing left. Buildings are burned to the ground. There are signs of cannibalism, and no survivors.

The End.

I really enjoyed your roleplay! Worst thing about your dying that it ended most of the roleplay.

Spoiler:
I was right about Nayla and Cabd!

I was really, really wrong about Ceph, but at least I did finally realize it.
Amid the pressure of great events, a general principle gives no help.

I actually thought the rp was really fun if it made you hard to read.

dream, learn to take criticism. your first few pages of replies in postgame to chess are really gross, even if he's not entirely right

chess, u weren't wrong about a lot of stuff but after the beginning you clearly worded it in a provocative way and acted dicky

and more importantly the rape discussion is fucking stupid, like i can't believe that's legitimately what ya'll are attacking

this was a fun game to half spectate, confused me too much to full spectate.

this concludes the random unwanted feedback from someone who didn't play the game TYVM
