Frankly I'm better at surviving then I am at killing scum. If I'm more scummy assume town and if I'm more townie assume scum.

One day I won't get fooled and outtrick myself and eventually get a better memory.

It’s just different and a side of Mafia that people generally don’t have to think or worry about. I knew going in that the choice would be annoying, but it definitely worked out, and I don’t think this game would as been as great had it not had the secret voting.

I think this style hit Formerfish, Creature, and UnaBombah the hardest.

i think it would have been if
1. more town had treated the boonus rounds like jingle did
2. if scum hadnt rolled a player like me/jingle/dave who is comfortable with mechanics at a deep level to navigate the scum ship through the rocks

game went to mylo and we won so i cant really complain
i do think we had a helthy dose of town underplaying to make this win possible

I actually took the 1-shot and charge Mechanic from Singleton.

However, he did it in a different way . Everyone was given a charge from the beginning, and they didn’t use it properly. I added the modifier bit from the BOONus Rounds to get that.

I actually really loved the usage of the BOONus Rounds and watching players go into “what’s best for town”

There was strong town play this game overall.

Just a great battle between town and scum.

i enjoyed the secret voting
it took a little getting used to on day one but then was fine imo
im not a player that really bothers much with vca or wagon analysis anyway

To be honest, I think the likelihood of a mechanical town win would have been more likely except for the technical complexity of the setup.

It took the following for this scum win:
>A new player confusing two entirely separate mechanical results (fruit vs. sticky fruit)
>A town player using an incredibly negative-utility ability to scum n1
>A scum player pocketing, by accident, the player that controlled the frequency charges of night actions (indirectly)
>Town losing a significant number of 1v1s (S_S vs. TLK, BEF vs. profii, etc.)
>A town player lying about whether they were voting a super saint and thus baiting a vig shot

And that's not even including the BEF claim surrounding the governor action lol

Scum played well but town has a hard time winning the war when it is losing every individual battle, in addition to several unintentional arguable-gamethrows/serious mistakes.

Given how many battles town lost, that scum won this by as thin a margin as they did reinforces how town-sided this setup was

I will say when Una claimed town ducky I felt extremely betrayed.... TW <.<

BrightEyedFish, swear you won't make any stupid ass ploys like you did here and maybe I'll consider playing with you in the future. Because as it is I see you as a massive disruption in games and I don't like that.

I felt from the beginning that Nero Cain specifically was going to be the last scum. He slid under the radar pretty well, and got into so many BOONus Rounds.

He's like the definition of "under the radar": aka someone who wasn't widely townread at all, but just blended in while town tunneled each other.

I really felt the cohesion of that team after Flips died. It was really cool to watch this play out.
