But I just don't think we do.
If I was scum, I would have made it a priority to pick a Day-rep. on my team, simply because it's one more level of control I could potentially use/manipulate.
The question isn't "why take it?" the real question is "Why wouldn't I take it everytime?"

that there was a potential "penalty" of sorts hanging around.
(Meaning that we all got the info at the start of today that scum can pick a Day-rep. amongst themselves if they feel like doing so.)
But I'm willing to bet my ass that they didn't know that before us either, and therefore should've picked one 10/10 times.
There's at least one scum in todays day-reps.
Guarantee it.

Sure it does. If scum DID know it would be public, then Una's argument is invalid, but if they didn't then it has some validity to it.

Una's argument is the only one based on hard facts instead of conjecture. And the one assumption he makes is that scum didn't know their day rep power would be revealed... so if that ends up being right, then Una's case will be way more convincing than any of the others.

If tomorrow's day reps are all/majority from the boonus night games, this basically confirms ram as scum. I dont think there's enough to have ram lynched today though. But we have to acknowledge it's a legit assumption (think it was BEF who first pointed this out)

Btw, day reps don't have that many power as you may think - you can change your vote after day end. We can cast our votes until end of twilight according to rules (not sure if that counts for day end without reps voting for it, this is in day reps part of rules)

Not gonna move my vote from Ram at this point.
And I don't feel like arguing this any further, but giving the scum the option to be a day-rep., telling them we will all be told the same thing in the morning (??), and only then telling us almost seems like giving scum the full advantage with the rule.
Why not inform all players before the night?
During the night?
In the morning?
Scum were told before the rest of us. So I'll keep my assessment unless Boon denies it.

But seriously though, I'm not overestimating the power of a Day rep.
I just think scum should always be looking for a chance to manipulate and push an agenda, and there are multiple ways to do that with just a vote..so why not have another vote to use?

Max talked me off the ledge with Creature/Karm, and we are back on Ram. I think that even if scum knew before hand that their ability would become public knowledge that they'd still use it. The chance to be more in control over the minute things we can possibly control in this game would be too much of a temptation not to use. The wifom behind it's implications are enough of a reason to do it.
