A few post-game comments:

– Dunnstral did an enormous mistake with the Friendly Neighbor claim on Elsa. I'm not taking anything away from Elsa, but this almost cost us the game because of carelessness.

– With that said, Elsa, you were too passive. You were playing as if you already won the game, and this is one reason why you stood out to me initially. If someone clears you like that, you really need to take initiative.

– Killing me was a mistake since it cleared brassherald (which also cleared Fuscoco). chennisden should've died the night I died.

– Thank you for modding this game, xyzzy.

the chennisden replacement was due to a mod error on my part, which is really disappointing to me -- this is the first time I've had to do one of those ever. I sent Wisdom a role cop result for an ascetic player, which, y'know, obviously isn't how that works. the fact that it ended up affecting the game via the mechanics of the replacement is also... less than ideal, definitely.

I'll release all the threads in a bit. I'm hoping to run a similar game to this in the future but with a different set of designers -- I think this premise has a lot of neat possibilities, and I'd love to see what could be done with it.

Talking a townie into falsely claiming a Friendly Neighbour result on you, and subsequently into believing something that's been modconfirmed false, surely counts as a particularly big piece of cunning manipulation.

Mod-Forced for Wisdom's case. Nearly mine too, because I remember seeing that PM being marked as "edited" like 2 minutes before I clicked it. If i had clicked earlier and posted that information quickly into the Mafia Thread, it would've been game over since I dunno what Xyzzy would've done at that point. Mod-kill me and the Mafia?

Oh it was fun, no doubt, but the Mod giving me hope with giving Brass the Tracker result then goings "Oops yeah sorry Elsa is scum" and nearly getting Mod Replaced myself made it feel like I didn't have as much control over the game as i could've.

FWIW, the setup was ridiculously town-sided if the demonlord/DoubtingThomas/RAS slot survived for a long time (and it did). Normally moderators won't make a setup with a role that scum really badly needs to kill and not give them any hint that doing so might be necessary, but normally there's a review phase to catch that sort of issue and this game didn't have one. It's almost like playing a cult game, except that the cult is town-aligned so the non-recruited townies win with it (and thus won't be lynching to get rid of it).
