The Trials - ENDGAME

Welcome to my Large Theme.

Rules:
1.Follow the Site Rules. This includes not talking about ongoing games.
2.You may have access to private threads (e.g. Mafia factional chat); you can talk about this game there, but you may not quote anything from them outside of the PT. You may not quote any game-related PMs without express permission by your game mod.
3.Play to win this game.
4.Lurking: You will be prodded after 2 days of no substantial contribution(no prod dodging). After 24 hours of an unanswered prod I will search for a replacement(unless V/LA). Four prods in total, or two prods in one day will result in an instant replacement. ASK FOR REPLACEMENT IN A PM.
5.Vacation/Limited Access: Tell me when you are going to have limited access. If you have limited access, you will still count as having a prod after 3 days, and you will be instantly replaced after 5 days in total.
6.Weekend: For the purposes of prods and nights, Sunday and Saturday count as 12 hours each.
7.CHEATING:Cheating(breaking site rules, posting while dead, quoting Role PM's without explicit permission, encrypting posts without explicit permission, editing/deleting posts without explicit permission, doing anything obviously against the spirit of the rules) is forbidden. Don't do it.
Setup information:

8.Length of day phases:10 days trials, 7 days executions. More if replacements force me to extend the phase.
9.Length of nights: 2 days. Will usually not end before all replacements are finished.

10. Elimination:The town can kill one person per day. This is called Elimination. People may vote to eliminate someone (e.g.VOTE: Not Known 15)
A quick elimination during the day necessiates more than 50% of all possible votes. You may not vote for No Elimination until trials have finished. Until all trials have finished, elimination is compulsive:At the end of the day, if no quick elimination has been achieved a random person of those who got more than 1 vote, and not less votes than others, will get executed/sent to trials. If there is no such person(nobody got 2 or more votes), a random townie will be executed. These rules still apply after trials have finished, however, you may then vote for No Elimination, which causes no-one to be executed.
10 a. Trials: The first three eliminations are named Send to trials instead.

11:Hammer:As soon as the required number of people for an Elimination or NoElimination is reached, the game descends into Twilight.
12:Twilight:Alive people, including the hammered elimination target, may continue to post until the flip.
13:Flip: After the flip the game descends into Night.
14:Daychat: Every evil faction has daychat by default.
15:Mod lies, random alignments, conversions:The mod will not lie to you unless it`s a mod error. The win conditions will not change, nor will your alignment change. Alignments are/were distributed randomly.

Win Condition:You win if all threats to the town are eliminated and at least one town-aligned player is alive.
Win Condition:You win if you pass a trial with a perfect score.
Loss condition: You cannot win if you fail a trial(Failure, Horrible results)
You need to pass at least one win condition without passing a loss condition to win.

Mafia Goon

You are a Mafia Goon
Each night, you may attempt to kill one person. Until trials are over, you must attempt to kill a person. This is factional - only one of you can attempt to kill each night(it doesnt have to be the same person every night.

Loss condition: You cannot win if you fail a trial with a Horrible result.

Public Information

This game starts with 12 Vanilla Townies and 3 Mafia Goons.
The three first executions are replaced by trials. People going to trials are removed just like with an execution, but still have something to do that affects gameplay. There are six possible trials, based on day number and alignment.
These trials will be

difficult

, especially town trials, and townies failing them will lose the game(for themselves). Passing town trials helps town. It might hurt town if these trials fail. It will hurt scum if scum fails their trials. The following results are possible:Horrible, Failure, Pass, Perfect Score. Only townies can have a perfect score, and those who get one win the game for themselves. Townies will lose the game for themselves if they get Failure, and everyone will lose the game for themselves if they get Horrible(including Mafia).
The results of trials can be changed by other trials.
This game will be very swingy, and bad executions can be VERY bad for either team, especially a Day 1 scum execution.
There is the potential for a very very bad event named Maximum Failure. This happens if three townies get sent to the trials, and two of them fail; or if two scum are sent to the trials and one of them fails. The phase following the current or next Night phase is the Punishment Phase: All other event conditions and trials are discontinued, and the team suffering the Maximum failure will now have to wait for the Mafia decision between two or three punishments. None of them will be good for the failing team. The town will be informed when all trials have been completed. Trials interrupted by a Maximum Failure count as Pass for win conditions. Due to the nature of the game, any kills, including Execution, are compulsive until the trials have ended.

With 15 alive, you need 8 to send someone to the trials with absolute majority vote, and 2 to send someone to the trials with relative majority vote at the end of the day. No Elimination is disabled.

Day 1 will end in (expired on 2020-09-25 11:00:00) or when someone has been sent to the trials by absolute majority.
