Look, here's what's going to happen:

We're going to lynch someone, probably someone in the perceived lower half of skill level of the players in the game that had the most uninspired d1 by t0an and/or volume; hopefully we're right

The wolves are going to SPK someone, probably [player] if he's a villager and/or has something that could be minimally construed as a correct fakepeek, and then some other shit may or may not happen and we'll have NK/mechanical stuff to talk about

It's hard to gin up enthusiasm when the real game isn't actually going to start for the better part of 96 hours, and having [player] act like he's all clever for voting me because there's a 25% chance he could be right and have gotten in on the ground floor is just stupid, and it's insulting that you think it would be at all productive regardless of my role

actually i'm just having trouble figuring out what you're trying to say at all. what significance does this vote have? you had one post beforehand. unless there are personal politics going on here that i'm missing, i don't understand the reaction.

47L Do you even know what Chara's talking about? We played a game called Inception (based on the movie) and it had a "game deadline" rather than "day deadline" just like this one. The difference is it had much more complicated mechanics and several threads with different specific mechanics to each.

I disagree. Scum has incentive to let the clock run in a timed game such as this. I would say rushing things is not the best plan, but D1 where most lynches are mislynches because we're all blind and stupid is probably one of the better days to rush. Take our time with Ds 2 and 3, After that, I would suspect most things would be moving quicker just because of the information we would theoretically have, and less players to contribute information.

i agree here. it's difficult to wrap my head around but i have to keep reminding myself of how little time we actually have. and i'm townreading Auscher vaguely besides.

This game is strange! I don't see a lot of scum hunting going on, but rather gut reads and throwing votes out randomly. I mean, we could also be accused of the same, but it takes 2 to tango.

I can understand the scum team settling for it and playing for time, but what about the other townies? Or are you all waiting for a trademark A50 stunt/gambit to get you rolling?

Auscher's targets are what they are, but unless they're just scum hoping the targets are too suspicious to actually be scummy, i'm not sure it really makes them scum. why claim fruit vendor at all if they can't prove it?
i guess they could have been concerned about a tracker who was keeping quiet.

Also, why did [insert scum name here] kill Hydra? They said they were EVEN Night Watcher, so had no action last night. I am strongly leaning Auscher is a SCUM Fruit Vendor. That way they can prove their role anyway.

I initially had a problem with them saying "you're going o hate our claim" but holding off until Hydra claimed first. I suspected that was to tailor their claim accordingly (as in: if they claimed Cop Auscher claims Miller), but then realized that's not the case because (a) claiming Miller would have got them lynched on the spot regardless, and (b) they claimed 2 minutes after Hydra did, so it was a short time for them to figure a suitable claim.

I also didn't like the "that works too" comment when they voted N_M. It sounded as if they had a plan then realized an alternative would still work.

Of course, I am being me, so I'll wait for Chara to come in and give their feedback. We don't have a hydra PT for this game, so I'm saying this here and they can show me why I'm being ridiculous in public for this once.

Also, it's interesting to note the first two claimed targets were the NKs, I suppose this wasn't the original plan and they intended to out there was a scum RB, but then saw they could end the game on D3 and changed their mind, then N_M got voted and they -once again- reverted to bussing for Town cred.

I better shut up and wait for Chara as I'm starting to sound exactly as I would in the Hydra PT.

But really, my main problem with Scum!Aristaly is I can't see either of them killing Hydra lol here. It would always be the Fruit Vendor, or -if they wanted to play that card- our slot to reassert the notion of identical role PMs. (I certainly would've gone for the Fruit Vendor if I was scum 100% of the time).
