I never said it was a mafia game .
Marquis actually at the time didn't think it wasn't mafia enough for the micro queue, but I thought it would be a better fit for a marathon anyway. Basically you have a town dayvig and someone who has a 50% chance of being mafia. Win conditions depend on this. If town, both must survive, if mafia, the townie must kill and the mafia must survive in order to win.

I'm also thinking of doing a dayless mafia. A dayless variant of an offsite game of mine that's similar to lucid dreamers (from what I understand), with the only form of communication the ability to add something to the write-up. But I may save that experiment for another time.. Perhaps if the Blitz queue came back.

Sound like a mafia game to me. Definitly more fit for marathon day than micro queue given player size and length of time I would expect the game to take

I think some of the subtleties get lost on a forum, but I think it would make an excellent face to face mafia game though. But Marathons aren't the place for subtleties, so I suspect that's not going to be a problem, haha. I was thinking of doing a few successive rounds of 15 minutes at most, and even that may be too long. Also depending on the number of players signing up. And then obviously keeping scores, town vs mafia winrate. It

should

be 50%.
