Scumhunting is just a much better skill than persuasion, which basically made the game extremely townsided.

Scum don't make use of the scumhunting ability, whereas town make use of both scumhunting and persuasion.

Added to the fact that since there are way less scum, there is also way less chance for them to land higher number people.

Well, not quite. Persuasion can hurt town too. If you have a high persuasion score and a low scum hunting score as town, you can actually cause town quite a bit of hurt, particularly as the Day goes on. And ESPECIALLY if you're trying to find a high Town as Scum score person.

Good game. I take comfort in the fact that CMM died long before me.

I suspect there's one realistic accurate way to determine if this is balanced with this many scum/these power roles.

And that's to run a monte carlo simulation.
