hello! your roles are a little complicated, so I'm putting the explanation here:

you're the ~scum~ in this game, but you're not quite mafia, and you're not quite serial killers. something in between.

currently, the two of you are working together, but all of that can change. each night, you have a factional kill. you must select who will perform the kill and who will be the target of the kill.

the first time either one of you would die (either via another player killing you or via a lynch), instead neither of you will die. the second time one of you would die, though, you will enter a prisoners' dilemma showdown, and you will each need to choose to either COOPERATE, or BETRAY via private message to me. this will also trigger if you have avoided one death and you eliminate everyone else.

--if one of you selects COOPERATE and the other selects BETRAY, the one who selected BETRAY will instantly win and be removed from the game (that player's role and alignment will not be revealed), and the one who selected COOPERATE will lose the use of a factional kill (but you'll still be able to win if you can get down to just you and one or fewer other players left alive).
--if both of you select COOPERATE, you will both survive and the game will continue as normal, but neither of you will have any kill immunity, and only one of you will be able to win. if this happens, you cannot kill each other, and if for some reason the game ends with just the two of you alive, the town will win instead; one of you has to die via some other means for the other to win in this case.
--if both of you select BETRAY, you'll both just lose, and the town will win. womp womp.
