---

• Nightstart (night 0).
  
• Mafia has full daytalk.
  
• The Mafia does not have a factional kill by default. The night kill may be earned via the "8 ball" mechanic (as detailed below).
  
• Day phases will last 168 hours (7 irl days).
  
• Night phases will last 48 hours (2 irl days).

8-BALL MECHANIC

---

• Each night including night 0, the mafia must elect a player who they think will be lynched the following day. This player is the "8-ball".
  
• This player may be a member of the mafia, or the town. It may also be that infamous neutral survivor by the name of 'no lynch'.
  
• If this player is successfully lynched, the mafia will unlock a factional kill on the following night.
  
• If any other lynch than the 8-ball is lynched, the mafia will not have a night kill.
  
• Following any lynch, the game will enter a night phase so that the next 8-ball can be selected.
  
• The 8-ball will flip as the 8-ball. If anyone other than the 8-ball is hammered, the 8-ball will not be confirmed publicly.

For example:
If the mafia selects the worst as the 8-ball on night zero, and the worst is lynched Day 1: The mafia will have a night kill on Night 1.

If the mafia selects Micc as the 8-ball on night zero, and the worst is lynched Day 1: the mafia will not have a night kill on Night 1.

If the mafia selects No Lynch as the 8-ball on Night 0 and a No Lynch is achieved the next day: the mafia will have a night kill on Night 1.
