I have a surprising number of options. It may be time to choose an entry by throwing darts.

In post 57, Vi wrote:also you can't just take a noun and add "land" to it, that's dumb in the view of my extremely correct aesthetic sensibilities
We're not in nounland?

Similarly, I had a quick idea of my 12 and a rough top nine, but I don't think I have distinguished between the songs enough to rightfully assign points. Second pass, here we go.

This is not to defend Cyril because that was certainly a way to respond to Errantparabola's frustration in the context of global protests against racism (and comments in a previous Contest). I'm just making a note here because, judging from reactions here and elsewhere, I suspect that the song is one of those things where we recognize it immediately for what it is regardless of familiarity with the artist because it's a shared reality while others take a while to catch the meaning because they don't have the lived context, so it looks like a bunch of stereotypes if examined superficially.

But yeah, that song resonated with me and thank you (whoever Sudan is) for entering it.
