I bounced off them all. I occasionally listen to MBMBAM now, but I can't deal with TAZ (to be fair I stopped after Balance), and I lost interest in Still Buffering. I keep Sawbones on my feed just in case there's something I can use at school.

i fell off TAZ about 3 episodes into this season bc travis grates on me

MBMBAM is still great. ive never been big into Still Buffering -- or really, anything Travis-centric
but Sawbones is fantastic

Some podcasts:

Asian Enough - Asian Americans talk about their experiences of being Asian in the U.S.
Citations Needed - Critical reviews of the intersection of media and power.
LA Theatre Works - Audio plays with high production values.
LeVar Burton Reads - This is solely to let everyone who ever watched Reading Rainbow as a child know that this exists.
Marginally Significant - Let's talk about the practice of science.
Sawbones - This is xyzzy's fault.
The Black Goat - Let's talk about the practice of psychological science.
The Gateway - An investigation into Teal Swan, a New Age, self-described "spiritual guru".
The Hilarious World of Depression - Content warning. From lived experience, this user can tell you that depression can be fucking hilarious.
The Missionary - Those mission trips to Africa aren't actually humanitarian work.
The Mortified Podcast - People read embarrassing and funny stuff from their childhood diaries or works.
Up First - NPR's quick, 15-minute summary of the news each day.

More podcasts coming later once they get listened to.

Little ego here because I probably need to trade some out of my current rotation and could use some replacements.

Get to know me. Or don't. I won't tell you what to do. I'm not God. Or your father. Or your boss.

Post Post #54  (ISO)  » Sat Oct 17, 2020 4:38 pm - This Week in Virology - virologists get together and chat about the latest virology news. mostly covid lately of course but sometimes other viruses too - take a trip into a possible or not so possible future and then listen to experts and people who might be disproportionately affected by that future discuss it! - ologies! each episode is a fascinating deep dive into a topic you never knew was interesting - en clair. forensic linguistics! Listened to the Enigma episode recentlyish and I thought I knew the Enigma story but most people start the Enigma story with Turing and there's actually a lot of back story. Like the Poles, who cracked several earlier versions of the Enigma machine.
