In NC. If Reck wants to make some easy cash, I'll buy a few packs (or even a carton) off him. Cigarette taxes in NY/NJ are the highest in the country. Definitely stock up before you come. In metro areas, a pack of Marbs/Camels can run up to ten bucks.

This is just patently untrue. In multiples ways. First of all, alcohol IS a drug. You're crazy if you think it isn't. Second of all, what drugs? Shrooms, weed, caffeine, acid, in my opinion all have similar if not less deleterious effects when compared to alcohol.

You're just wrong. On pretty much every count.

Yeah, this is why I didn't want to bring this up in the meet thread. Acetaminophen, ethyl alcohol, caffeine, nicotine - all gnarly drugs that leave a footprint on your body. They're innocuous because they're mainstays of legal chemical culture.

If the DGBpool takes 87 towards NYC, they'll run right into Albany. If I can get from Rochester to Albany on my own, would the carpool be able to grab me (and Shea)?

If you've only got three open seats in the DGB mobile, I can go mass transit if DramCowShea are all /in. Greyhound/Amtrak from Rochester to Albany (carpool pickup) is only ~fifteen bucks cheaper than a full ride to NYC.

I'd love to sing along in the DGB carpool, but I discovered that it's

expensive for me to bus Rochester <-> Albany than directly to NYC. There are express megabus lines that make the trip to midtown NYC for $30 each way, while Coach/Greyhound lines that stop in Albany charge $60+ each way.

I mean... I can probably tell the megabus driver to dump me off at an Albany rest stop for full fare, but that seems unnecessary.
