things besides the start menu are favorably different
for example, when i drag a window to the left side of the screen, the window fills that half of the window like it always did in 8 and 7
but at the same time, windows prompts me to choose a window to place on the right side
which speeds up a lot of things i do habitually

also a new option is the ability to have a window fill just a quarter of the screen, though i don't know if that'll ever be practical

if not, get that kms activator (preferably by torrent rather than the website) and your os will work long enough like a legal system that you'll be able to grab v10

i've had no problems getting matlab to work on my windows 10
it has problems, of course (ex. no precise stimulus timing!), but these were problems with all versions of windows since xp
