A) Who's we?
B) We should hang out! We have something like 7 scummers, 8 if you count sitebanned ones!
Didn't mean to ignore this. Not on the site all that regularly anymore, but yeah we're coming next weekend for the F1 race, and whatever else we can fill the remaining time with I suppose.

Ok so following up on previous posts, the current plan has us getting in on Friday morning. Race schedule will keep us busy into the evenings. If there's anyone here that wants to hang out that I haven't already spoken to, send me a PM and we'll see what we can do!

We wouldn't be available until around 6 on Saturday, so it would be impossible in the afternoon.

I'm free all day on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday, I'm only free in the late evening (and I might need to be home on Saturday night when my father drops off his cat), so Friday is by far the best day for me to meet up. (You can all do your own thing on the weekend and I may try to join you for the tail end of it.) I've never been to the Grand Prix and don't know anything about the race schedule--I can either meet you there or wait until afterwards.
I don't know what kinds of touristy things interest you. Do you want to see museums, walk around scenic areas, enjoy bars/restaurants/nightlife? I can suggest a list of activities if you want. There's a looot to do in Montreal. Alternately, we can be nerdy and do things like boardgames, escape rooms,
face-to-face Mafia
I draw the line at that one, etc.
The weather has been kind of crappy and rainy this week (which is bad timing, because last week was gorgeous). According to this, it should rain on Saturday, but the temperature is fine.
I'm assuming you're the expert on Montreal things. I probably should have mentioned that we don't actually drink... at all. (That doesn't necessarily exclude doing the beer fest though ABR.) We do like restaurants, so that is definitely something that could be done, particularly if they're specific to Canada or something we haven't been to before. Can do any kind of nerdy things we might have in common as well.

Ok so as things stand right now. We're taking off tomorrow morning. We should have Internet where we're staying so we can hopefully get in contact with everyone on PM. Going to be something like a 21 hour drive. We're hoping to split the drive in a way that allows both of us to get through Friday without crashing to sleep. The race stuff actually doesn't really have much of note that's worth staying for after 3:30 so we'll probably duck out of that after the F1 practice to check into our room.
Saturday anything after 6 probably works. We're at the track until 5, not sure how long travel time is.
Sunday the main race is at 2, and will max out at 2 hours which I don't think the race will get close to. We'll probably be available from late afternoon that day.

Let me know what kind of things you'd be interested in doing. I'll hit you up if something works for us!

We're in Montreal now and we're really tired after over 20 hours of driving and over 30 or so hours of being awake. Sleep is going to be so great tonight

Yeah it's like after 8 now and we would have to burn at least an hour in travel time both ways. I just think it's not really meant to be this time. We kind of crammed our time off and our planning didn't leave a lot of free time.
I don't think we're done with Montreal though and we're almost certainly coming back in the future. Even coming back for next year's race knowing what I know about the metro system we can easily plan our next stay to be much closer to the metro, and set aside more time!
